Sha and Lum=Order and Chaos=Light and Dark It's also said that Order is the Luminous Aether and Chaos is the Night Aether Example: "Makkal made Amberite and Bestarin from the Chaos" So in short Sha and Lum are "creation itself" Agaris held Sha and Makkal held Lum

Here's all I could find on it "“What of the Shentis. Creations of your sons as well?” A virus, the voice said. Made by Agaris. It gave no visible disease, took no life. It had only one effect, to give sterility. Through subtlety he thought to infect Makkal’s people so that they would eventually die out and have no offspring. But, while not as clever as his brother, Makkal was not a fool. He discovered the virus and changed it, so that it bruised the flesh. Then his people would know to avoid those infected. I do not believe Agaris knows his virus lives on."

Aethers were created because Agaris and Makkals "first gifts were too easily manipulated" these first gifts were the Gol and the Virus that creates the Shentis Also, there's no indication that the Shentis are "altered by the Aether of Night" It just say that it was a "virus" made by Agaris to slowly kill off Makkals Followers Ferrous and Bestarin were the first two Aethers. Then Amberite and Verdant we created because the first ones weren't enough. And finally Luminous and Night It also suggests that as the Aethers were created they grew in purity. So in terms of purity it went Bestarin-Amberite-Night How purity affects the Aethers, I dont know, but we can leave that up to speculation

I think if two Shards like Honor and Cultivation had a human child, the child would definitely have more connection to the parent Shards. I don't think it would be capable of surgebinding or cultivations magic, but they would be capable of something

It's in the middle of the second paragraph. Questioner We started out in the earlier books knowing that there's this Hoid guy, he's a worldhopper. Hey, worldhoppers exist. And then we've kind of been given more and more. In Secret History it said you'd be surprised about the economy you've upended by destroying the perpedicularity. what amount of people are travelling between worlds? Hundreds? Thousands? Billions? Brandon Sanderson ...Thousands. Questioner Is it like vacation? Or is it like... Brandon Sanderson Well, I wouldn't call it-- Questioner Is it the frontier? Or is it from where you could go? Brandon Sanderson It depends on the roadway. Let's say you look at frontier era America. How hard was it to get to England? It was really far away, but it was actually relatively safe and common to do this. How difficult was it to get to Boise, Idaho? That's harder, but you know how to do it. How easy was it to get to, let's say, the Hawaiian Islands? You're starting to get into like, the question comes here, certain pathways are more traveled. There are going to be caravans, there are going to be guides. There are going to be safe travels between certain places that are done commonly enough that if you are in the know and are in the right place you can be like "I wanna buy passage here." And you go there, and you can have a reasonable expectation that you're going to make it to where you're going. Other places, you say, "I wanna go here", and they're like, "Yeah, I've known someone who tried that and they never came back. I'm not taking you." So, where you're going, where you're trafficking, Khriss gives you some indications of which ones are easy to get to and which ones are commonly visited. I would recommend that if you want to go on vacation in the cosmere, like, "I want to go somewhere different," go to Nalthis. Go to Nalthis. Nalthis is great to go to, right? They even have customs that you can go through. You can like, arrive, and things like this. Don't go to Sel. Sel is not good to go to. Sel is really dangerous to go to. There's a dead Shard--two of them--in the Cognitive Realm that will destroy you. Other places, Scadrial, used to be a lot easier to get to. Roshar, depends on which era you're talking about. Sometimes it's pretty easy to go to. Those nice Horneaters will treat you like a god and feed you food. However, right now, it might not be a good time to try to visit Roshar. The Singers were of H+C. Humans on Ashyn destroyed world using a primal form of surgebinding(not accessed by spren) Humans went to Roshar and we're worshipping Odium at the time or he just followed the humans and the Singers thought he was their god. H+C made Singers take in Humans H+C made switch to Humans from Singers The singers then mad at the betrayal of humans, went to Odium thinking he would give them the power to defeat humans Odium enslaves them The whole "of spren, wind and stone" thing seems to me like it relates to Shinovar where there aren't really a lot of spren, stone(because of all the soil) or wind, due to the mountains.

how did siri smuggle a chalkboard in the royal chamber?
Eternal Khol replied to king of nowhere's topic in Warbreaker
They knew and just didn't care. Brandon has said that they're were like 4 or 5 priests watching Siri and Suse on their first night. I know she didn't bring the chalkboard till a while later but they still had to have been watching. It seems most people think that if they found out about the board that they'd take it away and punish them or something, but they weren't bad. -
Vasher was my favorite, especially when he got in the workings of the magic and what not. Vivenna was my least favorite. She was too whiny and I would have to put the book down for a few hours whenever I started a chapter with her PoV

https://faq.brandonsanderson.com/knowledge-base/what-is-a-shard/ At the end in the last paragraph Brandon says while Rashek held the power he became preservation. Here's the quote. "When he held it he became the Shard for a short time"

Ascending and being a Vessel is just having the most Connection to that Shard. So if your were smart enough and found a way, then yes, anything is possible. It's just not plausible

In the picture, if you look at the background sky of the place the people are fleeing. You can see 5 stars Four of the stars look like (*) and the last one is round and orange. Since Ashyn and Roshar are so close I'm willing to bet that the one Bigger star is what Roshar looks like from Ashyn

WoB says Adonalsium created Roshar for a specific purpose

So I'm not sure if this is the right sub forum to post this. There will be some spoilers about the Rosharan System. SO DONT READ AHEAD IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILERS. Anyway. I think I found a depiction of the immigration from Ashyn to Roshar. It's one of the illustrations in Oathbringer. When you start "Part 1" there will be a map of the "Locations of the Ten Oathgates" On the bottom half of the illustration, it depicts people running through a portal -of sorts-away from fire. The place they flee to is full of Soil, grass and from the looks of it, Spren. We know that Ashyn is nicknamed "the burning planet" because of whatever happened there. Shinovar is the only place on Roshar that has soil grass like we do. I think it has to be it. What do you guys think?
