  1. Good point. I just remembered, in Secret History, Kelsier swallowed a screw & then gagged it back up after realizing he couldn't burn it, not having a Physical body and all, so I was thinking, it could be that they just do something like that. Assuming they don't just see the inside of their mouth as "inside enough", not knowing how perception plays a part in what exactly constitutes as "inside" for Allomancy, they might just train their children to throw up (no cursed comparisons, plz) ingested metals.
  2. Nah, let someone else do the next one
  3. It's been a day, so sure! It's Allriandre, the girl from The Roughs whose father Wayne accidentally killed, and whose studies he's funding in the Elendel University. He went to her personally, to deliver the money because he thought he deserved to personally bear her hatred.
  4. They're agender. And their body kind of is the Tower. The Sibling themselves won't care what you call them, they don't have a biological gender... they don't even have a biological body to begin with. My mother tongue doesn't have grammatical gender, though most other languages in my country do, as does English & most European languages and apparently Vorin languages as well. Outside of my mother tongue, the other languages I know tend to to focus on the object's grammatical gender rather than the gender of the subject person. So I'm not getting any grammaratzi urges. And I'm gay so I kinda sympathize. This isn't just a matter of the Sibling, there are people who identify as agender. Asking which gender you imagine an agender character being seems quite inconsiderate. I don't like the idea of using "it" for any non-binary people. "It" is not used to refer to people, to do so seems very disrespectful. What something could mean in an ideal world and what it does mean are two very different things, so I'm really uncomfortable with this we should use "it" discussion. Non binary and trans people very specifically prefer to be called specific pronouns: "they" or specific pronouns coined by the community/gender they belong to. Wishing to call them by a different pronoun despite knowing that... You all are just saying these things with no consideration and complaining about LGBT people being prickly at the same time, seriously?
  5. Oh that is a good one, but still not the correct answer!
  6. Not bad, not bad, but not the answer I'm looking for
  7. Nope to both! Here are the clues again: 1) This character hates a main character 2) This character has a main character as a guardian 3) This character has a family member who was killed by a main character 4) The main character whom this character hates does not hate them back 5) the main character mentioned in the above clues are all the same character
  8. oh, yes! and good guess! but no, I'm afraid it isn't Sadeas either
  9. Nope! Did Navani ever hate a main character?
  10. That's an interesting phrasing and something I never really thought about! Are you suggesting the Invested Arts would be a discrete object in the Spiritual Realm and not just a pattern that tends to arise via interaction between the Spiritwebs of the magic users, Investiture from the Shard(s) and the Shardworld(s)? Oh, and here's an older topic you might find interesting: Good point on BioChromatic Breath remaining with the person for a long time, compared to Investiture like the Lights (usually) or the Investiture tapped from metals in Allomancy. Hmm... Magics from the Dor seem to fall in both categories, Elantrians are suffused with Investiture, as are Dakhor, but not Forgers. Hemalurgy can let you specifically target someone's mental fortitude but does stealing a lot of attributes from the same or similar person affect a Hemalurgist? Plus, they get holes in their Spiritweb & Cognition. Huh, wonder how Feruchemy falls into this.
  11. Nope 1) This character hates a main character 2) This character has a main character as a guardian 3) This character has a family member who was killed by a main character 4) The main character whom this character hates does not hate them back 5) the main character mentioned in the above clues are all the same character
  12. *excited unholy screeching noises* How long has it been? So happy that we'll finally be getting back to Mistborn. Hopefully we get to see some bits of the rest of Scadrial, especially the Southern continent! Ugh, what I wouldn't give to see some exploration & settlement of uninhabited landmasses of Scadrial! Given that Atium was referred to as "the lost metal" in-world, I'm assuming the title referred to them, but Lerasium would be even more intriguing! I'd be happy to see Ettmetal/Harmonium too. The Set & the invading Shard & their Faceless Immortals plotline would probably be for the next era, as per initial plans, but I still look forward to what cliffhanger Brandon writes for the conclusion of this era!
  13. Nope 1) This character hates a main character 2) This character has a main character as a guardian 3) This character has a family member who was killed by a main character 4) The main character whom this character hates does not hate them back
  14. pretty solid guesses there, but nope to all three 3) This character has a family member who was killed by a main character
  15. First clues often aren't 2) This character has a main character as a guardian
  16. 1) This character hates a main character
  17. Do you mean *their father? The Stormfather? Are you referring to God or something? Wait! Do you mean Patji, the Father!? It's Sixth of the Dusk!
  18. Ah! They look adorable, especially the Lifeless. You should put your Instagram address on your Shard profile if you post Cosmere art there!
  19. At first, I didn't notice the sideburns & thought it was Vin, lol I know "Pawnz" but what is "Spawnz"?
