  1. No others that I know of, although my personal opinions target the books of Chronicles as reruns of Kings.
  2. Two Three questions: 1. Will we receive our roles before the game begins or will they be dispensed at the beginning of the game? 2. Is the first 24 hours a day cycle or a night cycle? 3. What doc system do we use? If it's Google Docs then I will need to create a Google account before playing.
  3. I am a Mormon, and the first prophet of our church, Joseph Smith, actually made a note on this subject that is now incorporated into a footnote in our Bibles. It states, "the Songs of Solomon are not inspired writings." For this reason it is rarely referred to in our church. For more information, see this entry on the church website: https://www.lds.org/scriptures/bd/song-of-solomon?lang=eng (JST in the entry stands for Joseph Smith Translation). What are your views on the book?
  4. Well, it's sure more helpful than the Song of Solomon!
  5. I have grown up with a Windows as my primary computer all of my life, but I have had to learn to use Macs because my elementary school used exclusively Macs. Here's my breakdown of the matchup. (Note: this is for desktop computers) Price: Windows. With all of the money that a Mac takes you could even upgrade your PC with some new RAM, etc. Ease of Use: Tie. It really depends on what you're used to. Virus defense: Mac/Tie. A good antivirus can bring your Windows up to or past Mac level. Troubleshooting Ease: Windows. No question on this one. Program accessibility: Windows. Much more software out there runs Windows than Mac. Dependability: Mac. If you don't want to think about your computer's health, get a Mac. Customizability: Windows. Macs just aren't made to be modified. Overall, I much prefer Windows compared to any other OS, due to the ease of use (for me), the good prices, and the ease of troubleshooting.
  6. As far as I can tell, VOIP is able to be used but not necessarily the default in all cases. I can't help you more because I'm not a fan of the Google Data Dump either.
  7. Warning: do not eat the cookies. Consider yourself warned.
  8. Whatever they say, don't eat the cookies!!
  9. Don't eat the cookie!!
  10. And I thought you were going all Sherlock Holmes on me.
  11. Yes, I am in fact 19 months and one day older than Ecthelion III, although I have little idea how you deduced that, @Daniyah. As for the Ecthelion titling, my brother's username is based off of Ecthelion, a fictional character from The Lord of the Rings who slew a Balrog with his helmet (although he did die in the process). In LOTR there is also Ecthelion II, a miscellaneous Steward of Gondor. My brother's character, therefore, is Ecthelion III. My username, although it sounds a bit like Ecthelion, is actually a corrupted form of an Elven word.
  12. There are powerful arguments for both sides, but I think that if you want a career in professional writing then you will need to use English. That being said, I would suggest storybuilding and drafting in your native language, because your ideas will flow more naturally when your mind can express them in a familiar way. When it comes to dialogue, I prefer to base it off of what actual people in my life would say. Since it doesn't sound like you live near an abundance of English speakers, use the internet to ask people what they would say in certain situations. Maybe even make it into a role-playing thing: "Your father has just revealed to you that he can move objects with his mind. What do you say to convince him to help you cheat on your physics practical exam?" Find some people whose natural voices fit your characters, then use their words.
  13. Why hello there sir. Nice avatar...
  14. Just a warning: first time player here. But don't play easy on me because of it.
  15. Please sign me up. My character is Ashkelon, a Dula villager with as much greed as common sense.
  16. Hello, folks! I'm Elenion, brother of Ecthelion III.
  17. I am not a stick. Instead, I am Elenion. I've read the first three Mistborn books and Elantris, and was recruited to the forum by my brother to play Sanderson Elimination. And, before you ask, I don't want any cookies.
