  1. TBH the best way I have to get off that list is to roleclaim, and I think it will do more good than harm given my role. I'm a Prince as well. D1 I moved Dalinar Kholin onto Honey Badger to announce my presence. My proof that that one was me is that I consistently recommend village vote manips to announce their presence D1.
  2. Only in Utah! (No, it wasn't me. But I do have a FANGORN license plate.)
  3. I'm going to vote on Dalinar as well. Although the Derethi are a bigger threat at the moment, we have an alignment scanner and a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. (A Bird in the Hand is worth A Joe in the Bush?) But I agree with Wilson that we need to focus on the Derethi today, and if we get a good enough lynch target from that discussion then I'll switch my vote onto them from Dalinar. I just don't want to give up a Dalinar lynch for a probable mislynch.
  4. One attack on Wilson? Slight possibility of WGG if you tinfoiled. Wasting 2 kills on Wilson? I really doubt it. Also, the first Jindo is recharged, so that should deter the elims from hitting Wilson for the next few cycles. First: the Derethi. Last Day there were only 5 converts, so that's 3 new ones. We know of one Pendant used since then, but Pendants usually end in no net gain of a convert. I guess one could if the person using it was a permanent convert in addition to having the Pendant, so they didn't lose their own convert status. 3 new converts also means that the Odiv has finally shown themself. For the Odiv to convert N4 means that they were made at latest N3. I have a gut feeling that they've been around longer than that, but held back converting until now so that we couldn't pinpoint the night they were converted. They could have been made as early as N1: there were 3 Converts D2. One was Araris who got lynched. Two was me with the Pendant. We still haven't found three, and they still haven't claimed, which makes me suspicious. There's one thing that bugs me with this theory: if the Odiv wasn't going to do anything until N4, why would the Gyorn convert them early and run the risk of them getting killed by accident? So maybe the Odiv wasn't made until N3 until the pool of converts was larger. D4 it was declared as 5, which is two more, but still not a massive field. So I don't know. Either the Gyorn held back until N3 for an unknown reason, or the Odiv held back until N4 for an unknown reason. Aaand Lopen just did this same analysis. @TheMightyLopen I think you miscounted: I count 19 living players. Second, the Jeskeri. I agree with the person who said that there were likely 5 to start (Lopen maybe?). We've found 2, and we can narrow the field by process of elimination. I'm a bit sus of Kidpen and Seonid, but I wouldn't support a lynch on either of them without more info. Hopefully the Priest can get their scan info to the thread so that we can begin to tighten the noose. I want to clear the Jeskeri from the palace before we start looking through Elantris, because the Elantrians can't defend themselves and so without hard evidence it wouldn't be very sportsmanlike IMO. My Jeskeri analysis is far from done, but I need sleep because finals week begins tomorrow. Maybe I'll actually get more than 6 hours if I can keep myself off of the Shard.
  5. Lopen I've got a slight-to-moderate village read on. He said that the Priest scanned him, and if he had lied about that I think the scanner could have gotten that to the thread by now. He could be a Jeskeri packing a Korathi Pendant, but his actions also seem village, plus his tone. He's a good player, though, and we don't have hard evidence, so he's not completely cleared to me, but if I had to guess I'd say he's village. Seonid I'm a bit suspicious of because of that bandwagon poke incident. I wouldn't advocate for his lynch based on that alone, but I wouldn't mind it if the Priest scanned him just to be safe. I'd say right now Kidpen is more suspicious than Seonid to me. And because discussion's on him right now, I'll throw in Steel: Steeldancer I'm not sure about. Could be an elim under the rader, could be a villager dealing with the problems of trying to RP everything. I can't remember seeing anything alignment indicative from him.
  6. Hold on: Steel isn't that old of a player. Wilson, Lopen, Seonid, myself, and probably others have all played many more games than he has. So why bring up Steel? Also, Joe is officially gone; he's been swapped out for Coop772. Gyorn is immune to the Shaod. They could have poisoned themself, but I think it's been too long for any of the current Elantrians to have been poisoned. I'm thinking the Derethi might have gotten their hands on it, because I don't see a reason for a villager or Jeskeri to want to use one on a lynch that it could not stop, while a Derethi would see a conversion opportunity. I had a Pendant passed to me and I passed it on, so it might have just kept circulating around until it reached a Derethi. Along those lines, did anyone pass a Derethi Pendant N3? Reads: Imperial Mint: neutral.
