  1. Well that makes things interesting, then. IIRC the only way to actually move a player's vote is using Prince/Princess (), so that would mean we suddenly have 4 of them using their powers. And they don't seem to be coordinated: 1 on Arin, 1 on Steel, 1 on Devotary, 1 not doing anything at all. A part of me wants to think that 1 of the 4 has to be Jeskeri, but speculation like that is one of the things that lost the village MR28: every one of the 5 Scholars were village, so I'm hesitant.
  2. I haven't been taking notes on the lynch results, but I can't remember anyone mentioning it.
  3. Can you expound on what about it felt weird? I thought his guess that a Jeskeri was taken by the Shaod right as Aman was killed was a bit out there, but I'm more suspicious of Seonid's second vote on Devotary than DK's vote on her. I agree, for your reasons plus I'd rather lynch a Jeskeri that could drive discussion and kill normal people, not just one that could kill Elantrians only. If the Jeskeri kill starts hitting Elantrians only, or stops entirely, I'll start advocating for lynches on Elantrians. I don't remember Straw or King Cole voting, either. Just double-checked, and unless I'm blind we have 3 Princes running around, Lopen +2 others. I agree with Lopen: I don't see why you shouldn't tell us. It tells us that X player had X item at one point, and they had a free action that Night--not much for the Jeskeri to work with--but it might help us figure out whether or not the Jeskeri were involved in Aman's poisoning, something that the Jeskeri would already know.
  4. The vibe I got from your post was that you wanted to agree with Lopen, but you do have a fair point I guess. Darn, I wasn't planning on switching my vote this late. Walin. Seonid. I'm not liking the way that he double-poked Devotary. Devotary would have had incentive to post with just one vote, and a second at the time when the vote was not yet solidified gives me a funky vibe.
  5. I'm not sure if Drought knew he would be going inactive. Last cycle he promised an analysis post that never arrived, and I don't think he would have promised it had he known he wouldn't be able to deliver. More likely he's caught up in something that came out of the blue.
  6. I don't think Arinian is evil, because I know of his playstyle from past games and it would be his style to poison himself early. Plus, I haven't seen anything to suggest he was working with Araris. I still think Walin is the best lynch candidate: he appears to be trying to buddy up to Lopen, but what he said about having 3 equal reads isn't consistent with Lopen's analysis which he says he's following. I suspect he might be trying to appear village by claiming to follow Lopen's suspicions.
  7. In my defense, I snuck that post in with my laptop in physics class when I needed to be taking notes on that lecture so I didn't have time to be anything but blunt. I also only accused two players primarily, but I listed my two backup theories that although I was not actively suspicious of I could see as Sophie. Maybe I wasn't clear: I suspected one of Orlok or Bort as an opportunistic Sophie, but if they both turned out village I named who I would look at next.
  8. "TK421 do you copy?" "Yessir, TK421 here, I copy." "Are you at your post?" "At my post." "TK421 why aren't you at your post?" TK421 shook his head in exasperation. "Status update?" "No sign of movement. Wait... we have a movement from Eternum." [I'm typing this up and he just posted, lol. This'll change my plans for this RP.] "Do you think it's suspicious?" "It doesn't look aggressive. He might be attempting to make Orlok unconvertable again." Turnover is at 1 a.m. for me, so I'm going to stay up to see the results but don't expect any posts or PMs from me, because I'll be off to bed. Edit: Forgot that Joe is sick. NVM, I'm off to bed now.
  9. "This is the day you will always remember as the day you almost killed God-King Susebron." -Lightsong "And I would have gotten away with it, too, if it hadn't been for you meddling bridgemen!" -Sadeas, after The Tower "I'm not a psychopath; I'm a high-functioning sociopath. There's a difference." -Kelsier
  10. Why are you finding an even likelihood of elim-ness between the 3 if you agree with Lopen's analysis? Lopen put Steel as slightly village, Joe as neutral and paranoid, and Straw as slightly elim-y. Those ware 3 different likelihoods of elim-ness.
  11. I don't think you read my post right. Quoting from it, emphasis mine: I didn't address no-lynch voting because TBH the idea didn't occur to me and the rules didn't specify that there could be a no-lynch vote. I didn't act like a D1 lynch would help us, I acted like the D1 lynch would help Sophie so we should exercise discretion on who we killed D1, mitigating the danger of killing a valuable asset by killing a player who hadn't even posted.
  12. Lopen pointed this out, but I disagree with his response because this reminds me of something I did once as an elim. What I did was I used "Lopen or Aman is an elim", because they were at each other's throats, and when one of them died as village I could push a mislynch on the other. Walin might be setting a similar thing up here: once Lopen or I die, by lynch or elim kill, he can use that to throw suspicion on the other of us. Walin. This is the best lead I have right now; hopefully I can get something better.
  13. Assuming no evidence comes to light that would oppose Rand's claim, we should end the Rand lynch, fast. My next-to-top suspect is Drought, and he still hasn't come forward with that analysis post. I was reading village on his attempts to speak more, and still am, but I haven't got a solid read on him and I think there's a chance that he's Sophie. To put in a kill or conversion, you only need to be on once. Joining Orlok on Drought also gets the lynch solidly away from Rand; the only vote now left on him is @Eternum.
  14. Right now I'm seeing Cadmium Compounder (can we call him CadCom?), Drought, Kynedath/Jondesu, Arinian, and HH. Arinian and HH were Shaod (or poison), and the first three started there IIRC. I'm thinking that there might be a Jeskeri Elantrian, because otherwise the only way that the Jeskeri could know what was going on in Elantris would be to poison one of their own, trust the word of a village Elantrian, or wait for the Shaod to take one of them. I think I might have had a slight village toneread on Arin before he went to Elantris, but it's not like we've been getting lots of posts from him to get reads on. HH I have no read on.
  15. But by this reasoning, Devotary would be a good target... I'm not entirely sure, but I think I agree with you on this. The Bort lynch gave us some information about Rand. Last cycle I was hesitant to lynch Rand because I thought he might have caught Sophie!Bort. Now that Bort has flipped village, I know that Rand's analysis wasn't accurate. That in and of itself isn't an evil thing, but it's no longer giving me good vibes to cancel out the evil vibes from that clarification question that sounded like distancing that Orlok pointed out. At the beginning of the cycle, Drought was also on my suspects list because he wasn't saying anything that could give me a read on him, potentially on purpose. Even though Drought hasn't finished his analysis yet, his efforts to speak more sound village, so I'm going to go ahead and put my vote on Randuir.
  16. I'm struggling to find something to talk about that I haven't already voiced opinions on, so I'm going to poke-vote Joe. @A Joe in the Bush, do you think that the Gyorn has sworn an Odiv yet? And why do you think that Eternum was killed?
  17. I vote for Aman. He did this last year and represented us exceptionally well, and I wouldn't be against seeing a repeat performance.
  18. The object is accomplishing this by changing the location of its center of mass (which changes the moment of inertia). That move wouldn't work if your Steelpush came from your center of mass, regardless of where it was.
  19. Drought is similar to Eternum: more-or-less inactive. I'd rather see Elandera shielded than Drought.
  20. Surprise, I'm probably an idiot and nextmorning!Len will regret this, but I'm on to see turnover. Not moving my vote, though.
