  1. Apologies for my absence so far. Are we going to assume now that the meta-slims are going for a village win? We have 2-3 pseudo-elims left, I’d assume. I guess coco makes the most sense to exe here for being made a Coinshot when the meta-elims may have thought that there was no pseudo-whatever role can see roles. I don’t think coco’s flip will tell us too much though. As for meta-elims, Versace is locked in pretty hard, and I’d prefer to exe him first. We don’t want any outed elite left alive when we win the bet, since we could “learn” their identity. There’s also a small chance that Verdance has just been lying as a villager this whole time, and we don’t want to build any speculation on a faulty foundation. I guess I’m kinda skeptical about Kit Kat and Striker being elims, especially with Myst flipping village. If Kit Kat’s manip could have stopped Myst’s exe on its own I’d say that looks bad, but Striker also needed to swap his vote to enable that option, and I doubt the elims would out two of their members just to delay an exe by one turn. So I’m leaning towards “village misplay” for these two rather than elim. I’d agree that Kit Kat is the more suspicious of the two by a decent margin though, since vote manipulation is private.
  2. Well, getting exed isn't quite as bad in this game because you can keep talking (and if you flip village, folks will know you aren't lying once that happens). I can see myself in the same boat if enough folks were convinced of my elimness that I would be a center of attention every cycle until I died.
  3. I’m fairly sure my joke/gambit against Verdance is largely to blame for that. It is what it is. Myst
  4. (Removed the ping) Xino hasn't posted for a full 3 turns.
  5. Your opposition to exeing Myst last cycle.
  6. Honestly, I don't really know. I think Hoid is my current favorite exe candidate due to his vote last cycle. I'm also generally wary of distro guessing, especially in a game as weird as this. That is, there could easily be 2 village GMs (probably not 2 elim ones though). I think we have some incentive to drag out the pseudogame while we accumulate flips in the metagame, since we can then take the metaflips and get a better idea of what the bet is, based on the actions anyone who flips meta-elim has taken.
  7. Well, Striker switching his vote is a big part of you not getting exed. I wouldn’t be surprised if Verdance’s claim to have scanned Striker is just an attempt at distancing.
  8. Verdance is already pseudodead.
  9. I wouldn’t believe any scan from Verdance, green or red, unless he flipped green afterward. I find 2 village roleplayers to be fairly unlikely unless the game was balanced around the meta-elims being almost guaranteed to win their bet. But that seems counter to the whole idea of the game. Honestly, the only reason I give any credence to Verdance’s claim to begin with is that there is a specific interaction in the rules for meta-elim roleplayers.
  10. Why was anyone voting on Xino in the first place? Won’t he get filtered out fairly soon anyway for not posting? In particular, I think the filter hits Xino at the end of this turn. I suppose there are pinch hitters lined up so we won’t actually get a flip. I only see one wasted exe. Even if by some twist of fate you flip village, your slot needs to be resolved or we’ll be stuck wondering about you all game.
  11. I mean, it could be that the meta-elim team has outed itself, in which case we should be excited rather than frustrated . Myst/Verdance/Striker/(Hoid or Kit Kat)
  12. Well, Striker switching his vote is what allowed the vote manip to save Myst. Hopper flipping Roleplayer is another nail in the coffin of meta-elim!Verdance. I find it a little interesting that there wasn’t much of a response to the Tineye message last turn, in the sense that Striker never got pushed to say what he was going to do with all his investiture. Also, I wonder if Hopper scanned Striker as meta-elim, which could explain his vote. If not, then he probably PM’d whoever he scanned at meta-villager, and that person should claim. I’m not liking Hoid or Kit Kat for helping save Myst either, so I’m fine with exeing them or Striker today.
  13. I know the facts of this post are largely irrelevant, but the way it reads strongly inclines me to think of Myst as an elim. The post is very adversarial against TJ based on unfounded assumptions (the NK and the distro). Furthermore, the excuse about not claiming is pretty much what I’d expect e!Myst to say in that world. Myst I’m also interested in flipping Verdance, since I don’t really think anything has overturned my read on him from the last cycle.
