Feels like myst did this in a sort of sunk cost kinda way When really he was the one who led the charge on mint, not the one who wanted to vote twin and then decided not to. In my opinion it doesnt feel villagery, it feels like twin coulda been a misexe and this is the best way to set it up for tomorrow. He was banking on TUO doing it, and then tuo showed he wasnt going to. -

I think my issue with myst is that i dont see reseved as a Village trait. Villagers are more likely caught up in the havoc of it all, with the haze or whatnot a game creates. Elims are more likely to be unaffected by that due to their informed nature. While myst wasnt reactive to the votes on them, they did use it as justification to vote mint, and compare themselves to hoid- either trying to throw people there or maintain that this was not an Elim trait, because see? Hoid also did this! And he is not an Elim. He furthers this by then calling Hoid village of sorts. My two cents, I see your read but dont agree with the basis. Edit: I do think i agree with partly the deposition vote, since its a difference from staying calm and trying to move attention, and becoming the center of attention once again. -

Long Game 113: The Thaylen City Council
Illwei replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
My two cents is that whether he is an elim or not, his loyalty will likely not be helpful in being used as the sole reason. Deciding things like this, whether right or wrong in this circumstance, is not a good use of discussion or any sort of time. Personally, if I was given the option, I would have picked a negative loyalty for multiple roles if I knew I had randed them. Focusing on this wastes our time and energy as a town. I cant do anything but I recommend that tomorrow you all try to look at various places that are not twin, before trying to focus back on twin. -

I honestly am really conflicted on Mint. I read through some of their other games and really have no comments on them. As village they seem more excited and active and interested than I feel they are right now. Even seeming resigned to the Exe feels off to me in a way from what I've seen before. I don't think it's an incredibly big difference, as they did start talking in this game, but I think what I'm lacking is reads at all- which they seem to have no issue finding in other games. I will say, as a bigger game, I personally am having a hard time getting a foot in the door with figuring out what other people are thinking in a way. So many directions to go that it definitely confuses me. I don't know if this is something for them. Their vote has been fluid which is something I like. They don't seem to shy away in any way from talking. Their first vote was on myst in response to an Asriel post about how myst and their Mavset-im thoughts. In this post they as well respond specifically to play about the parlimentarian. next post was a townread on me and Hoid. They also flip back on Myst, and then vote on twin for not saying much of relevance. Then she calls TUC a villager, but still with a hesitance in it where she theorizes a world where he is an Elim but still says we shouldn't kill. A brief defense of Archer of sorts. I don't know. I suppose I'm not against this since I can't say I have a strong townread on Mint. I wish I could but... I think what I noticed from her being an Elim was her reads the most- she gave reads but also outs on each and every one of them. Similar to how she gave an out on TUC. But one read doesn't a sandwich make, or whatever the saying is. EDIT: I think I'm just going to have to be okay with killing Mint at this point. I don't know. I've gotta go to second work lol. -

Might not be back before the end of day. I have never seen such busy EoDs here as in the last game lol. Usually no one is around for it in my experience. Twinstorm EDIT: Also @TwinStorm you say you don't think I'm evil, and that I sound normal. Yet iirc the only game I have played with you is LG104, in which I was an Elim, no? Thoughts? -

@Mint11 Can you give a recap of your reads for me at all? -

EDIT: Also can you talk on this more? Are you talking about role collection? because there is nothing village about doing that. Perhaps you could say the guts it takes might be off the table for some elims, since people might suspect them, but going full out saying that it is a wholly villager thing is pretty wild to me. ACTUAL EDIT: CMON. Embarassing again. @Hoid Slayer can you talk on the clear on kaladin? -

Hey now! I asked nicely! Kinda! Does this really read to you as a purely self preservation vote? Why would you think they vote on you for self-pres, but not TUC? -

Well yes, thats the point. A late poke vote on someone who was active and could have been engaged with rather than voted like was done. To say that The intentions was "a poke vote" really explains nothing, because if grub wanted to get a read on me, or to encourage my activity, he could have interacted with the posts I had so far rather than voting. -

@Ascended Grubberfly This was my response to your question from earlier. (Edit: it was posted about an hour after your question was asked) And my question was more along the lines of what exactly were you hoping for in a reaction from me? What did you feel you would get from posting that, and me somehow reacting to, that would help you determine my alignment more than my posts already in thread? -

It definitely isnt definitive, but when pushed on or around, or theres a discussion going on that didnt involve them and they choose to pipe up, it shows a comfortableness and investment that isnt often seem from Elims, especially not newer ones. Theres always going to be exceptions, but yeah, generalities on d1. -

From before. @Mat Archer....is on there yes. As for Hoid I think his current pace and content feels pretty in particular with what was going on last game. Wouldn't kill him. Gonna go through again but the responses to everyone means that hes either making it clear that he is unaligned with everyone, or its going to make it easier to pin down teammates should we decide he is an Elim. For TUC I think that specifically his determination to see the deposition (i kept thinking deposal and got stuck) through is a point in his favor. I remember him being more passive before and not taking it on to make arguments. Could be reading it wrong but wouldnt kill today. EDIT: THANK goodness joe posted this was almost an embarassing triple post. Awkward for me when I just get off work for everyone to disappear..... -

Can you talk to me about what roles you think favor the village in terms of loyalty? And how they outweigh the possibility of the elims having a banker? Or Minister? Or royal family? -

Nah, saying "I didnt give a reason" is something old illwei woulda done before her fun was beaten out of her in MU. Then she found new fun by evolving and giving reasons when she states things so people stop asking her silly questions over and over again!
