Yeah the one by Vamos was added in the remaster to make the Pinwheel runback easier. Resting there without the Lordvessel, however, can easily ruin a playthrough because of how difficult getting all the way back up through the Catacombs is.

Dark Souls is probably my favorite game.

I just bullied Gwyn to death on NG+ by parrying him with a +15 Great Club. Lots of fun; and I imagine that that fight would be a lot harder if he couldn't be parried.

correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a while since I was here regularly, but as far as I know there's no way to get notifs for SU's with the new update, unless you get notifs for everything. That's why a lot of people have made a custom stream for SU's.

there was much yapping about this right after the update, I think Archie was the one to figure it out.

Basically, if you're on a computer, go to the newspaper button right next to the search bar. Scroll to custom streams, then make one that shows status updates of everyone you follow. It still won't give you notifs but you can get in the habit of checking it once every so often, it's the best solution we've been able to find.
