Illwei Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 so uh I don't wanna kill archer, but I also don't remember my reasoning for Elandera besides them not being town for reasons Archer thinks. I like Archer, I wanna keep him around. I'm thinking Somebody
Araris Valerian he/him Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Experience. While recognizing that I have a strong bias on the subject of votes, I an not inclined to find Archer suspicious, and instead would prefer to lynch SfS. In particular, I would say that the recent streak of elim wins has been due to lower voting activity from villagers (this si coming from someone who used the lack of village votes in the last 2 games to pull out an elim win). I also am not a fan of the lynch on Elandera, although maybe I just don't understand it. 21 hours ago, Somebody from Sel said: I disagree with the push to vote, I think Gears is once again getting sus for no/a bad reason. Illwei is pretty cleared die to the reasons pointed out by the above. I will vote for Vapor for inactivity reasons. This is the post that rubs me wrong. An overly hasty clear of Illwei and a disagreement with lots of voting. The vote on Vapor is also pointless. Ninja'd by Illwei.

Archer he/him Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Crasher held out a small radio to Sal Cómin. It flickered between channels for a moment, playing static, before settling into the opening chords of a popular Queen song. 'Caaaaaan AN-Y-BODY... find meeee... somebody toooooo loveeee?' As the opening piano bit played, Crasher shook his head. "Nothing personal, mate. I just don't feel like dying right now." 4
Straw he/him Posted December 8, 2020 Author Posted December 8, 2020 Sal Cómin was walking along when one of the other epics ran up to them and started playing some song on the radio. While Sal stared in confusion, they failed to notice the large crowd of other epics sneaking up on them with obsidian daggers. Before Sal knew what was happening, they had been stabbed to death. Somebody from Sel has died! He was a Lesser Epic. dannnex male Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Hello! I’ve gotta read through the cycles so far, so don’t expect a ton out of me immediately.
Experience he/him Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 I think that one of the ladder voters on Somebody are most likely an elim, so I'm voting Archer. They claimed they were voting on somebody in order to not die, but it was 4-3 on somebody already.

Illwei Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 (edited) Vapor, you agree that you look suspicious because you jumped on SfS? EDIT: I'm going to try to do some looking through the threads and come back in a bit with my conclusions, if i have any. Edited December 8, 2020 by Ooklil' the Wei

Archer he/him Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Crasher looked down at the dead body in front of him. "Wow, you all really just stabbed him in the back, huh. I guess he never... Sal it Cómin." Welcome, Dannex! I'm gonna guess Dannex is safe because no elim would abandon the chance to play elim. 18 minutes ago, Ookla the Shadowed said: I think that one of the ladder voters on Somebody are most likely an elim, so I'm voting Archer. I was worried someone would switch at last minute, so I wanted to be sure. Voting for someone else risked angering them and having them switch to me. So I band-wagoned so I'd have a vote in. Because as I always say, it's important to vote. Even I think the Vapor vote looked suspicious, and they defended me. People who come in at last minute and throw in important votes without long explanations seem suspicious. Which is why I am voting Experience for now. Their reasoning has been shallow so far. Let's look at why Vapour might have done cast their vote when and how they did. Maybe we're both elim and he was protecting me. If so, it was likely opportunist. Maybe they wanted to avoid being active without voting, so they just hopped on a bandwagon. If so, they chose not to railroad me or Elandera. Maybe they really thought Somebody was an elim. Maybe they trusted I am a villager and wanted to avoid my lynching. Maybe they're elim and wanted to pocket me. Vapor, would you like to commit to one of those options?

Condensation she/her Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 So... we're having a little bit of a hard time. That's all right! I think the elims might be controlling the vote, but it's certainly not for sure. They could be inactive and we're just idiots. However, I'd prefer if it were the first one. Wouldn't you? So because the elims don't have a kill(I just checked) then we have no concrete way of knowing if they're inactive or not.
Illwei Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 (edited) @Straw couple questions: Do the reckoners need to outnumber the Epics or do they need Parity? I was originally assuming Parity but then there's the chance that, say they ignite to get to 2-2, village votes out a reckoner via...rng..., 2-1, there's the option that you vote out a reckoner again then it's 1-0 if they ignite. of course...doubt they'd do that if they couldn't win on it lol. Can they ignite and douse on the same cycle? because I guess then Parity would be a win...because they could douse/ignite on the same cycle, and I guess then...well, best case scenario everyone dies? idk Edited December 9, 2020 by Ooklil' the Wei

Your goal is to have more living players than the Lesser Epics. Quote You can choose whether you enact your plans before or after researching that cycle's target. So yes it's outnumber, not parity, and yes they can ignite and douse on the same cycle.
