Here's my advice to yall if any of you are gonna ever take it
do the math section backwards, the more time-consuming ones are at the end.
the biggest challenge for me was finishing in time, I didn't actually find any of the questions hard. But the math test is 60 problems in 60 min, so its pretty tight.

It did in fact get approved, all I really need to do is set up an new email for the account and we’re good. I’ll probably have it all finalized on Monday, since I’m gonna be busy tomorrow. And then we can finally resume the contest. Edit: Alas, technical difficulties have arose, just as they always do. For some reason the signup process isn’t working right on my phone, so I’ll have to use my computer at school tomorrow. but I am taking the ACT tomorrow too, so I might not be able to. Well, it’s pretty hard to answer this question. There are a lot of interludes, and they do a lot of different things. Some interludes have characters that we never see again. Those interludes are usually there to do 4 things: 1. Give some amount of foreshadowing for future events. 2. Give some more insight into the magic system 3. Show the effects of the main characters actions. 4. Give the more Cosmere-Aware readers some interesting tidbits and crossovers Some interludes are from the perspective of characters we already know. These are essentially just normal chapters, but they were put in the interludes because we aren’t going to keep seeing their POV, Brandon only wanted to give them one chapter. And some characters are actually introduced in the interludes, and then go on to become repeated POV characters. These are almost just normal chapters, but the actions of these characters usually don’t directly impact the plot.

So ya know how you’re always more creative in the shower? Well I just had a Taravangian-on-the-day-of-the-Diagram level of creativity while showering. I got out and immediately wrote this. I have no idea where it’s going, but BOY HOWDY is that a good opening.

So over in FGaRS, I’m running a meme competition. It’s pretty basic, people anonymously submit their memes to the team of judges (currently consisting of only me, but plans are in place to expand it), we choose a winner, and move on to the next round. The part we’re having trouble with is submitting the memes anonymously. I had been using some intermediaries, people would PM their submissions to them, who would pass them on to me. But that system didn’t work too well. Adding a middleman like that tended to slow the whole process down, and if the intermediaries had technical difficulties, the entire contest is put on hold. (That’s where we are right now.) So I was wondering if I could be allowed to make a second account, just called “meme competition submissions” or something. Then I’d share the password with the contestants, and when they are ready to submit, they just login to this account and PM me their submission, completely anonymous. So would I be allowed to do this? Edit: Another reason I’d like to do this is because I’d prefer to keep the entire process within the Shard. Some people might have problems accessing third-party sites or services, the one thing I know with certainty that everyone can access is the Shard itself.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I can no longer spend this much time on the Shard. It’s taking up too much time, time that I should really be using for more important things. So I think this is goodbye, probably permanently. Maybe I’ll hop back on whenever a book is released or something, but other than that you probably won’t see me around.

My school’s attendance/tardy policy is so messed up that if I can tell that I’m going to be 10 seconds late, it makes more sense to just stay home and wait for 2nd hour to start, and then go to second hour on time.
This may or may not be how my morning is currently going.
