  1. Regardless if they actually hooked up or not It's Just a personal opinion of her whereabouts. I'd like to think of her venturing into the Cosmere or at least to Roshar as there seems to be a little back and forth between Roshar and Nalthis. Im hoping Nightblood gets chatty so we can find out what happened to her... Maybe she's Rushu incognito haha
  2. I generally refer to The Lord Ruler as a Fullborn or a Sliver to myself, just a personal preference as Twinborn just doesn't do him justice. The Lord Ruler must have been an absolute monster being able to Compound all of the metals. This has probably been explained by far more knowledgeable Sharders than myself but put simply a Twinborn refers to a being who has access to both one Allomantic metal and one Feruchemical metal. A person who has access to only one Allomantic power is simply a Misting, a person who has access to only one Feruchemy power is a Ferring. The best example of Twinborn compounding is between Wayne and Miles HundredLives. Both are Bloodmakers, which they use Gold to store health, the difference between them is that Wayne is a Allomantic Slider (Bendalloy) which enables him to use Speed Bubbles. Miles however is an Augur (Gold) Both of his metals are Gold. Which allows him to Store Health in his metalmind and then use Allomancy to burn it giving him a supercharged burst of power.
  3. Im sure she's on Roshar somewhere...
  4. Despite the epic fight's, The memorable one liners, Worldbuilding, the awesome humor.. remember that time Jenet threw a rock at Adolin?
  5. I'd say he was the best choice available at the time he ascended. He used knowledge from all the religions on Scadrial to reassemble the world and set it too rights. No other character at that time would have been able to do that so adroitly. There's also the fact there are groups, factions and perhaps even other Shards working to limit his knowledge about the Cosmere, balancing two Shards of different intent binds his hands but he's still learning. Considering the guy went in blind i would personally say he's done a pretty good job.
  6. I just want to watch him squirm mostly. Honestly, im fine with Kaladin and Shallan being a couple i thought the had a great chemistry in the chasms but im not really that fussed about it. It would please and amuse me endlessly if Kal ended up with Jasnah though.
  7. I know, it was a joke... Apparently not a good one.
  8. “What has happened to us?” Dalinar asked. “Where is our honor?” “Honor is dead,” a voice whispered from beside him. Dalinar turned and looked at Captain Kaladin. He hadn’t noticed the bridgeman walking down the steps behind him.Kaladin took a deep breath, then looked at Dalinar. “But I’ll see what I can do."
  9. Kaladin once swore he'd rather flirt with a Chasmfiend than Shallan. Keep your word Kal.
  10. I swallowed a great quantity of Metal Flakes recently. I knew it was a bad idea but i had to be sure.
  11. HELLO!! You seem quirky. Im sure we'll get along great!
  12. Harmonium..... taking a short trip to Theoryland haha I'll bring you a souvenir as thanks!
  13. I believe Rashek mellowed with age but at no point in his long life did he quit being a chull. EDIT** I did not say chull.
  14. I don't believe Sazed would trust Kelsier with even a tiny portion of Ruins power. The guys basically a morally unscrupulous vigilante with an inferiority complex. True!! He's got all the remaining Atium IN THE WORLD and several nougats in his stomach but Brandon mentioned it will eventually run out.... unless Sazed does something. I agree this is what Harmony has done to balance out the power of Preservation and Ruin.
  15. Hoid's never liked Kelsier or Vice Versa. Im sure it was immensely satisfying experiance for him. I know it was for me. Perhaps Kel becoming a Cognitive Shadow affected Hoid's restrictions? or Maybe just the location?
  16. I highly doubt it. Possibly in the future he could 'hack the system' like Vasher or Denth but it's highly difficult for a Cognitive Shadow. So i doubt he's been spotted anywhere more oddly I'm surprised nobody on Scadrial has seen him either. He seems pretty conspicuous him and Marsh both.
  17. Yes!! Nothing great just sending out probes so to speak haha
  18. I always thought the Oathpact was a last ditch effort by Honor to bind or halt Odium, he new he couldn't win so he sought to lock him up. It works like a war game, wave after wave of invasions being fended off until Honor was finally Splintered. I also agree that from the start Ambition was Odiums first target, he saw that particular Shard as his greatest rival. D&D were targets of opportunity while he sought Ambition. On a side note i always took this WOB with a pinch of salt. Autonomy could have indirectly helped by being manipulated by Odium. Q: "Did Bavadin in any way help Odium splinter Dominion and Devotion?"Brandon: "Uhh......" (about to RAFO)Q: "In ANY way?"Brandon: "Sure."
  19. Hemalurgy always struck me as a evil/creepy art but on further reflection it seems more neutral. Neither good nor bad it just is what it is. It is a tool that depends more on the wielders intent but sadly i think it is easier to use it for nefarious purposes rather than benign ones. It made me very nervous when i discovered it was still around. When Wax read Spooks book i can always remember the facepalm shortly after.
  20. HOSER Did Tanavast survive Honor's splintering? BRANDON SANDERSON Tanavast is dead. Good question. However, that is as of the start of The Way of Kings. HOSER So he could have survived the Splintering... BRANDON SANDERSON He could have survived the Splintering. HOSER ...as a mortal... BRANDON SANDERSON Well, he could have survived for a time, but then he could not have then... HOSER ...passed away in his sleep... BRANDON SANDERSON Right. I found this if it helps any.
  21. We have a pretty rough outline of present events and storylines, @The One Who Connects has a good one but exact dates dating back to the shattering are unclear. I'd guess Odium/Rayse would have wanted to eliminate Ambition as early as possible considering he thought that particular Shard to be his biggest rival in his plans. In a battle of Shards i imagine our concept of time to be vastly different, spanning centuries and eons. So what we'd consider to be a long time is more or less a blink to them, the process of splintering shards is still pretty much a mystery,it consists of two Shards pushing there power together. I imagine one Shard has to maneuver the other to invest more power into their world or magic so then they can gain the upperhand when they clash. Odiums been trapped for 4500 years on Braize, before that he Destroyed Devotion and Dominion on Sel, Ambition on Threnody then splintered Honor on Roshar after. In a nutshell, His goal is to reign supreme, as soon as the opportunity presented itself he struck out hunting Shards.
  22. Yep. Things seem to be indicating he's a major Douche canoe.
  23. @skaaHaha i suppose it does point to Hoid, i cant remember what made me think of Axies if im being honest? Maybe Wits personality is why it tried to eat him?
