The Paradoxical Phenomenon he/him Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 Honestly I reallyb don't want to exe Stick. In all truth, I think this is because she's defending me. I think I'm going to go with Aman Araris. (I once again apologize for incorrect coloring)

Doesn’t mean he’s evil but he’s no longer village for not self pressing since he’s self pressing :P. 1 minute ago, _Stick_ said: I’m half asleep but hey I’m the skaa seeker do with that what you will What does that do what’s the vote count there’s no time >>
The Paradoxical Phenomenon he/him Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 Not a huge fan of an Archer exe. IDK why, but I have a Gut v on him.

The Unknown Medallion he/him Posted April 20, 2023 Author Posted April 20, 2023 (edited) Cycle Two - When They Come Forge Tabowtit and Stick faced each other in the village square, each flanked by two accomplices. The remaining inhabitants cheered them on as the pair began beating each other into the ground for the privilege of being cleared of suspicion for another day. Neither combatant could gain the advantage, nor did they show signs of exhaustion, and soon their respective attendants grew restless. Nobody in the crowd could see which of the four moved first, but within seconds all six of them were engaged in an even more bloodthirsty brawl than the original ruleless bout. The crowd cheered louder, no longer caring who was innocent and who was guilty. Emboldened, Forge threw aside two of his opponents and closed in on Stick. “Wait!” Stick cried. “I’m the skaa seeker.” Forge hesitated for a crucial moment, his thoughts slowed by his bloodlust. Those seconds of delay proved fatal as Stick and her allies recovered, surrounding Forge and crushing him between them. He fell to the ground and didn’t get up. ~ What a mess. A whole day of tracking down her informants and the ministry’s collaborators only to result in a hopelessly muddled tangle of accusations, pointless theatrics, and one unwarranted death. In all the frenzied commotion, it had been easy for Scarthroat to slip into the village and blend in with the spectators to Forge’s demise. He hadn’t even been interrogated before his accusers had struck the final blow; careless error or deliberate silencing? A quick end meant everyone would have to start over tomorrow with little information. Any confession made under coercion was worthless of course, but observing the crowd’s reaction might have revealed those who cared too much or too little about Forge. Plus, the joy of slowly exsanguinating someone was its own reward. ~ Reve stumbled into the misty night, following the pull of impending death. The day’s events had been disappointing; she hadn’t been able to reach Forge’s body before his shadow moved on. A missed opportunity to add to her numbers that she would rectify tonight when the ministry attacked. Infiltrations of Tyrian Falls always involved assassinations come nightfall, and her sense that someone was about to die was activating right on cue. She loosened her connection to her body and it collapsed to an inert clump of meat hidden in the darkness. She’d be able to watch safely from here. ~ Cloudy Copper had forgotten the way home. He’d etched a map on a copper ingot to help him remember, but he seemed to have lost it. He had a vague memory of hitting someone with it, the dead man with the forgettable name. Regardless, he’d gotten lost enough that he’d find his home just as surely as his map. He just had to keep wandering these misty roads until he stumbled across either of them. He paused, having a better idea. He could burn gold until he found a version of himself that had a good memory and sense of direction. He searched through alternate self after alternate self until at last he found someone with the proper skills. Aha! He remembered where his house was! He took one confident step in the right direction and tripped over something large and heavy in the dark. A body? Before he could get to his feet, the mists dispersed around him, revealing a figure in a mistcloak wielding a glass knife that reflected what little starlight reached them. One slash and Cloudy Copper fell all the way to the ground. The mistcloaked figure cut him one more time and disappeared into the mists without checking whether Cloudy was still breathing. If they had, they would have noticed one of the two bodies getting up and walking away, her consciousness expanded by one more shadow. Archer has been exed! Mat he/him Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 (edited) VC please @The Known Novel Edit: Hmm yeah okay. Some things to parse here. I'll think about it, reread. Araris kill is interesting. DeTess she/her Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 (edited) ... What in Damnation was that mess at the end of the cycle? Okay, so looking at the movements, I think the mess started here: VC: Stick(2): Mat, Archer Aman(2): Alpha, Silho Archer(2): Stick, Araris Alpha(2): DeTess, Aman when Aman created a four-way tie. Next was archer swapping to Araris from stick, removing stick from the tie: VC: Stick(1): Mat, Archer Aman(2): Alpha, Silho Archer(2): Stick, Araris Alpha(2): DeTess, Aman Araris(1): Archer after that came Amanuensis, adding stick back to the tie and removing alpha: VC: Stick(2): Mat, Aman, Archer Aman(2): Alpha, Silho Archer(2): Stick, Araris Alpha(1): DeTess, Aman Araris(1): Archer Then came shining silhouette, removing Aman and brining Araris up to the tie: VC: Stick(2): Mat, Aman, Archer Aman(1): Alpha, Silho Archer(2): Stick, Araris Alpha(1): DeTess, Aman Araris(2): Archer, Silho Then Silho switched again, breaking the tie and putting archer in the lead. VC: Stick(2): Mat, Aman, Archer Aman(1): Alpha, Silho Archer(3): Stick, Araris, Silho Alpha(1): DeTess, Aman Araris(1): Archer, Silho The last move was Archer moving back to stick VC: Stick(3): Mat, Aman, Archer, Archer Aman(1): Alpha, Silho Archer(3): Stick, Araris, Silho Alpha(1): DeTess, Aman Araris(0): Archer, Silho The final exe landed on Archer, who was proven to be innocent. Some things of note: The kill against Araris was most likely submitted either before they came up for the lynch if none of the elims where around for turnover, or otherwise must have been submitted close to turnover after the vote on Araris dissipated. edit: this is pretty useless info now, but could be used to help narrow things down once an elim has been executed. Silho was the only one to actually completely break the tie. If at some point in the future they were to flip elim, stick would be worth looking into. If the mobborn was part of this tie at any point, they would not have been worried about that at all, given their immunity to going down on ties. Stick initially seems to fit that profile, but roleclaimed a moderately important role towards the end while in a situation where they couldn't break the tie themselves. That could be a village indicator, or an elim indicator, but I don't think they're the mobborn. Aman does fit the profile of a mobborn unaffraid of being in ties. There's probably more I can get from this later, for now I am feeling like if either stick or Silho flips elim, the other one should be looked at closely. Stick. she/her Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 Hm okay well I scanned Silho and found that no one targeted him but I’ve asked if I’m informed of whether my action got redirected. If I wasn’t redirected, we know for sure that Silho did not get converted nor was he targeted by an Augur/Lurcher/Thug. Was hoping to catch the elim kill there but well. 4 hours ago, Matrim's Dice said: VC please @The Known Novel Edit: Hmm yeah okay. Some things to parse here. I'll think about it, reread. No, I was expecting death tbh. Since the mobborn recruitment comes before the exe, we can rule out the possibility of Araris having been their attempted conversion as that would have reflected in the write up. I can confirm that Alpha did not submit the elim kill, unless they are the tineye.
Stick. she/her Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 (edited) I’ll start with DeTess They fit the profile of having been absent during EoD when an araris wagon was starting to become a possibility. They’re also one of the two players to vote on side trains. Will note that I was fairly high up on their suspicions list yet they were content enough to leave their vote on Alpha when checking out for the cycle (it was 2/2 between Mat and I when they last posted). @DeTess why didn’t you vote for me? IMO it was clear that an Alpha train wouldn’t be viable since so many of us were village reading them, so why leave your vote there? Edit: Since there doesn’t seem to have been any soothing last cycle, we can assume a conversation took place so best case scenario we’re looking at 2I/2M/3S rn Edited April 20, 2023 by _Stick_

I was more suspicious of them than you 2. by the time I went to bed, there where, as far as I can tell, no serious signs there where significantly better chances of lynching you over them.
Stick. she/her Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 I will say that an Araris kill might be a little too obvious for E!DeTess, given that he was openly suspecting them. The only other players who I remember giving actual opinions on Araris were Aman and Mat, both of whom ascribed village reads to him. Araris was village reading Aman so I’m not what E!Aman stands to gain from that kill, unless that was the whole point. @JNV has yet to say anything non-mechanics related
