I don't particularly mind either way. It would make it a bit easier to keep track of rollover if it's an every day thing. -

First - the voting threshold was three earlier. Now that I've checked the rules again, I see why it changed. Second - life Happened™ and it Happened™ hard. I didn't see his last post - in which he revealed the withheld information - until after rollover.- 291 replies

You named someone Bread. Okay. Moving on. (Also I think it's hilarious that you named someone Bread, in case that wasn't clear, which I suppose it really wasn't. Sorry.)

Current plan is there isn't one, as far as I know. My ability to engage is also very low right now, and is about to get worse. I'm going to go for the Island. Maybe I'll find what Hoid was withholding. -

Alright. I'll go to the island then. Edit: @The Unknown Area Hoid. After further thought, and remembering Illwei's comment about how hiding information helps none of us, I don't like how he's blatantly withholding obviously important information.- 291 replies

I was busy with work and never figured out where I wanted to go/would be useful, and once again neglected/forgot to put in an order. Sorry about that. Tomorrow I'll explore the village again and see if I get any more information than just "them plant folk do be creepy."- 291 replies

Last turn's summary: I go to the village. The people-plants are creepy. There's nothing smaller than a building left, but I can't tell how long everything's been decaying. The people-plants move in the wind. I get creeped out and l leave before finding anything. -

Sorry for not reporting yesterday. I went to the village and found nothing. If you want italics info I can give it. -
I learned of the existences of Hamilton and Wicked in middle and high school, respectively. I've listened to parts of Hamilton and basically none of Wicked. Edit: Wait. Does Singing in the Rain (movie) count?

I'm tired of Polly's behavior. Sorry for being overly aggressive over it. Edit: Honestly though, I was done with her behavior about as soon as she posted this in response to a joke from RoyalBeeMage and a poke vote from Wizard on the first turn. -

The tunnel just has the Return Anew wincon. (I'm sure of this. I found it twice.) Actually, it was based off the fact that I explored the Tunnel twice and found Return Anew both times. Which… Return Anew was shared with everyone, and we don’t know who found it. @Quivil, did you get the same straight text as last time? First - I'm sure I shared, in my summary, on cycle one, which you would have seen if you had been paying attention, which you should have been because you literally asked me for that summary, that I found the Return Anew wincon. I also seem to remember specifically telling you that the "specimen" you were told (in italics) that I found was probably the Return Anew wincon. Second - No. I got a cutoff of the words "Return Anew" and a (paraphrased from memory; TUA you're free to check when last I read it) "Wait, you already found that. Why are you here again?" along with a request for me to no longer explore there so TUA wouldn't have to write the Crawler scene. (I previously gave most of this information, too. Maybe go back and reread what you missed.) I'm trying to discourage extraneous, re-exploration that would just make it take longer for us to reach our wincon. So you're suspicious of Wizard because, instead of actually finding stuff himself, he permanently makes it easier for others to find stuff. I think it's stupid for you to be suspicious of someone over how their non-AI power works. Overall I think you're a doppelganger trying to sow chaos and get people exed when (in the turn you missed - you should really go back and at least skim it) we discussed the fact that it's probably not worthwhile to exe people, partially because it's not even in the Village wincon to exe people. That or you really haven't been paying attention. I'm going to explore somewhere outside of camp. Polly, if you kidnap me, I will vote for you. You have been notified. -

So the Island and Village are the best two places to search (as in most likely to get results), followed by the Coastline. (That order only goes for those who, like me, won't get any boost from their power for going to these places. Make your own judgements, y'all.)- 291 replies

Okay, I don't know FOR SURE that there's only one thing at each place. I do know that when I visited the Inverted Tower yesterday I found the same thing again that I found on day one (and that TUA asked me to please stop visiting the Inverted Tower cause he didn't want to have to write the Crawler scene). Also, TUA asked what I was doing there again. Another option is that each person finds one thing at each place. I doubt it though, as that would easily cause a jillion problems. Areas to search: Tunnel/Tower - Return Anew wincon Lighthouse - Complete the Mission wincon, and the fact that everyone started with it Island (Wiz says it'll be easier to get results there tomorrow.) Village (Nobody's gotten results there yet.) Coastline (I don't think anyone's searched here yet?) Camp, with all its subsets (The italics say we won't complete the mission by staying here, but also they're italics, so *shrugs* who knows. Though it does make sense that exploring Area X and finding out what's up with it doesn't happen by staying at camp.) @The Unknown Area I don't remember seeing anything about PMs in the rules. That means they're not allowed, yes?- 291 replies

I had a thought. At that point I didn't know anything about fountain pen care. Would not cleaning it properly or frequently enough cause it to leak? It was leaking from the nib. I was finding ink in the cap and the nib was constantly messy. Was it leaking cause I bent the nib?

My father has corrupted me (and probably most of my family) with theater kid ness We grew up listening to Joseph and (the LSO version of) Les Mis, with slices of Phantom of the Opera and Pirates of Penzance thrown in, and a hint of Newsies (but the movie version so it counts less), then Jane Eyre joined the mix...

Someone (I forget who) said my assumption that there's only one thing in each place is stupid. (Disclaimer: this is not an exact quote. In case you didn't notice.) Fair point. Being the Biologist means I'm better at finding stuff in the Tower, so if there's more stuff to find there I should try to find it. So I guess I'm going back to the Tower. Whoop-dee-doo.
