Syl can has been using Adhesion since the beginning (and apparently that's the kind of thing windspren in general do a lot, since their reputation is for sticking things together for shenanigans), so unless it would send that to another level, I don't think they'd necessarily need a 5th Ideal Radiant to pull that kind of thing. But my record on predicting these things is very bad, so don't take my word for it.

Recommended Order for Re-Reading
Invocation replied to sugjesstive's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Here! You're actually in the place that's authorized to distribute it. -
They do, at least per what happened in Shadows of Self.

Yo how did I miss that? I appreciate the new bit of info. Now I don't have to regret the extra wait to find out definitively who Trell is.

If Odium were to kill the Nightwatcher, I'm pretty sure the Old Magic would stay in place. They don't seem to be things that would require constant upkeep from her. Kind of like Hemalurgy, except without a spike to be removed to return the subject to their normal point. If they were constantly monitored, I don't think it would be possible to steal the Old Magic with Hemalurgy, which was said to be possible. But just in general, it would be a really bad idea for Odium to mess with her at all. There's something other than boons and banes that Cultivation's magic can do (per a WOB), which right now is not happening at all. If Cultivation lost the Nightwatcher, she'd probably open those floodgates, not to mention the instant and undying hatred from every cultivationspren ever, even more than already. Really just not a good idea.

Yeah I don't think we're getting an answer for this one, sadly. I'm dying to know, but apparently that's more of an Era 3 thing.

Recommended Order for Re-Reading
Invocation replied to sugjesstive's topic in General Brandon Discussion
There are some segments of it on Brandon's website. WoK Prime is decently interesting, so it's worth a read. Lots of theorization potential in there Personally, when I do rereads, I do it in this order (more or less): Mistborn Era 1 Elantris White Sand Warbreaker Stormlight including their Novellas Mistborn Era 2 Arcanum Unbounded + that one SotD 2 reading Aether of Night (also noncanon, it's just a fun read) You don't have to do it like that, it's just my order, but it's pretty fun to hope worlds around like that. -

I don't think it's ever specified, but I haven't read Reckoners in a while, so take that with a grain of salt.

Is there a sorting hat style quiz for Knight Radiant orders?
Invocation replied to Vin(Diesel)'s topic in Stormlight Archive
It's especially practical here. There's a reason we're the most populous order on this site, at least if the poll from this thread has any truth to it.- 25 replies

Did the Highstorm and Everstorm ever clash again?
Invocation replied to Nesh's topic in Stormlight Archive
I'm pretty sure I recall it being mentioned somewhere (I'll update with the quote if I can find it) that the other times there haven't been any more reported clashes over land. Edit: found it. Oathbringer page 382 by the count of the kindle copy I'm using. -

How long until it counts as necromancy?
Invocation replied to Robin Sedai's topic in 17th Shard Discussion
I'm pretty sure it's less of a time thing and more of a new evidence thing. Like if there's been something new, some new WOB or something, that relates to the thread's contents, reviving discussion is alright. -

Will Rysn ever be able to use the Dawnshard?
Invocation replied to Vin(Diesel)'s question in Cosmere Q&A
I think the going theory is she needs some form of active Investiture ability to make full use out of it, which is why the Sleepless were so adamant that she doesn't bond a spren, but in the meantime it'll just be like passively having Breaths.- 4 replies

As cool as that would have been, Nightblood's Ruinous Investiture (because there is some of that happening, per a WOB that appears to have been literally back-to-back with the one above) comes from somewhere else. For what it's worth, it would have been pretty cool for Nightblood to be atium.

My money is on sink it, just because I want the reveal of Jasnah using him for cosmere information to see how he'd react. Also it just generally feels a little weird.

Personally my money is on her at least partially manipulating them for information. She's been plumbing Wit the whole time they've been together, indulging him to get what she wants (knowledge of the cosmere) and is doing so very successfully.

It's Ruin's magic system. He's got some leeway with it, like with how Preservation altered Allomancy for Era 1. There may also have been a factor of the pressure being applied to the stabber let Ruin influence him subconsciously just enough to push him over the edge and hit the bindpoint right.
