To add on to what @R J said, from the prose to the Graphic novel there were a few minor changes... -the scene of Khrissallas arrival to dayside was cut in the GN -a main character gets gender-swapped(male to female) -A (minor?) character lives instead of dying -name of one of the main cultures was slightly revised("kershtian" to "kerztian" -in the Prose, we get a lot of other Charaters PoV's and internal monologue(like Khriss) -lots and lots of typos in the Prose

WinespringBrother So, would Unity be a natural enemy of Autonomy? Brandon Sanderson Um... Possibly. You say "natural," and so I-- WinespringBrother Well, would one eliminate the other one? But more towards Autonomy trying to break up-- Brandon Sanderson To break up Unity. It's so hard to say, because Autonomy is a bit of a strange duck. Like, what counts as being Autonomous? Is absorbing everything and becoming one again Autonomous or not? That's kind of your question that you get into. And the way Autonomy looks at it right now, is no. Autonomy wants to remain Autonomy. Autonomy does not want to be corrupted by anything else. And Autonomy would think the Shards are better on their own. But is this a natural effect, or part of the-- Does that make sense? Is anybody else worried about Hoid?
Eternal Khol replied to Spren of Kindness's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Hoid's doin just fine. he doesnt have any real friends that we know of BUT we are eventually going to get to meet some of his love interests RiyriaMistborn Has Hoid ever had a love interest? Brandon Sanderson Yes! Several! General Signed Books 2018 (March 14, 2018) Questioner My question is a follow up to what you answered in my Well of Ascension. I asked if Hoid had any love interests, and you said, "Several". My follow up question is, have we seen any of those *inaudible*. Brandon Sanderson They will show up in various books but you have not seen them yet. They're *inaudible*. Footnote: That entry can be found here. FanX 2018 (Sept. 8, 2018) -
definite answer. yes he is still a feruchemist Yados Does Sazed's biological body still exist somewhere? If so, does that body still possess Feruchemical abilities? Brandon Sanderson Yes, it does exist, though kind of...blended-in, so to speak, as happened with the others when they Ascended. Yes, it still has his abilities, though they are kind of moot now. 17th Shard Forum Q&A (Sept. 26, 2012)

Awesome! Im surprised you actually made so many already. just a tip though, instead of basing the Aons off the whole continent of Roshar, you might try doing a specific country on Roshar(say, Alethkar or Jah Keved). On Sel, different countries on the same continent have different ways of accessing the magic besides Aons, so it makes sense that it would be the same on Roshar.

yes, he should still be a Feruchemist after releasing the power. Feruchemy is still written into his Spiritweb and that Spiritweb is still somewhere in that power. Rashek Ascended and Fully became Preservation and he was still a feruchemist after he used the power. he was even able to modify his Spiritweb to make himself a extremely powerful Allomancer. well... technically you can still call him a Feruchemist. the Metallic Arts are just the near infinite capabilities of Preservation & Ruin, channeled into a very specific form that mortals can see and interact with. now that he's Harmony, its sorta like he's both the source of the metallic arts and a practitioner(i dont know that practitioner is the right word, now that he doesn't actively practice Feruchemy). its just, now thats he's Harmony, why would he want to use those extremely limited set of abilities when he can do almost anything he wants. why would you try to use lego's to build a house when you have perfectly good lumber at your disposal?(in this metaphor, Feruchemy is the Lego's and the Shards power is the Lumber) he still has the ability to do Feruchemy but he isn't a Feruchemist(at least by my definition) you wouldn't say a jack of all trades, is simply a Plumber, now would you?

They probably already knew the other abilities but they wouldn’t really be useful for combat so we never saw them. also Brandon was planning on writing more books. Maybe he wanted to save some things for the next one. Like how we didnt learn the name and mechanics of Hemalurgy until Hero of Ages as for abilities, i have no idea.

They also say that Smokeform is a form of Power and dont Forms of Power use voidlight? The singers in Warform weren’t using voidlight, right? is it just the Fused and Unmade?
-
I think, you’re thinking of Smokeform here’s the Nightform song “Nightform predicting what will be, The form of shadows, mind to forsee. As the gods did leave, the nightform whispered. A new storm will come, someday to break. A new storm a new world to make. A new storm a new path to take, the nightform listens. ”
-
i know that its happened. i was just wondering why you compared to BAM, the Unmade staying on Roshar is completely different than the Voidspren and Fused staying on Roshar we've never seen Nighform before, what make you think that?
-
Thats only if your trying to Push or Pull on the metal. youd still be able to see if they had the metal on them. Allomancy doesnt affect Aluminum but seeing where the metal is or if anyone has any, isn't affecting the metal Edit: i guess i was wrong. you cant see Aluminum with iron or steel

that investiture is presumably the same though. its just coming from different sources. its False because Oduim's forces weren't actually coming back from Braize(like they would be if it was an actual Desolation) it was just a unmade that figured out how to supply forms of power & voidlight(which is normally not around between desolation. i think?) and everyone thought it was a Desolation because of the Voidlight and forms of power.
-
thats not exactly a strong case. all nine unmade are always on Roshar. its not like they go to Braize too.
-
it is. but the false desolation was just that. False. it was still a time between Desolations when Odiums forces were on Braize and the parsh were still fighting(albeit with forms of power)

i think whatever planet it is, its gotta have life, maybe not humans, but definitely life. i feel like in the space age cosmere, that Fourth Planet will be colonized.

