Damn. Rip Verdance, but you kind of fell for that hook, line, and sinker. The counterclaim to scanning Araris as clean is like, so just trying to lay confusion, it’s almost too perfect of an elim reaction. I say almost because I’m still fairly confident you’re elim.

Yeah this kind of seems like Mippo just using a word without fully getting the meaning. Which is fair. There’s lots of confusing SE lingo. But yeah, this isn’t tunneling, at least not yet. It could turn into that if we start really getting into the argument and Araris just refuses to consider other viewpoints. But so far Araris has posted like…twice? Not really much room for him to be ignoring evidence.

So uhhhh….are you intentionally lying about what happened or just confused? A vote was moved from you to Hoid. Myst.

Yeah, why Qian? Also sorry I’ve been a bit absent this cycle. I think I would be down for an exe of any of these options: Coder, Myst, Hoid, or coco. I have things I feel about each of them that would be nice to get confirmed.

Just want to point out that the role that destroys Shardworlds is called Spiked, not Shard. I also think you're thinking about this too hard, Myst. Just because a PseudoElim got blocked because of the destruction of their Shardworld doesn't mean that they're also a MetaElim. There could've been a rogue MetaVillage Spiked who happened to be on Scadrial and destroyed it because they feared the ability to steal other players' roles.

Oh I didn't even make that connection. That changes my opinion on things, assuming the kill wasn't blocked by a lurch or Thug extra life. @The Unknown Medallion Would we have been told if someone was attacked but survived due to protection or an extra life? Which means we probably need to try to throw the PseudoGame. I didn't like the idea of a returning player going down so soon and without a fight. I think I mentioned this in my PM to @coco.pudding at some point. I also didn't like the idea of a Hoid Slayer exe as he's also a returning player, but at least with him in the tie it would have been a 50-50 shot that Coder got to live. Anyway, I was definitely much too hasty with that Myst vote, sorry.

Hmmm. There hasn’t been much actual vote discussion yet. As I’m typing this, the spreadsheet says that there is currently a tie between Hoid and Coder for two votes each. I’m fine leaving that as a tie for now to see how things shake out over the next 10.5 hours or so. I just thought it would be worth it to inform people what the current state of things is since things are weird with the spreadsheet. Also, here’s the list of people who each have one vote: CadCom, coco, Qian, Mippo, TwinStorm.

We have two IRL days for discussion. Night Zero was a short Cycle. The rest of them will be 48 hours each.

The problem there is that in this game (and every game, really), information is everything. The elims inherently have an advantage because they have more information than the village. Both on a meta level and on a pseudo level (assuming at least one MetaElim is a PseudoElim). Part of what makes the elims in any game more powerful is their better knowledge of the game state compared to the village. Yes, the village having more info can be useful, but it also makes the elims more powerful. I really think we should all be extremely cautious of what information we share.

Throwing the game, on either team, is absolutely against SE policy and can get you banned. Also, pretending to be someone you are not in one of the docs is also against SE policy and can get you banned. Source: former SE moderator here. And now I see that you meant throwing the PseudoGame as a PseudoVillager to ensure the MetaElims don't win their bet. That's different as it's part of the rules of the game basically. Anyway, I will not be claiming an alignment, Shardworld, or either of my roles. I have already said this in my Shardworld doc, but to reiterate: I would also like it if my fellow Shardworld inhabitant(s) did not reveal my location. EDIT: fixed a word

Well, I guess we better get this insanity started. Gonna toss a vote on CadCom because I don’t think I’ve seen him show up yet. @CadCom get in here pops.

I personally think it’s actually simpler than it seems: If game go too good for PseudoVillage, then MetaVillage (some of whom will be PseudoVillage and PseudoElim) try to make PseudoElim win. And vice versa.

So going forward we’ll do both Shardworld actions and selections on PseduoGame turns?

Nah, I just took it in high school. I actually barely remember most of it, unfortunately.

I miss playing the anonymous games. It's been over three years since the last one I played. But yeah, they are very tricky. Back when Kas played more regularly, it was always super easy to catch which account was him though.

To be fair, considering Araris's propensity for murder, that's not a bad instinct to have.
