  1. They couldn't keep Jezrien away from the Beyond, so probably not.
  2. Scadrial has some shenanigans happening that allow for it. I'm going to spoiler tag this because I don't remember if this is knowledge from SH or not and if it where it was, and my copy is currently loaned out so I can't check.
  3. It's probably this one:
  4. Moongate. Now I need it to happen, just for that.
  5. Returned beach volleyball.
  6. There is every potential for it to be both. The mechanics of Cultivation's meddling are unclear, especially with that, and especially given that she was apparently grooming him to potentially Ascend to Odium. That split may have been a way to specifically separate T from the Shard's insidious Intent, so there'd always be some part of him separate from just being Odium. I'm looking forward to seeing how deep it runs still.
  7. He's from Scadrial. Worked for House Venture, Elend addressed him by name at one point. I was trying not to list them all to help contribute to the journey of discovery, but now I'm blameless woo!
  8. Galladon from Elantris was on-screen in one of the Interludes, alongside a character from White Sand and another from Era 1 Mistborn. Roshar is absolutely full of worldhoppers. There's one in Dalinar's inner circle of advisors, even. It's pretty insane.
  9. It's the prime of life according to the person in question. Allmother is also stockier than most of the other Returned, presumably for similar reasons. If I had a guess, Allmother valued the mental side of things more than the physical, so her body aged to when her mind had the most information in it to match that.
  10. I think Wax said none of them openly had Allomantic abilities, but that didn't mean much since there was no small amount of people that would just keep their abilities secret. Personally, I think it's both. If they found any Allomancers among the kidnapped ladies, instant spikes available, but if they play the long game, they can breed a renewable source of spiked abilities.
  11. I'm thinking at least some of it will focus around the time she spent as a kid locked into a sanitorium room or wherever that was, since she mentioned that at least once and it definitely seems to be a defining thing for her life.
  12. Yes, Brandon was very insistent that while reading the novellas would enhance the reading of Cytonic, it wasn't strictly necessary.
  13. Cusicesh is not as unmade as far as we know. There's a theory that it is actually Dai-Gonarthis, but from what we know of that particular Unmade (assuming it actually was involved in the Scouring of Aimia), Cusicesh's light draining sensation seems a lot lighter than what it would be doing if it was actually the Black Fisher.
  14. Could be from that one conversation in BoM.
  15. Idk, you could teach a circle of raccoons to pet each other and it would be pretty funny
  16. Sometimes I want a cat. Sometimes I want a dog. Sometimes I want a fish, or a ferret. All pets are lovable.
  17. They're a fun read if nothing else.
  18. The Cradle series by Will Wight if you want a little bit less epic fantasy and a little bit more magic martial arts.
  19. That's a bad idea. I'm not particularly fond of a few of the middle books, but they still had elements that played into later developments that were important to be set up. Just power through it.
  20. Provided whatever influence is keeping Hoid from hurting actual people isn't an issue, the fight would end in about half a second in his favor. If he can't harm Kelsier at all, the fight probably ends whenever one of them gets tired of getting injured and healing (on Hoid's part) or trying to kill someone only to have them laugh off everything you can do (on Kelsier's part). Even in the second scenario, I think Hoid would probably win. Centuries of determination about being the most annoying person in the room would pay dividends.
  21. If that was the case, then the more Investiture a person had the more obvious their resonance would be, but that's not the case. I think it's more that Radiant powers are more external than Twinborn equivalents tend to be. Some of it might also be that most Radiants pull from Stormlight to power their thing, a very energetic source, compared to Preservation's presumably more placid pool of power. Of course I may just be dumb and completely wrong about all of this.
  22. Depending on what they wanted to do with it, a Stoneward could use their Surge(s) to make it basically armor. But I'm with Frustration here, Aons are probably the best bet.
  23. Well that's unfortunate. I was hoping Invention was also going to be a dragon. Mostly so I could joke about them hoarding knowledge instead of gold.
  24. I think he wants his Dawnshard back.
  25. Ah, my bad, I misunderstood. Yeah it might be a progression of that.
