Ah. Yeah that's similar to my own set of inferences, just different wording. Guess we're all fairly mindmelded then "Burnt/Coco not E/E" is the inference you disagree with, then. You and most people it seems. I still think we do our due diligence and try to come up with plausible teams without Coco though. 38 minutes ago, Divergent said: @DrakeMarshall If there was an elim between Doc and Mist, who do you think it would be and why? I mean, if v!Burnt, then I think Doc/Most are both evil. If e!Burnt, then I'd choose Doc. I think I've implied as much. 36 minutes ago, Doc12 said: I mean, I knew about the tie mechanic then, pretty sure someone called me out loop 1 when I tried to create a tie and someone - Mist, probably - reminded me that there were no ties in this game. As to tempo, I personally felt that D3s of both loops were fairly low tempo, just because of how many players were still active. L2D3 had Coco kind of leading most of the day. I even tried shaking it up by proposing a counterwagon on Stick, which I suppose Burnt and Archer took me up on end of day. Was that more of the response you expected to see? I'm not arguing per se that Hael is evil, I suppose I was more trying to understand how firm your belief was, when my impression of Hael is that he's here sometimes and has not contributed that much in terms of social reads and all that. And I understand both you and Araris saying not to bank on Coco being evil. If Coco is village, then my solve of Coco/Burnt/Twin/Archer doesn't make sense. I'm just starting my solve from Burnt being evil. Coco being also e! makes the Scents Gambit make sense to me. From that, Twinstorm/Hael is the third, and I'm assuming one in the dead pool, which to me is Archer. Gosh I hope it really is Burnt/Coco/TwinStorm (I'd personally pick Stick as my fourth but that's a sudden death problem) You feel more village right now so that seems like the least objectionable answer but I'm too pessimistic to believe we've actually solved it edit: a bit nervous Burnt only leads by 1 vote and Bremen could mess with it but it's probably fine my vote's already on Burnt anyway Edited March 14 by DrakeMarshall 1
Burnt Spaghetti she/her Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Ah cycles about to end! Quick let me hammer something! --- Cindra was fidgeting. Amora was gone, Thistle wanted to be alone, and she didn't know what to do. How was this fractured team meant to win a fight with whatever thing they had to fight when they were weaker and more stressed than they were when they fought the first one. She was stress snacking. She had intended the snacks to be a ration aid but really she now was just stress snacking. She perked up when she saw Thistle return. Shed found a child? In there? She looked at the food she had packed and sighed. None of this was remotely close to anything seafood related. She had no idea if a Zora would eat anything she had. But didn't hurt to try. She approached them, smiled gently and presented her snack collection, "Hello! I don't know if any of this is stuff you'd normally eat, but if you need a sweet snack to get your energy up please help yourself." 2

Amanuensis he/him Posted March 14 Author Posted March 14 (edited) LG110, Night 2-C: Ghost Ship Night 2-C will end on Saturday, March 14th @ 10:00 PM EST. Wayward Few Quote While Thistle settled the Zora child with Ouae and went to speak with Cindra, the rest of the group spread across the beach. Kieran and Heroshi worked the sand methodically, moving between the abandoned towels and overturned baskets, kicking through debris at the waterline. Most of it told the same story: people had left in a hurry, or hadn't left at all. A half-eaten meal still on a blanket. Sandals with no feet in them. Then Heroshi's eyes caught a splash of color in the sand, and he crouched, and brushed, and found the dark reddish-brown stains underneath — spread wide and already dried into the grain of it. He stood without saying anything and looked further down the beach. Kieran found the arm a few minutes later. It was half-buried under a capsized parasol. He covered it back over and marked the spot in his memory. The Fisherman's Hut was empty of anyone, dead or alive. The Happy Mask Salesman ducked through the low entrance with Ap behind him and took in the room: rods along the wall, nets hung in various states of repair, the smell of brine and old wood and something left on the stove too long. No body. No sign of a struggle. Whatever had happened here, the fisherman had either gone toward it or been taken before he could run. An open journal sat on the workbench. The handwriting was cramped and excited, the recent entries filling margins and running over lines in the way that happens when someone has had a very good day and not enough paper. The short version of it: he had found an old pirate ship submerged beneath the bay — he called it his greatest discovery — and had spent the better part of two weeks quietly looting it. The haul was considerable. He'd been specific about that. "Still got the habit of poking his nose where it doesn't belong, I see," the Happy Mask Salesman said to himself. Ap looked up from the journal. "You knew him?" "Reasonably well." He was already moving to the far wall, running his fingers along a row of mounted lure displays — hand-carved, lacquered, each one labeled in the same cramped script. He pressed the third from the left, which swung out on a hinge to reveal a key hook behind it. One key remained and he took it. Outside he found the Fisherman's vessel; big enough to ferry their entire crew, but not big enough to do so comfortably. In the hidden compartment beneath the dock boards — accessible from inside the hut via a trapdoor disguised as a drain grate — was open and empty, invalidating his need for the key. Whatever loot had been here was now gone. They came back to find the group gathered around Ouae and the small Zora girl, who had finished a bowl of something warm and was watching the water