When, if you find a single person who has read even a single Sanderson book, you overwhelm them with facts, theories, recommendations, and questions on their opinions.

YES!!! Actually I did it when my sister was half way done with the book.

I am always making puns/references about cosmere stuff to my family. None of them understand because they have only read skyward.

When a joke in a joke book goes something like, "How do you make sure two sticks catch on fire?" (with the answer being "make sure one is a match") and you can't stop cackling over the thought TELL THEM TO BECOME FIRE.

When you make cosmere puns constantly to everybody around you but nobody understands because they aren't invested in the cosmere.

Ha lucky, none of my family cares at all to read them^_^ I knew someone who had read most of them, but they moved away.

I tried to get some of my friends to read some...I got one to read The Final Empire, but that was it. So now I geek out in my room alone when I should probably be sleeping.

I got a friend to read all the cosmere (took forever, but she did, and is now on the shard), and then I got several friends to read TFE, but most stopped after that, and now that we are in lockdown, one of the friends who read TFE read all three stormlight books in the course of a week. (They read TFE at least a year ago).

When you buy Cosmere books as bday gifts for people that aren't into fantasy, in the hope you will convert them... (next target: my brother)

I like how everyone treats the Sanderfandom as a cult.

You know you're a Sanderfan when you know the Sanderfandom is a cult

Well, let's see:

  1. Messiah-like figure - Check
  2. Monetary requirements - Check
  3. Isolation from friends and family - Check (This is what happens when you have one(1) topic you bring up in every conversation)
  4. Attempts to convert others - Check

Conclusion: There is no way that the Sanderfans do not form a cult.

YKYAS whene you try to help your friend with names to his DnD campaign, and all the names that you cancome up with are sanderson related.

Posted

YKYAS when you and your friends start finding parallels between Hamilton (the musical) and Cosmere characters. It started when a friend decided that the love triangle between Hamilton, Eliza, and Angelica is like the love triangle between Navani, Gavilar, and Dalinar.

When your wife responds with “well maybe you should have married Brandon” after you explain that the section of WoR she was confused about was not due to unclear writing as Brandon making mistakes is clearly impossible.

When you finally read Arcanum Unbounded and White Sand, and you feel empty, because now you've read all the published Cosmere.

Hey RoW and Dawnshards are only a few months away.

You know you are a Sanderfan when you play a flute at the Grand Canyon, expecting it to echo back perfectly
