On the tip o' my tongue for some years now
Fezzik replied to Ripheus23's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Welcome to the Shard! How long have you been into D&D? Or Brandon's stuff? -
He is using Fortune. It is a Feruchemical attribute, and he *might* be using a medallion, perhaps some other way (atium would do the trick, but it is in very short supply), but basically, Fortune allows you to see the future, so Hoid will know "I should be at this point in time and space in order to accomplish x," but have no idea of the intermediate steps. Have you read the Traveler? It gives more background on Hoid's goals (and by more, I mean any at all). He seems to want to return someone from the dead. Whether that is Adonalsium, a sibling, or a lover, no one has any idea. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/332-jordancon-2018/#e9518

Correct, he only has leatherbound editions of cosmere books released more than 10 years ago.

Shallash seems well on her way to becoming a dustbringer, so transformation, illusion, destruction, and abrasion together seems very assassiny.

New Shard Confirmed-ish through 2020 WOB - Anguish?

The other two planets in that system, monody and elegy are also funereal songs. -
Brandon Sanderson's website contains all the maps from the books, and with far fewer spoilers than the coppermind.

I've got news for you! Lift thinks about small hairy horse-things with horns in Edgedancer, so Roshar probably does. -

Could Miles or Hoid survive Sel's CR Storms ?
Fezzik replied to Friendshipspren's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Actually, Hoid isn't even threatened by a shardblade, so it is probably more effective than gold compounding. -

Before I decide how I feel about this post, I need to know how often you come across dead squirrels, and whether or not you are responsible for their deadness. -
The 11th Fool, a reference to the ten fools of vorin symbolism.

So what exactly is your theory? Why is Honor's number 10, while Odium is 9?

Just wanted to quote Way of Kings here, talking about Shallan; "when she took a memory, she snipped off a bud of their soul, so she could later cultivate it on the page."

Do they cause allergies, or are they just attracted to sufferers? -
A strange similarity between two Cosmere substances
Fezzik replied to Honorless's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Perhaps Odium did not work alone. Perhaps he (devotion's antithesis) worked with Autonomy (dominion's antithesis). Autonomy is also likely behind trell, so that could be a connection. -

He only gives us one per book, so you might have to wait a while. -
@Tana'kai_humaka'aban, probably should spoiler that. And avoid triple posting.

They would be about the same age. Mb Era 2 takes place in the 15-20 year gap between SA5 and 6. Assuming no crazy time skip between books 4 and 5, (and she ages completely normally) she would be ~30 by the time SA 6 rolls around, which would put her slightly younger than wayne, but they could still be well within optimal theiving age ranges.

I had the opposite problem. Growing up, my parents wouldn't let me go to my room and read. -
Sel is cool, but I would say the third major Cosmere planet is Yolen, the setting of Dragonsteel (forthcoming) The "three major planets" could also refer to Roshar, Ashyn, and Braize which exist in a planetary system with 10 gas giants as referenced here: https://wob.coppermind.net/events/219-words-of-radiance-philadelphia-signing/#e7948
