I think it's fair taking a look at them rn but I can't say I have a strong read either way. Gah, I'm at the weird point in my life/the game where things are weird and I'm having a hard time making decisions and sticking to them.

So that means they cannot block hazekilling, investigating, restocking, or non-vial items. Iron cannot be used on yourself, but has no limits to the number of times you can protect another player. Also, I would highly recommend that anyone needing to refresh themselves on the rules please refer to the rules doc and not the signup post. I don't post a lot because I don't have much to say, or a ton of time to say it, but I do check in on the thread pretty regularly so I was aware of all the reasons people were discussing an Archer exe during the night turn. I didn't think it was necessary to question it given what has been said and the potential information we will get out of it.

The main points of trying to work out what can be worked out: There are two main possibilities that explain the kill numbers and item delta we see: these largely involve either Nicrosil or Bendalloy. Since these were used to increase the number of kills, we can be fairly certain that they were in hostile hands. Publicly, the players known to have Nicrosil were: <Mat, ??? (N1 retriever.)> This ignores possibilities such as that two players claimed Nicrosil N1. At this point, Mat is I think a decent Village read and has been targeted twice for his Nicrosil. So if there is anyone of interest, it is the N1 retriever(s). The problem with trying to ID the N1 retriever(s) is that no one has claimed Nicrosil (duh), and I've managed to trade my actions for those of a decent chunk of the playerbase. My current working hypothesis is that Ash may have been our N1 retriever, or an Elim who just claimed a failed action (easiest I suppose.) That closes down helpful/practicable inquiry for the moment. In the case of Bendalloy, we are looking at <Araris, Steel.> This ignores possibilities such as that one player claimed Bendalloy N1, and then the AF pull covered it by adding another Bendalloy to the Stockpile. We face similar problems with trying to ID the N1 retriever, but there is also a chance that Elims may similarly have obtained Bendalloy via the Ash NK. Trying to work out the delta today might be helpful in figuring out who the kill hit. If we can rule out a Bendalloy possibility, or conclusively rule it in, that's useful in terms of determining which suspect pool to look at. I don't think a 'rolelynch' is helpful here, but I do think it's something to consider when evaluating Araris.

Our main problem with the Nicro/Duralumin theory is they are missing N1, so why didn't they power up for N2, right? What if they did? What if it got Cadmium-Delayed to N3? I have talked with Kas on how we can verify this, but revealing the 'how' right now may alter elim behavior/actions to muddy up the verification process, so it's prudent to reveal after this cycle. N2 had two kills, which would have been expected as norm so not right after the cycle, but after all the kills from N3, yes I'd expect a claim [unless it was Ash]. Stick maaaybe? But I don't think Drake or Steel would be N2 kills, but Steel as N3 kill is weird as it is.

Everyone in my current PoE is "I don't have a reason to Village read you/I don't think my reason to Village read you is particularly strong so I think I am going to revise it." Plus, I do agree with Axl about a default attitude of suspicion - if I don't have a reason to Village read you, then all else being equal, I'm not opposed to pushing you for a grinch. I do have degrees even within that pool, but by and large, I'm not fully convinced my pool is correct but at this point, I feel we just need an Archer flip to confirm/deny things and then can proceed from there. Speaking of which, as I probably will be too busy to get back on substantively: Karn, Archer.

I have been conspiring to murder most of you this entire game. It's nothing personal, I just *checks RP premise* really don't want this spaceship to get to... another planet? The Physical Realm? Financial viability as a business? Either way, before I pass on, I wanted to get that off my chest. It will save me a lot of explaining once I reach the dead doc. I doubt any of them figured out my true alignment, so I'm saying this now so I'll have some shocked reactions to relish when I arrive in a few hours.
