If you're gonna have pineapple on pizza, the entire rest of the pizza better be built to compliment the flavor. Like Hawaiian pizzas. That's good, pineapple included, but it just doesn't work for most pizza forms.

Reminds me of the Korra "everstorm" thing.

Personally, I think it's the first one by way of the third one. Copies the memory, lets the Feruchemist restore the original with bits of the copy then allows for the copy to either be stored for restoration of other portions (if there's anything left) or just fade away with the rest of the Allomantic power. Of course there's a very real chance I'm entirely wrong and copper lies along some axis of shenanigans within the Metallic Arts and crosses into some other territory of hilarity.

Allow me to be the first one on this post to give you a resounding RAFO. I will say you're asking the right questions, though.

There is no true confirmation of that that I can find. Personally, I'm pretty sure it's just because she's in the middle of maturing emotionally, but it's also possible for it to stick.

Kandra genders are based primarily on scent, and each kandra apparently has some form of innate sense as to which scent-gender-sex they are attracted to. But also, apparently most kandra explore all sides of human gender and can individually select which gender they present as via scent to other kandra as well, including mixes and a completely null scent. (WOBs in the spoilers so people don't think I'm pulling this out of my ear)

Agreed, if I ended up on Roshar at all, I'd like to live in the Purelake. -

Golden eagle for my money. -
The going theory for that is Cultivation's influence a la either direct action or Old Magic.

Shardplate requires a lot of power, so they're more likely to pull the amounts necessary to break a gemstone. Soulcasting large things cracks those gems as well, but Soulcasters don't seem like they'd be stressed to that level as frequently as Plate is. I do think the structure of the metal has something to do with it being more resilient than gemstones are. The molecular structure of the metal is the key that allows for access to the storage for Feruchemy or channels the Investiture for Allomancy, which seems to imply for me that the Investiture works more with the metal than against. Like putting a net in water versus a solid sheet of something.

Sazed said he had a care routine for his metalminds, and at one point in one of the era 1 books (might be HoA? I haven't done a reread in a while), I think Vin walks in on him polishing and sorting them. So clearly there's some kind of care routine happening at least for Sazed, but Wax may not do that for his bracers. They're iron, not a particularly valuable metal, and he's rich. He may just not care for them, or maybe he makes his butler do it.

"You did this without access to Fortune, or the Spiritual Realm?"

I got lucky on today's. I'd been hitting the random article button on the Coppermind last night and that one stuck in my head for some reason so I used it as a starting place. Very satisfying coincidence, though.

I have to go Wayne, but Steris is in close second just because she's the best.

I believe we had some form of confirmation that that was the Investiture of Cultivation's perpendicularity interacting with the singer blood the Horneaters (and Herdazians, and to some extent Vedens) possess, but I can't find it anymore.
