  1. Forgot about this sorry. Been a rough few days. Idk what's going on but pls don't kill me quivel. There's no reason. Or kf there is you can tell us, since like. What is happening.
  2. When I reread the "return anew" wincon in my PM . IF YOU HAVENT i recommend rereading, it specifically stated it's the counter to that wincon. I find that. Uhm. Distressing . Edit: Specifically, it says "do not allowe the village to complete this wincon" Which means there is a theoretically village in this ffa game, but they're only discovered by the evil happening at all.
  3. @Quivil I told you everything hoid was withholding yesterday. Then hoid elaborated. On that. There was no information withheld and still you killed him. No one needs to die. No one should die. There's no point. Wizard what's up, talk to me.
  4. I don't understand why hoid was sent back. Don't understand this game.
  5. I thought you said you made good things happen....that's why i took you.... Wondering why hoid is in the game, I was told he took the boat and was gone
  6. The issue is, if someone is hiding information from the masses, the only reason is because that info could hurt them. people leaving the game hurts the people still in the game. whatnot.
  7. Im going to say the wincon because i believe that we are supposed to find it. I think we all want to get out of here and we have to find the wincons to do so. So: If you go to the coast you will get the wincon to leave on a boat. It says there are two locations with boats. This specifically states it can't be completed by those who have the return anew wincon, which i find strange because that implies wincons /normally/ can stack. Yet my old wincon didn't stack. This is what implies to me that the starting wincon isn't a real wincon at all, but a placeholder for when we do find our wincons.
  8. Gonna start by noting this is a FFA game, didn't realize that before but then again I don't think anyone really truly did until TJ was removed. Other thing to note is that the dopplegangers /aren't/ something that we need to worry about. Either we win as the dopplegangers or we win with our wincons. there is functionally no reason to be worried about then from what i can see. Most likely Hoid is one of the dopplegangers atm, based on their adventure to the village with me on C3 and their post on C4 being a no vote on TJ, and no comment really about what they saw with me at the coast. I think the change in posting is pretty notable there. Again, I'm not really worried about this. Whether the rest of us become converted or not it doesn't matter, we can't lose if we have the new return anew wincon by then. In addition i would like to kill wiz next cycle. I don't know how i feel about ash's push there, but Wiz has been the one person who hasn't been talking much about what is happening when they search. I see this as negative utility to trying to figure this place out as we have very little reason not to be as open as possible. Yes, it is a FFA game of sorts, but until we can know our real win conditions we have no reason to assume the worst. Ain't nothing wrong with wiz doing something secret to win the game for themselves, but also if we want to win the game we need transparency and discussion about what we're finding. Secrets only hurt us (as a whole) here.
  9. I still don't fully understand what happened with a n1 teldris kill other than it was intended to clear tun
  10. Ggs guys @BridgeBoi @Terrisman yall were p great EDIT: I think the hardest part for me was the inactives in this game. I think it's funny that the villagers dying hurt me most of all, since I wanted Ash and Aet to stay alive. I decided against killing steel the night i killed sart, and I was really just trying to take away people that seemed to be sided with bb at that point. If you look in the elim doc you'll see the weird and half baked too convoluted plan of trying to get bb to be elected to the seat but like in a pretty stupid way that was never gonna work. anyways kinda wished I killed steel because my idea was that he would be filtered out, and yet it just- he wasn't. and that hurt me in f3 where there weren't really any kills i could make to win. I tried to keep other people alive (Ash/Aet) but it....just wasn't really possible when no one was on. I wanna see this game run again I feel like this wasn't the correct path that was taken- the events over the course of the game. Another edit to say- I'm not mad?? But also having things right for the wrong reasons isn't something I would say is the mark of a good villager. I didn't really follow close enough to say that bridgeboi even had the wrong reasons at all? I'm not going to backread now. I'm just also going to say that you can have good gut instincts but still not be a good villager nothing of that pertains to bridgeboi, who I enjoyed playing with and look forward to watching in other games. just in a general meta comment sense about the theoretical traits of a good villager.
