Yeah I'll take that QF spot , sending the game to the committee rn, and expecting to post the sign-ups as soon as I get the approval.

Can I have an MR and a QF slot? I just realised my next close-to-complete game is in the MR format and I do not have a single MR slot. You can immediately mark me as busy, I'll be unlocking my slots as and when I'm free.

Afaik I currently have 1 MR slot (not counting my joint MR with Striker which is on hold currently), right?

Currently TKN’s rules are stalled in committee, so I think either @Sart or @Kasimir should run the next LG so we don’t have too long of a lull between games.

Would pass to Sart. He already has a game approved and ready to run so lag is minimal. I don’t have the bandwidth to fix the last set of patches with Devo at present.

Edited to add:

If Sart doesn't take it soon and we still want to decrease lull, I have a relatively simple ruleset that can be run on short notice. I'll just leave the Star Wars game for some other time.

Since it's taking longer to get games set-up and also because I'm lazy and have the spreadsheet open for updates right now:

5. @JNV [Note: JNV is running a non-Sanderson game but does not need a pass as the free slot is currently available.]

Presuming we can find at least one GM in this set. We can expand it if not. Suggest Ash and JNV iron it out between themselves?

If you’ve got a game ready then go ahead; I’m at a conference for a few more days and don’t really have time to plan anything.

If signups for TKN's game don't hit a number he can work with by next week, I think we should put that game on hold and see if more folks are able to handle a MR instead. With that in mind, would either @Ashbringer, @Kasimir, (or @JNV) be able to post signups for a game in just over a week, aiming to start in around 2 weeks? If not, we can dig a bit further in the list.

Gonna ping @The Unknown Ajah so he's in the loop as well. We can re-announce your game in the Discord with a new start date if you want. I'm also down to chat more in the approval PM if you want to workshop your rules for a smaller player count that may be more realistic (~8 or so).

Very much agreed. I might take you up on that tomorrow. Hopefully with many people finishing up finals I can get some of those Spectators to switch to players.

I'll wait for Ash or JNV with precedence. I'll work on refining a MR over the weekend and will get back by then if neither of them have replied.

Double-posting because this is an update: still dealing with some health issues and would rather not GM just yet. If we can't get @Ashbringer or @JNV, then I think the next few are:

I think in terms of likelihood, if Ash and Araris can't, it's likely to go down to Stick?

I can, but with 2 caveats. I’m not sure I”d get an IM (though given current numbers I could probably be my own), and my game really wants 12 players. If nobody else can take it I’ll probably write either a patch for less folks (and will want input on that), or have a backup set of rules.

I have a 6-player QF that I could possibly run but idk if we’re in the position to have two signups open at once LOL considering the LG hasn’t filled in weeks

I am fully willing to temporarily close Sign-ups and maybe find a newer ruleset that works with lower player counts.

Yeah, I'll lock/hide the thread for LG100 for now, and we'll try to get something else off the ground. @Sart, @Szeth_Pancakes, @DrakeMarshall, and @Stick.  are the active players on top of the QF list. The last non-LG game was a QF, but I'm fine with running another one, just to have something for folks to play. I'm also happy to run my MR rules, but I'd need a minimum of 9 players, and it's a "more the merrier" kinda game anyway. Stick, if nobody ahead of you on the list responds, when do you think you'd be able to post your rules? I'll be happy to IM a QF for whoever runs it.
