I don’t know if Hoid is combining other arts or not but maybe combining Lightweavings from Roshar and Yolen has a similar effect to compounding or something similar? This WOB is pretty amazing with its implications.. if it’s similar to what Dawnshards can do.

Future sight in the Cosmere is something I have been dying to know about for YEARS. There are multiple methods of achieving it with Shards being far above everybody else, and some individual shards being better than others. Wyrn seems to do something a little differently however. Futuresight seems to work that the further you look into the future/spiritual realm the more possibilities there are. Which is very realistic and the inclusion of if you get two people looking into the future it becomes hazier or murkier. Atium on the other hand is a brief glimpse into the future ie a few seconds. I think that is it’s edge, it is small In scale. Nothing like what Renarin does which seems far broader and deeper and becomes harder to interpret. When two Atium users come face to face it’s cancelled out and follows the same principle unless has one more atium. Renarin seems to be seeing things weeks or months in advance so it becomes more vague.

You dont have to feel silly if you are wrong, it’s all speculation at this point anyway. My only thought about Taravangian still being afflicted with Cultivation’s Boon and Curse is that it affects Taravangian pre ascension. I have no idea if he will remain affected by it. All the shards are equally as powerful with Cultivation being more experienced but Taravangian will be more ‘free’ to act’. If he is though I am curious how it will affect him because he was a little slower than normal when he ascended and he had difficultly staying in control of sodium’s shard. Maybe when he’s super smart he’d be more able to distance himself from the intent of the shard. my only request if it turns out you’re right please do t rub my nose in it

I’m currently doing a massage Cosmere reread so I haven’t read anything aside from that recently. These are a few of the best Fantasy books I can think of off the top of my head. If any of these appeal to you knock yourself out but if they don’t maybe somebody will be into them The first law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie (If you are into Audiobooks this is honestly the only narrrator I’d put up there with Kramer) Kings dark Tidings but Kel Kade Malazan book of be fallen by Steven Erickson (Heavy heavy fantasy reading) Night Angel trilogy or LightBringer by Brent Weeks The Necromancers Key by Mitchel Hogan Powder mage series by Brian McClellan (one of Sanderson’s Students)

It’s honestly hard to say. The beginning will determine if I’ll continue while the ending determines if I’ll get the sequel.
