Whenever I see a piece of metal, I comment on Wether or not It would make a good hemalurgic spike. No one ever knows what i'm talking about.

When you have an internal freakout because you get to fund the Kickstarter

When your friends are talking about masks and hiding, and one of them is reading WOK, and you have to actively concentrate to not talk about Shallan.

You know you're a Sanderfan when you realize that you've convinced your entire D&D party to read at least one of Sanderson's books.

Also, I just read the mid-20 chapters of Hero of Ages last night, so:

When you laugh giddily in the middle of the night just because Hoid's name shows up as a little easter egg, and then nearly cry when you realize Vin barely even interacts with him.

Ooh yeah I know just a tiny bit about that.
I should read that and The Bands of Mourning between Era 1 and 2, right? Or is it better to finish Era 2 first?

It does not really matter. I waited until afterwards, but either way it's a fun read.

When you wish you were a couple years older, so you had a job so you could actually fund the kickstarter.

Bands of Mourning is the last published book of Era 2, secret history is its own thing

Yep, if you read Bands of Mourning between Hero of Ages and Alloy of Law, you're bound to be very confused.

Gotcha, I thought the two novellas were adjacent. I'll probably save them for after Era 2 anyway, I still have Warbreaker, SA 2 & 3, Threnody, and Elantris to entertain me once I'm done with Hero of Ages.:lol:

I think you may have gotten the wrong idea about The Bands Of Mourning. The Bands of Mourning isn't a novella, It's the sequel to Shadows of Self, so actually, it is a part of Era 2, and a full blown novel to boot. It and Secret History are lumped together for many reasons, the least spoilery of which is that it was released the same day, and has some relevance to some of the things in Bands of Mourning

Me. Too. I check it every couple of hours or so :P.

You know you're a Sanderfan when 3 of the people close to you are reading Words of Radiance at the same time, at your own recommendation.

Why do you have four copies?

I have 3 copies of Elantris because I keep buying the 10th anniversary edition, and I keep getting the original.

Just thought of this one...

When, if you find a single person who has read even a single Sanderson book, you overwhelm them with facts, theories, recommendations, and questions on their opinions.

When you’re reading Atlas Shrugged and tunnel on a minor character named Paul Larkin.

There’s also someone in my state running for Attourney General named Matt Larkin.

So many Larkins. Zahel would have a fit...

No he wouldn't because he would be dead.

You know your a Sanderfan when you finish rereading The Hero of Ages in about a day.
