  1. OMG i've just read those two while ravaging the new Arcanum. I wouldn't mind seeing a few Rosharans Worldhopping about!
  2. I think Adolins plot is going somewhere; his Shard summoning time was shortened and i think it will be more that just the first guy to revive a Shardblade.
  3. Axies is immortal, i have no doubt he's been around for a while, Arclo probably knew him back in the old days before Aimia was scoured. I don't think he's 'famous' per say, i'd say he's just well known in certain circles. For example the Veristitalians are a group of scholars and are probably well versed in his Spren cataloguing but i don't think a random Rosharan would recognise him.
  4. Brightness Jasnah Kholin Everybody. Take a bow.
  5. That's what i thought!! This particular except has stayed with me since i first read WOK
  6. Amaram has always been a hypocrite - although he did feel real guilt for what he did to Kaladin he believed he was serving a higher purpose scorned by Dalinar and mocked by Jasnah. Then he discovered the Heralds had been there all a long and they were mad and the world was ending. I bet he felt awful then surrounded his 'passion' to Odium because he couldn't deal with it. With what he did for a Shardblade i bet he would do more for NB. Moash just murdered Elhokar right in front for his for year old son after kicking him aside. Then murdered a Herald because he was told too. He seems pretty quick to complain about how hard life is to him but he's a snake.
  7. It's pretty much pure speculation until we finally see him. This is currently the best we have to go on regarding his intentions but it seems bad if he is switching sides, Ishar was the 'go to guy' if you were a Herald and you had a problem or needed advice, Ash wanted to take Taln to him when she found him.
  8. I've never really seen tha taboo of it, because Odium can see the future but it's described: "He can see the future, though only cloudily. " Honor could do it to a degree and so could Cultivation though she was better at it: "I cannot see the future completely. Cultivation, she is better at it than I. It’s as if the future is a shattering window. The further you look, the more pieces that window breaks into. The near future can be anticipated, but the distant future… I can only guess." Maybe it's just a thing ordinary men are not supposed to dabble in?
  9. Luckily Nale gave NB to Szeth indeed... but Moash has that dagger that can permanently kill a Herald anyway.
  10. Kal has no problem sacrificing himself for others, it made me think about an Oath that doesn't let him get weighed down by his failures or the people who die. (Apolagies, can't think of a snazzy oath )
  11. Im not too Cosmere savy to be honest but i think it was Honors perpendicularity but i would love it to be Adonalsium. I agree with @dvoraen that Adolnalsium isn't dead or not completely power can't be destroyed.
  12. Don't get me wrong i love moments of badassery and banter, World Wars and epic battles, but Wit awakening that Doll to help that little girl to find a home, that was something special.
  13. Just finished and im already way behind in the forums... Damnation.
  14. Just finished Oathbringer. Ok im mostly just glad this is over. The whole 'love triangle' felt particularly skewed from the beginning to me, there were far more interactions with Adolin- where she basically cooed over how pretty he was and not much real depth until a little later when they started opening up a little bit but Kaladin? Nothing really, she seemed to have a little unpredictable streak where he was concerned bouncing between cruel and just plain odd. (That part where she said her men were smart to run and B4 were stupid almost made me have apoplexy) Shallan was pushing feelings for Kal on to Veil whenever things were getting serious with Adolin. I always enjoy character conflict but I felt like Kal and Shallan were never really explored, i felt that Kal admired her and was in awe of her ability to 'put things away' and just got confused and Shallan had basically flirted with him because she felt so much pressure and if im honest i wasn't really that fussed about the whole triangle, and Kals my favourite character but im glad Shallan and Adolin got married. Besides tell me there wasn't more chemistry in that one Kaladin/Jasnah interaction than the whole damnation triangle. I. Dare. You.

    WOB's??

Hello everybody!! It's good to be back to the site after so long, don't want to waste anybody's time so ill get to it. I feel like I've fallen way behind after my absence, Is there any forum or site where i can read the latest WOB's or tidbits of info from Q&A's? Thank you
  17. I devour them all with relish and no shame.
  18. Mind if i ask your reasoning for this? I'd personally prefer Adolin x Shallan. She was unbearable in the first 90% of WOK but she grew on me after she actually started doing stuff. Kaladin is by far my favourite character but im pretty indifferent towards Adolin i don't really like him but i don't dislike him.
  19. I never said there's no chemistry there, I said I doubted Kal would actively pursue Shallan. I just don't think Kal is the type of guy to chase his friend's (however rocky their relationship started) betrothed and I don't think Shallan would risk breaking an incredibly beneficial engagement that her family desperately needs.
  20. I don't think Kal will actively pursue her. I think there was a mutual attraction enhanced by the soul sharing and adrenaline.
  21. I wouldn't mind seeing some character friction between Kal, Shallan and Adolin. I think it would liven things up a bit. On a different note i think in the Chasms when they had their chemistry it was mostly the danger and the adrenaline that made them open themselves up to each other, Kaladin opened up about his life and she simply responded in kind. They both realised they had far more in common than they thought they had, with both regarding themselves as broken. The close physical proximity wouldn't have hurt either. This triangle could swing either way in truth. Dont Judge me Elena but im guilty of saying this. I think i've written this exactly Haha.
