  1. What? No, you still need to edit the spoiler out of your message, please do that. You too, no 6th of the Dusk Sequel spoilers here. As for the actual point of this topic, I think that the spren do have to stay a single piece of metal. So that does heavily limit things. No moving parts or anything like that. As for size limits, we have this WoB
  2. Random Thought I Just Had:

Any two of us could have the same irl name and we’d never know it.

The Shard has a large Latter Day Saint community, so there is a fair chance that someone on the Shard shares my name.

  3. I feel like I should make some sort of comment on the inactivity rates of this game, seeing as how I was one of the inactives, but I don’t think I have much to say. I’ve been on both ends of the spectrum, been extremely inactive, (this game and the recent AG) and extremely talkative. (QF50. Cycle one of that game was longer than any other QF in its entirety. I believe I am partially to blame for that.) I think both of situations are somewhat of a problem honestly, inactivity is bad for obvious reasons, and hyperactivity is bad because it can cause other players to become inactive. I can’t really think of a solution to fix any of this though. I don’t think that having some sort of standard ’summary post’ is a good idea, how would we regulate something like that? The only person qualified to do something like that without bias would be the GM, and they already work their butts off for the players. No need to add more work for them. I think hyperactivity is something that can really only be solved by time, as we newer players get better at the game and learn to be more concise. Inactivity might be able to be fixed a bit by having a more developed pinch-hitter system. Maybe we should start making rulesets designed for less players, and have a player number limit for those games. First come first serve. Anyone who is too late could sign up as a pinch-hitter, and the inactivity filter could be a lot more strict. Like, a single cycle without any actual input and you’d be replaced. I dunno, there’s a lot of problems with that idea. But maybe it would help a little.
  4. As you continue dancing, thousands and thousands of birds seemingly materialize out of thin air. One of the other people dancing finds some tribal drums and begins playing. Someone starts a bonfire. Everyone begins dancing and leaping around the bonfire to the beat of the drums, mimicking the movements of the thousands of birds above. Suddenly the birds dive down, driven mad by the ritual dance. Dozens of them grab the captain and Yeet her off into the distance. “but I was supposed to be plot relevaaaaaaant!” She yells, her voice fading into the distance. Do you: 1. Continue dancing 2. Put out the bonfire 3. Try and become the new captain 4. Attack your new bird overlords
  5. Aight, I’ve been waiting for someone else to post, but I guess keeping this thread alive is up to me. Smh guys
  6. Do you guys watch any Booktubers?

I’m partial to Daniel Greene myself.

    ManCarryingThing is fun too.

I watch Daniel Greene sometimes. I'm just a recent sub.

    2. Spren of Kindness

      Spren of Kindness

Merphy Napier, Daniel Greene, and Eliot Brooks for the most part, as well as any videos that catch my interest.  I usually frequent a lot of music channels though, because about 60% of my YouTube usage is music while reading.

I mostly just watch Daniel's stuff, but I haven't really been watching anything besides Vlogbrothers recently.

      Spoiler

Secretly thinking that you're lucky because I play piano solo, and I'm always doing chords and triplets.

  8. That is indeed very small. Even after being cut in half we still have like 6 active priests and a couple more less-actives. And our ward boundaries are tiny Like, less than a single square mile now I feel selfish
  9. I just finished reading it, found it in a PDF. It was really quite good, thanks for the recommendation. I’ll listen to the radio drama version now, maybe look through the rest of that collection.
  10. Any chance you’ll share what those secret reasons are?
  11. I’ve never found a time travel system that I couldn’t find a plot hole in, (except for maybe Primer) so I’m interested in this Brandon Mull time travel, if all of y’all are saying it’s pretty solid. How does it work? Speaking of time travel, I think the WORST example of it that I’ve seen is the CW Flash show. I honestly like the show, but whenever time travel happens, I just have to ignore it. Not only does it not make any sense at all, it doesn’t even stay consistent. If you’re going to have nonsensical time travel, at least make it consistently nonsensical.
  12. Hmmmmmmm Well, Experience did just drop out, so I can view this as Anarchy just taking Exp’s place. Like a pinch-hitter. So sure, I guess they can join if they want to. While I’m at it, does anybody else who’s not currently playing want to sign up as a pinch-hitter in case somebody else drops out?
