  1. Ah, I see, thank you 1080
  2. Oh yeah, I forgot about the green association! But how come they're all in the same style? Did you all get them done by the same artist? 1078
  3. I think you're probably right. Yeah, if you don't know that certain limitations to the magic system have been cut, due to perception, the magic would conform to how you expect it to behave, we do see an example of this in Stormlight Stormlight spoilers, no RoW or Dawnshard
  4. Nope! Final clue! 1) This character often acted as a confidant to important people 2) This character has some physical trait that serves as distinctive to the reader 3) This character had caused considerable grief to a Point-of-View character 4) This character is something of a rebel 5) This character is associated with a body part
  5. @Chinkoln, @Mist, @Vapor, @Willshaper-Kalak, @Anarchy, what's up with the pfp? They're all in the same style? 1073
  6. But Nightblood eats Investiture, why would that be then?
  7. No to all of them! 1) This character often acted as a confidant to important people 2) This character has some physical trait that serves as distinctive to the reader 3) This character had caused considerable grief to a Point-of-View character 4) This character is something of a rebel
  8. Good guess! But no, it's not him
  9. There have been a few non major PoV characters, like Cenn or Palona, their names had so far always been written on the list preceding the part of the book.
  10. The Shard's Intent can be interpreted by its Vessel and might not reflect its exact nature, definitely true. Rayse seemed to think of Odium as Passion, I think Dalinar interpreted Honor as Unity in Oathbringer, Navani interprets Honor and Cultivation's Intents from the feeling of their tone & rhythm "the boundless energy of Cultivation, always growing and changing, and the calm solidity of Honor - organized, structured. They vibrated together. Structure and nature. Knowledge and wonder. Mixing. The song of science itself." The name, Harmony as Sazed came to be called or chose to be called, and Discord, as Presentation predicted the combined Intent of himself & Ruin, I think are really just named after what Navani experienced with the Rhythms of the Gods and does not reflect the mixed Intent itself. The Intent might be too strange to really understand for Sazed, as of now.
  11. It was one my favourites in the Cosmere too! Up there with Hero of Ages ending.
  12. I pointed this out before in the part 5 reaction thread iirc, but Adin has a PoV in that section, despite his name not being listed in the... part 5 cover page? section header? I don't know what to call it. There are two groups listed as PoV characters there though: Bridge Four & Knights Radiant. Characters like Cenn did have their names mentioned in that section, so assuming this wasn't a mistake, it might mean that little Adin might grow up to become a Knight Radiant, perhaps a Windrunner after the man he so admires. Found it: scroll down a bit and you'll find a pic of the part 5 cover page/section header/PoV lister thingy

  15. He isn't that obscure, he stabbed a PoV main character! And really introduced us to the evil overlord character, Wulfden. 1) This character often acted as a confidant to important people
  16. Now that's an idea... I don't really know how publishing works but this sounds tempting
  17. Dalinar having the Unity Dawnshard or at least interacting with it, hmm. I still think it's more likely that Unity is his interpretation of Honor's Intent, but even back then people were speculating on the possibility of there being more to it, now that we know about Dawnshards, it seems like a pretty good fit. Roshar seemed to have had more than a single Dawnshard, one of them was not like the rest, one them could bind all creatures mortal or Void-ish, this does not seem to fit the Change Dawnshard we see in the novella. Survive Command (assuming it was a capital-C Command) was given by Preservation. There is also the thing in Secret History about a weapon that he buried that you can find in other discussions. Again, seems more likely to be an interpretation of Preservation's Intent but again, I'm open to the idea of it possibly being a Dawnshard.
  18. Just venting, mate, and not pointing at Brandon specifically. Brandon's actually come a lot far (I think the Arcanum has all of that recorded, so you can see his views evolve). If you've read the topic I do talk about how what has been done so far with the LGBT characters hasn't been handled all that well.
  19. Someday, maybe. I don't exactly live in the parts of the world that are accepting of homosexuality, y'know, so... that's going to be very difficult and even attempting to do that will affect my life hard.
  20. It's kind of the same with the Parshendi genders & sexual identity