the flute has went from Hoid to Kaladin to Sadeas to Amaram(maybe) to Lift(she'll have it in RoW) we know almost nothing about the flute except the hands its been in and that Wyndle said it "looks strange" to him
-
im pretty sure there were. but the humans would win. without the Fused and Voidspren, Thunderclasts, etc... the parsh were probably pretty lost and without real leadership. from Oathbringer epigraphs: "Something must be done about the remnants of Odium's forces. The parsh, as they are now called, continue their war with zeal, even without their masters from Damnation."

Blackmail Theory: The Real Recreance
Eternal Khol replied to ConfusedCow's topic in Stormlight Archive
i think that might be the Highstorm pal. if we had a hurricane sweep across the US every week or two, im pretty sure there would be some pretty barren locations too yeah, i dont think its a simple as having humans go against a Intent. there have been and always will be people who act "dishonorably" again. not that simple. thats like saying, Ati couldv'e killed Leras by following his Intent to Ruin things. or like saying if a lot of Allomancers kill people(which they do) then that would in turn kill Preservation because they arent "Preserving"- 15 replies

Well we dont know the exact circumstances of how one becomes a shade. Full withering is just what the common people think. In the AU, Khriss says that they have a ailment that “upon death” sometimes turns them into Shades. There’s massive amounts of free floating investiture on Threnody and that power should be permeating everything nearby, including the people. Or its possibly just chunks of power(similar to how a perpendicularity looks but not strong enough to actually be one) maybe when someone gets withered they have a chance of being near one of those wells of power and doing what Kelsier did. Or, alternatively, if their soul is already permeated with power, it might happen automatically after they get withered Khriss Quote: “People on Threnody are afflicted with a particular ailment that—upon death—sometimes turns them into what we call a Cognitive Shadow.”

Are spren able to go to other worlds through Shadesmar?
Eternal Khol replied to Puris92's question in Cosmere Q&A
presumably, Vivenna got to the Cognitive Realm(A.K.A Shadesmar on Roshar) of Nalthis through Endowments Perpendicularity then got onto Roshar through Cultivations Perpendicularity, and yes, all worlds are connected in Shademar Endowments Perendicularity is in the Hallandren Jungle and Cultivation's is in the Horneater Peaks things like Spren and Cognitive Shadows are usually bound to the world they are made on. anything is possible though and there are a few Spren on Scadrial but almost know one knows how to make it happen. the Second WoB is about Hoid but it has relevance to Vivenna and your questions about the Cognitive Realm Alex Hetu If you went to Shadesmar on Scadrial would there be spren there? Brandon Sanderson "Spren" is a term for things on Roshar. So yes, there are a few, but they're from Roshar originally. General Twitter 2015 (Dec. 11, 2015) Questioner I want to know how Hoid travels between worlds. Or, if you're not going to tell me right now, will we ever find out? Brandon Sanderson Hoid has travelled between the worlds by getting in one Shardpool in Shadesmar and coming out a different one. *pause* Okay? So that is one method he has used to travel between the worlds. The worlds are connected through Shadesmar. Um, things that people don't think about as much reflect very minorly in Shadesmar, so when you-- all the-- most of the space between planets is cut out, and there's some weird, twisted geography going on there. So that's basically how he does it, Cognitive Realm. Arcanum Unbounded Chicago signing (Dec. 6, 2016) -
Chaos Allomancy provides many very dramatic effects, which some have noted is not very much like Preservation. Could you walk me through how Allomancy is of Preservation, though it does dramatic, dynamic things? Brandon Sanderson One of the 'basics' of the magic in all of the worlds is that the energy of Shards can fuel all kinds of interactions, not just interactions based on their personality/role. I did this because otherwise, the Magics would all be extremely limited. The 'role' of the Shard has to do with the WAY the magic is obtained, not what it can do. So, in Preservation's case, the magic is a gift--allowing a person to preserve their own strength, and rely upon the strength granted by the magic. While Hemalurgy has a huge cost, ending in net entropy. /r/fantasy AMA 2011 (Aug. 31, 2011)

like bending the Oathpact to travel somewhere other than Braize?