  11. I don't understand what you are reading that you think I'm bullying you. I have tried to work with you in previous cycles. You are the one who hasn't actually given much throughout the game. In fact my post earlier was laying out the reasons I think that help prove I'm a villager. I gave them to you for you to think about. I'm allowed to present you with reasons I'm a villager, and there really isn't anything else to do in this situatiin. But I'm done and getting too worked up hehe Losing to a literal inactive is funny in retrospect probably lol See u tomorrow
  12. First of all there is not a 50% chance I am an elim. That's not how that works. There is a 100% chance one of us is an elim and a 0% chance the other is. I'm the 0. I get that me telling you to trust me means nothing to you. I'm not asking you to trust me off that (though if you could that'd be nice :p.) Im asking you to look at what I've done in this game and see that I'm town here. I'm asking you to ask me questions to help you find me. I'm asking you to engage with me so that ash and aet didn't die in vain. Leaving the game is a risky strategy for an elim? I mean. Sure. But this game there has been no yielding for the elims and that can get tiring and stressful. Do I think steel is an elim for leaving? No, obviously not. Do I think he's town for leaving? Definitely not. Even when I thought steel was town if you look not once did I think he was town for not being here. That had and has nothing to do with his alignment, but even if i were to ascribe a side to it it would always be elim. Maybe I don't think like you. Obviously. You don't need to think like me. What I do need is for you to put even a tiny bit of effort into this game at this point. You are the kingmaker here and you're not making an effort to find me. You're saying "steel isn't here so he's town" which is a ridiculous statement to make right now. Drake wasn't in thread a lot. He wasn't in thread at all. Does that mean he was actually a villager? No. Twinstorm had no thread control. TUN had no thread control. What makes you think the last elim, after seeing their teammates all die without being able to stop it, would be like "yeah time for me to do things" Would they do that, or would they more likely step away from the light and hope that people pass them over (and maybe forget about the game in the meantime idk) My point here is you are specifically voting me for being active. That's not suspicious. You are specifically townreading steel because he isn't here. That's not towny. I'm telling you absolute objective truths in those two statements. Anyone after the game can tell can tell this too. We still have 24 hours in which I suppose I can only hope that steel comes back and somehow outs himself. - I hope you understand the importance of your role right now and the power you have in the game right now. Whatever you vote is what happens. And I'm surprised that you trust yourself to not listen to anything or backread or do more research or engage with me when you just voted out the two villagers i wanted to keep alive.
  13. This is an interesting F3 to me Like, the elim is inactive, should have been filtered out and yet somehow is still here, and our kingmaker is a new player who won't work with me. The whole kingmaker scenario is interesting by itself to me and how you get here that kinda makes me wonder what happens if this happens earlier in the game some time but that's besides the point. I guess I'm just talking in general to the people now since bridgeboi is kinda also gone I cant say anything like "I was pushing steel the whole game" because i legit didn't think he was the last elim. I can say that I have been trying to find the elims since I subbed in and it's noticeable. When people weren't talking i was trying to get them to engage, when ash and aet were up, my two strongest village reads, I tried to save them. So honestly if we lose this it's probably just on track for the game. What happens is people get complacent when it seems like it's going to be a sweep and they stop trying thinking we've already won. Well we didn't win, and actually exed two of my strongest village reads back to back. @BridgeBoi I'm not going to try and pull rank here (im not going to try and say "i have more experience you have to follow me"). What I am going to say however is that the last two cycles you voted for my top village reads while I struggled to get people to engage and tried to defend both of them. Ultimately they didn't self pres. Which is a different grievance of mine. I pushed twinstorm immediately on entry to the game when he wasnt a topic at the time. I found ash, aet, Kas. I found you, at a time when everyone wanted to still you because they didn't trust you. I have been completely transparent with my thoughts on the game as it progressed, and Ive tried to encourage others to do the same. I don't know why you vote for who you vote for, you dont seem to know either based on your posts. I need to know what you need from me to find me here. Im a villager. Steel is the last Elim. I dont know how else to help you find me.
  14. Petitioning the RNG gods won't work if steel doesn't come back, and even then I doubt he's going to vote for himself lol. If you have any questions for me to answer bridgeboi, so that you can find me, let me know.