with the careful attention of someone who knew exactly what she was looking for. She introduced herself, eventually, as Lili. Seven years old, she said, though she sat very straight when she said it. She'd been at the beach for the local Festival — the one for people who couldn't make it to Clock Town or didn't want to be packed in with the tourists. The Indigo-Gos had been performing on the water when it happened. The ship had come up from below. Not from the horizon — from below the surface, water cascading off its hull in sheets, the whole thing rising until it cleared the bay and kept rising, lifting into the air above the water, its sails spreading in a wind that wasn't there. It was enormous and it glowed and it wasn't entirely solid, the way a reflection isn't entirely solid. People had started shouting and screaming before it finished rising. At that point, the moon had already begun glaring at them angrily. The pirates moved strangely, swooping through the air as the moonlight flickered through them. They were Gerudo, or had been. She knew what Gerudo looked like. These ones wore the same braided hair and sun-weathered faces, but pale, and cold, and they didn't slow down when things hit them. They took everyone they could catch. The Indigo-Gos first — she thought they'd specifically wanted the Indigo-Gos. Then everyone else. Some people had run and some hadn't. The pirates had gone for the Research Lab too, skimming out across the water toward it. She'd hidden in the Spider House because spiders seemed less scary. It seemed to keep her alive after the first few frights failed to kill her. They'd taken the prisoners to the fortress along the coast. She pointed. In the fading light it was visible as a dark mass against the water, angular, built into the rockface where the bay curved north. When she finished, she went back to watching the water. The boat was moored around the back of the hut, a broad-hulled fishing vessel built for bay water and loaded with enough deck space to carry a crowd if they didn't mind standing. Ap put the Goron Mask on, and Link the Goron and Gor Elam took positions alongside her, and between the three of them they pushed it off the shingle and into the shallows in one sustained shove that left clear furrows in the wet sand. By the time it was rigged and loaded, the sun was sitting on the horizon. The question went around the boat without anyone quite asking it directly. The fortress was close — the prisoners might still be inside, the Indigo-Gos among them. The Research Lab light was still pulsing, which meant something was still on, which might mean someone was still alive in there. Lili hadn't been to Zora Hall in two days and had no way to know if it was safe. And the Great Bay Temple sat somewhere beneath the water with Gyorg's Mask inside it. "I want to be honest with you," the Happy Mask Salesman said. He was standing at the prow with his canvas bag at his feet, looking at the fortress, then at the lab, then at the open water. "Everything you're considering is reasonable. The prisoners are real people. The scientists may be alive. Lili should be somewhere safe. All of that is true." He looked at them. "It is also true that I stood in a shop in Clock Town and asked you to hold all of it loosely. That every choice we make here that isn't the temple is a choice that gives Majora more time." He paused. "I'm not telling you what to decide. I'm reminding you of what we agreed before coming here." Lili had been watching the fortress. She pulled on Ouae's sleeve and pointed. The Ghost Ship rose from behind the fortress walls the same way she'd described — slow, vast, lit from within — and it didn't stop rising until it was above the clifftops. Then it moved, heading northwest along the coast in the direction of Zora Hall and the temple beyond. Its wake disturbed nothing. Its sails filled with nothing. It grew smaller against the darkening sky until it was just a pale smear of light over the water. The fortress sat dark and quiet behind it. No one spoke for a moment. The last sliver of sun went under the horizon. The bay went grey. Above them the first stars appeared in the small window of sky that the moon had not yet consumed. Everyone on board that Burnt is Elim? yes. and could we please get on board with e!Coco? even disregarding the vote to save burnt, we have burnt's n2b scan as coco and we had coco testing waters on Mistfallen train when the fake-scan was revealed without really committing, to see if we would believe it or not. so v!Mistfallen, v!Doc? leaves us 3/4 in [Coco, Burnt, Hael, TwinStorm] -> 2/3 in [Coco, Hael, TwinStorm] I think I am still quite wary about v-reading Doc but hmm, I am leaning more village than not I guess. I feel bad about exe-ing Hael next cycle to 'ensure' we win the cycle, I really do not want to do it. I don't know, perhaps I'll sleep on it. There's always Archer xD NOTE: we need to be wary of a lack of kill if the elims have already lost the cycle. could be used to frame someone or us wrongly assuming that bremen block actually blocked the elim kill.

Yeah, my current opinion for the Elim team is Coco/Burnt/Twin and probably Stick. I do think exeing Hael is the best option(to make sure we win the loop) if we do win, I’m of the opinion that we should just exe the same people as this loop and then hit Burnt for tiebreaker. and yeah, they’ll probably do some stuff to mess with us 1 minute ago, Burnt Spaghetti said: Oops. My first priority tomorrow is figuring out if I think you're evil Your dead doc commentary included Burnt on the e team, but you were part of us exing Coco and provided the math to make us think Burnt couldn't afford Stone. Araris keeps hanging around in a way that's pinging me, but we'll digest that afterwards. I've got to figure out if we're hard committed to v!Coco {edit:E Coco is what I meant} now, but there's always the chance of a blocked NK, so we can get away with killing only one elim 5 minutes ago, Burnt Spaghetti said: Oops.
