Here we are….

My first Shardiversary.

Its hard to believe this is my first…

I feel like I’ve known each of you for my entire life. And because of that, I will be tagging every single person on my follow list and maybe a few more because I value each of you personally. But first let me start off by saying a few things about myself.

Hi. My name is Panda. Some of you may know me as Madam President/Shardsock/Chuck wrangler/that-one-crazy-person/etc. but no matter my name there is so much to me. 
 

Part of the thing I love about the shard is its open and loving community, and because of that community I have found out a lot about myself, gotten advice, made some amazing friends, and spent my time smiling more than frowning. This year has been an absolute roller coaster. My dog died this year, I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression, I nearly lost my friendship with several of my closest friends, my relationship with my parents is broken, and I had to go the ER to get stitches because I cut my wrist open in an act of self harm…. And that’s just a few things.

And if I just focused on that I would be miserable.

But I’m not. 
 

because there is also:

The founding of the Hunger Games

The introduction to the shard

the meeting of one of my closest friends here

the late night talks with so many of you 

the comfort through all the pain

the joy during the boring school days

and so so so much more.

The shard has brought me light in ways I don’t even know. 
 

So thank you. Thank you for that.

@2EmLee2 I can’t say I’ve seen you very much, but from what I have you are a fun loving silly person and I value that in a person because that’s who I try to be. So thanks for being that, you are a light to a dark world.

@Aeoryi we’ve certainly had our ups and downs, but I have to say that you make the hunger games a wild ride. From the start to the finish you give the hunger games that special finish of chaos and it makes it so much better. Thank you for sharing that fun loving spirit of yours.

@Aeternum I know you’ve been gone a lot, but thanks for being another crazy fun person on the shard I get to look forward to every time I log on.

@Anguished_One OH MY GOSH WHERE TO START- I’m about to write a three thousand page essay here for you… actually… this will suffice:

“I’m just the resident creepy person who kidnaps children.”

“I am one with the hamsters, we share saliva and food.”

“I first met you in your basement.”

“Not that window- okay he can just die in there.”

“I’m such a nice person.” 

“Pants are just so delicious- i mean amazing.”

“Decapitation is man’s best friend.”

“Albert’s legs are really crunchy.”

“Albert is now flat as a pancake and just as delicious.”

“Abuse it and you’ll lose it.”

“Every problem can be solved by patting the right person on the right head at the right time, but not the left head that’s how you get eaten.”

“It’s not child abuse if it’s a high five.” 
 

Thanks for all the crazy quotes, the late night calls, taking care of me when nobody else will, and ultimately thank you for being an awesome friend. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. (Also tell your mom I love her hehe)

@Canada Lover thanks for starting a cult about a world hopping ferret, being one of the silliest people I know, and being such a fun person. I wish you were still here to continue to rp with us, but if you see this you’ll be happy to know Merp is still in the games and always will be.