  15. Okay Well. I. kinda expected to die last night and that terrisman would be the last. Anyways @bridgeboi ask me questions or whatnot if you want. I don't have much to say at this point. I feel like a fool lol idk. Steel
  16. Had to go back to figure out what you meant on the bridgeboi part. Atp you trust him, and yesterday you trusted him too. Is there a chance that he's an Elim who voted to keep a specific person alive? Could it be that aeternum was wary of bridgeboi and therefore getting him out meant that bridgeboi was safer from the vote tonight and would more likely survive til tomorrow? EDIT: Sorry for the double post
  17. @Steeldancer are you going to come back Idk I'm really torn atm because part of me is worried its bridgeboi which at this point doesnt matter becayse he couldnt get voted with terris not wanting to. Theres also the possibility that terris is the last elim and him saying he doesnt want to vote is him trying to bait someone else to vote so he can hammer. There's also the possibility I am wrong on steel but there's no way to get new info with him not around. EDIT: Im half tempted to vote out bridgeboi just because again I don't think this game is winnable if terris is the last elim. Also what is up with my village reads and not wanting to self pres. Ash and aet both didn't pres and if terris is the last elim here I'm gonna just-
  18. At this point I'm debating voting Aet simply because I feel that the game is lost if it is terrisman at this point. With Aet, steel, and bridgeboi all not here.
  19. Terrisman, I notice that your reads are loosely based on the idea that Steel actively left the game for a few cycles. This is a faulty way of looking at things. If you think steel is town to begin with, can you not trust his statement about thinking he was dead in the game and therefore not checking thread? I have already talked about my reads on Steel and Aet, and the fact that Terris is asking me about what i feel on those slots at the very least tells me that he hasn't read my posts or doesn't really care about playing this game without living only in the now. I'll restate. For Steel it is a lot about the contents of the Ajah doc. Steel disappearing was weird, but ignoring that he actively opposed the Elim reads in the doc- specifically when Gaea and Teldris were scumreading Kas- Steel actively opposed that view when it was completely pointless. There's no reason for an Elim to try and defend a villager there when they could have been either ignoring or instigating. Specifically when Kas was the counterwagon to KA, and opposing him only left steel to vote there to save Kas to a degree, since he wasn't advocating for anything else. If an elim, he left himself no choice but to try and save the villager and push the elim, and I don't find this likely. Not only that but he was active in the doc quite a bit when others weren't as much. For an Elim to be active in a doc I'd also look for what their agenda is, but I don't know what that would be for steel. The possibility of pocketing gaea/me is there, since he died off the doc after I said I wouldn't be in the doc much, but in general opposing the other players opinions isn't the way you would try to pocket them. The weirdest thing about Aet so far is their lack of vote on twinstorm on the day twin died especially when they were the counterwagon. My townread on Aet is lighter than my steel read, because I really can't explain much about it but I just. I think they're a villager. A silly reason is because the day twinstorm died they didn't come back and gave the reason "they thought they died" I think that this, sure, could be faked, but it's a strange reason to use when they didn't actually have many votes on them, and didn't actually vote that cycle. I specifically lean V on this because it's a strange reason, one that I don't ever expect an Elim like Aet to use, if they knew they were only at 2 votes compared to 3. If they were an Elim they would also be more tuned into who is dying if wagons were e/e that day. Other than that I can't explain it much because I don't have the time or energy to go through and pick apart their posts. They have several walls they have written that I just believe are out of their Elim range. I could be wrong on this for it being a different site, but I just don't think this is the case. They've seemed genuinely invested enough at specific points with posts that I don't believe they'd post as an Elim. The reason I have steel over them though is because they have been generally directionless since twinstorm died, which I don't know how to feel about. The fact that they did vote and then retracted is more positive than if they didn't vote at all. I don't see any reason for E!Aet to condemn Ash at that point when Ash was townreading him and terris was pushing. It's completely counter productive for them, making it more likely they die the next day. @Steeldancer @Aeternum @BridgeBoi Where are you guys at right now? Day ends in about 6 hours.
