Also, EDIT: @The Unknown Character if you wanted to do an inactivity filter going forward, I definitely think the best way to handle it is to just have it kill inactive. Bringing in pinch hitters for inactivity isn’t the best idea imo. Having pinch hitters for people who need to hop out for life reasons is always a good idea. But it can be annoying having to try to keep track of whether or not a player has hit the filter and figure out if a pinch hitter is available.

That was a great game. And I feel so justified in thinking Araris was already converted. I was just too busy by the end there to argue for it as much. And then I was dead so couldn’t vote anyway. But I feel very proud for catching that subconsciously (I’d actually felt a weird vibe first before I came up with a logical argument for why they’d pick Araris). Also I’m really proud of my Investiture gambit at the start of the PseudoGame, even if I didn’t end up doing much more past that. I meant to PM Spider for more of the game, but I just got busy. And then vacation started this last Saturday and I’ve been almost entirely absent. Overall, very fun game. Thank you to TUM and Wahr for running it! Congrats to the elims!

I am so sorry y’all. I’m on vacation and got carried away. Completely forgot about this game for the last 48 hours. At least I died, so I don’t feel as bad. I didn’t read absolutely everything I missed, but I got through most of it. Skimmed some parts, properly read others. I think xino is probably the best vote here, as much as my dead villager voice matters here.

Hmm. Yeah I guess that’s fair. It’s probably not, I just have a tendency to think of all the possible scenarios.

The only options I can think of here are 1) the last elim(s) is/are inactive and are missing kill submissions; or 2) whoever the last elim(s) is/are feel so confident in their ability to win that they’re just messing with us.

I was saying we go after inactives, and if that doesn’t prove effective, then we go for you. Oh yeah. I didn’t even think of that. That’s really funny. I figured at least one of the people I was scamming would be a MetaElim, but two of them? And they didn’t even connect the dots? That’s really funny. Star was the only one who seemed genuinely betrayed. I felt so bad I gave her my investiture on C2. And for what it’s worth, I did give some people investiture. Just not everyone I promised.

Either Star was very good at acting upset with me in PMs over me doing my little Investiture gambit, or they’re not elim. I’m leaning towards the latter and would prefer a vote on another inactive player. Or maybe go for Araris again, because I could see him intentionally forgoing a kill to frame the inactives.

I think I’m fine with a Lettuce exe since no one seemed to want to bite on my Araris vote.

Yeah basically. The thought process is that there’s no world in which someone wasn’t converted. And I was just looking at the playlist for who’s left and thinking who would make the most sense to convert. And I think it has to be Araris here.

You’re misunderstanding the role. I don’t just die after MetaCycle 3, my role just changes from essentially a Thug to a vote manip role.
