  1. Resonance from Breaths is still unconfirmed afaik. As for already having perfect pitch via talent and/or practice and then reaching the Second Heightening, there's the general health & well-being benefits from having accumulated so many Breaths (or Investiture in general) and increased lifespan. Perfect Pitch granted via the Second Heightening would be more precise, I think, rather than a matter of a trained ear, it would become easy & instinctual. You mean this: Aside from that, there are also these WoBs:
  2. Good work, xp!
  3. I really liked the name Ultima Thule a lot better!
  4. Okay, I have to say, these are all pretty great Can you do a Shade touching someone, rotting their body?
  5. Granted, you have an unending supply of perfectly fresh, perfectly delicious Morrel mushrooms, and you receive no bane that would prevent you from eating them. In fact, you get an extra boon to help you eat an unending supply of Morrel mushrooms: unending hunger I wish for a very cushy job, that isn't too demanding, with a nice salary and retirement package
  6. As far as we know, no, that's not the case, and being born with a BioChromatic Breath is a thing for Nalthians only. Maybe in the future when the various cultures of the Cosmere mix, people born outside of Nalthis would be born with Breaths. Also note that non-Nalthians can receive Breath, as we see with Hoid. Other Cosmere peoples have innate Investiture too, something they call spark-of-life. But that isn't Breath.
  7. *Raises hand* And honestly, I always liked the American accent better anyways.
  8. Granted! You have become Galactus, Devourer of Worlds! I wish for a pizza, with mushroom topping

    Unique Spren

I don't think unique spren are such rare things, though they're not common by any means. Unique spren like Cusicesh are one step below "godspren" or Bondsmith spren in power, so they're still special but not at the level of the Stormfather, the Nightwatcher, the Sibling or any of the Unmade, I think. We do hear of another unique spren from Nazh in his map of Shadesmar, in OB, a spren called Smolderbrand, iirc.
  13. Mind you, it's only a theory, but that's what I think. As for what will happen to the Bond if they are brought into the Physical... I don't know Odium might've just been stingy with his Investiture or the situation back before the Desolations and the Heraldic Epochs might've been complicated enough that this strategy was better for Odium and/or the Fused. We know so little of that time even after RoW Well, as we see with the Listeners, the Singers in question don't need to be well-informed about what exactly they're agreeing to, they just need to agree I know right? Well, there's this fic if you're interested: https://archiveofourown.org/works/20694752/chapters/49156421 Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean here? Btw, you can just quote multiple posts by clicking the "+" right beside "Quote"
  14. Well, we see in Secret History that people with mental illnesses also have that crack in their minds which allows them to be influenced by beings in the Cognitive & Spiritual Realm. So, Wayne might indeed be hearing real voices, no spiking necessary.
  15. Ohohoho, I forgot about that Nice
  16. Ooh, Nicrosil compounders would be terrifying in space age Cosmere! Now if Harmony started creating Lerasium again... that would be even better
  17. Yeah, Preservation would've been completely fine with a completely stagnant and unmoving world (was already halfway there with Rashek's Final Empire from what we see of him in Secret History) For Endowment, I'll word it as "Give, give, give, keep giving till you have nothing left"
  18. All the WoBs about it refer to the Kandra's own spikes and not new spikes
  19. Not immune, just resistant. Given how bronze Allomancers can hear the Rhythms, I wonder if copper might also interact with the Rhythms (directly, I mean, not just in the sense that all Allomancers, and other magic users for that matter, give off a certain pulse or Rhythm. Copperclouds do hide pulses/Rhythms given off by Allomancers, as well as probably other magic users, somehow). Given that Rhythms seem to correspond to emotions (and indeed Rioters and Soothers might also manipulate emotions via the Rhythms), interference between the copper & emotional Allomancy seems quite plausible. Copperclouds should be able to interact with other magic systems too, beyond the Singers and spren's natural Invested abilities, but the interference should still be minimal, I think and not an effective counter. I think Copperclouds might act as a Rhythm scrambler, or rather encryptor.
  20. I don't think we know the answer to this one yet. It might depend on the amount of aluminium in the alloys in question. It might depend on how different the molecular structure of pure aluminium is compared to the alloy.
  21. Depends on what the Hemalurgic spike is storing, they do not have a fixed amount of Investiture (minus lowest possible Investiture level after Hemalurgic decay) so it really depends on who you spiked. If the spike stole enough Investiture, then it could conceivably block a Shardblade.
  22. Some confusion in the answers here, I feel like I should help clarify. TenSoon could use OreSeur's Blessings but he did not replace his own Blessings with those of OreSeur's. He just added them to the Blessings he already had. ReLuur, on the other hand, was missing one of his spikes. TenSoon attempted to give him one of his extras but ReLuur rejected it and spat it out as it was another Kandra's spike, not his own. (P.S. Blessings refers to Kandra spikes, of which they need two. A pair of Blessings imparts an ability to the Kandra, which are also referred to as a Blessing (of Potency, of Presence, etc.). What ability a Kandra gets depends on the metal of the spikes they receive.) If you take out a Kandra's Blessings and give them new Blessings, you do not get the old Kandra back. You get a new Kandra. It's a bit of an existential question, I feel, who are we divested of all our memories, experiences, frames of reference? Is a blank slate wiped clean still really the same person? The answer should depend on the person's theological beliefs, I think.
  23. Yeah he did take a rubbing of the whole text but the OP is wondering why we never got to see the how Ruin altered this part of the text, as this is rather pivotal, and wondering if Ruin just deleted this entire section.
  24. I don't remember any mention in-text of such a limit and can't find any WoB on it either. Regardless, you need to have some existing amount of attribute stored already in your metalmind to be able to tap it. You should be able to store and tap at the same time as long as you already have some gas in the tank, so to speak. Still not a viable strategy, I think, as in the hypothetical situation where it is possible, the draw from tapping would be larger than the ongoing storage, and the tapped attribute would be weaker because of the ongoing storage. Plus if it were a viable method, someone would've discovered it and would've disseminated it within the Synod.
  25. Iirc, you cannot store Feruchemical attributes to the point that you're basically completely devoid of said attribute while storing. Your vision will deteriorate while you're storing eyesight, but you cannot store at a rate that you're struck (temporarily) blind. I think Sazed mentions something like this, but I could be misremembering. If that's true, then it stands to reason that storing youthfulness would also have that limit built in so you can't store youthfulness to the point that you completely annihilate your lifespan.