  7. Or he just used or passed them both. But Araris was short one item for being vanilla, so that does support your new theory. Or it could have been a stalling tactic intended to give him one more cycle and likely cause a mislynch that cycle. Not saying the elims don't have a Pendant, but it isn't the only explanation. Harder to lynch, plus the elims would control when the surprise second death happened. Not as scary as an evil Priest, but more so than an evil Prince, Monarch, etc. Also, that lynch has changed/set/reinforced a few of my reads: The Priest: almost certainly village. That would be one mean bus on a teammate. Joe/Coop: village. Apparently he's tied into this whole mess, and Wilson said that his alignment was likely the same as the Priest's IIRC Straw: village. Jumped right onto the Drake bandwagon, was not on to retract a vote. Either the elims decided to bus Drake early on, or he's innocent. DK: village. Same reason as Straw Len: village (of course). Collected the evidence Drake was eventually lynched on. Wilson: village. Told me to extract a claim from Drake. Pyro: iffy. He didn't join the bandwagon straight away, but joined after a more detailed explanation was given. Kidpen: a bit elim-y. Didn't join the Drake bandwagon until he had claimed outright, even though Kidpen had posted multiple times before that point and withheld their vote.
  8. Joe voted on himself and Coop never retracted it, so it shows as Coop voting on Coop. I dunno about Drake's vote.
  9. The mighty Voidus shows his face, and in the introductions forum no less? *is definitely Voidus' paparazzi*
  10. He literally just told everyone he was evil, so I'll take that.
  11. I find last-second votes like that to be IKYK. Players purposefully do stuff like that just to throw others off, so I personally just ignore those votes altogether.
  12. @Drake Marshall And here I was just about to make a "I'm truly sorry if I got you mislynched" post.
  13. The other guy was actually me. I wander through this subforum periodically on the way to SE.
  14. There could be 2 Jindos. A Jeskeri Pendant with the Jeskeri would be a way to balance that out, because it's a one-time double-tap that they could use to drop a Jindo even if they were in a protection agreement with the other. I think he was saying to a village!Drake would have had better reason to tell me about a Pendant than lie about it.
  15. I agree with Wilson: 1. Drake told me he didn't have a Pendant. 2. Drake scanned as Jeskeri. There are two things that could have happened, since lying scanner is basically impossible since Drake didn't contest the scan: Jeskeri!Drake and lying!Drake. If Drake was lying!Drake, he would say that, and if he was Jeskeri!Drake he would claim lying!Drake. I've heard players make crazier claims to delay their deaths by a cycle. In this case, there was nothing that would have given Drake the incentive to lie. Both the village and the Jeskeri would have liked to see the Gyorn killed, so defending a factionmate is out. A pendant isn't a vital item to this game, so Drake thinking that I was info-fishing and then lying is also unlikely, particularly given the tone of the rest of his post.
  16. Wilson claims that they are in contact with her and Joe basically backed that up by not going "what in the AonDor?" when she mentioned his name in conjunction with it. The scanner has probably asked for anonymity so they don't pick up an elim kill.
  17. I know at least one reason why Wilson was stalling, and it's time for me to bring it to light. I received a PM from her at the beginning of this cycle, asking me to serve as an intermediary between her and Drake. The Priest claimant apparently told her that they scanned Drake as a Jeskeri, and Wilson wanted me to discreetly find out whether or not Drake was a villager with a Jeskeri Pendant. I used my seon to contact Drake early this cycle, and told him a bogus story about receiving a PM from a player I thought was the Gyorn, and so I was looking for a Pendant. Drake just barely claimed to me to not have any Pendants. This means that he's not a villager with a Jeskeri Pendant, and so only two options remain: 1. Drake is a Jeskeri, scanned by the Priest, and now he can't lie and say he has a Pendant 2. The Priest is evil, as Wilson was paranoid about. I think the first option has a 90% chance of being right, because it's too early in the game for an elim Priest claimant to make a suicide gamble like that. As a result, we can lynch an almost-confirmed Jeskeri in Drake, and if we succeed then we can clear the Priest claimant without having to lynch them or Joe.
  18. I think they're holding back, so that we don't know when they were created. The Gyorn has had plenty of time to make an Odiv, and I doubt many actions would take precedence over a conversion, so the other options just don't hold water IMO. Also, if there's another Jindo out there, I think protecting Wilson would be a darn good idea tonight. Because the first Jindo will be on recharge, I put the chance of a second go at Wilson very high.
  19. Write it first as a non-Sanderson, and then change the names of the roles and abilities until it fits a Sanderson novel of your choice.
  20. Additionally, we know that Koloss are not quite true-breeding, because of the need for spikes.
  21. If I'm lynched, my projections show LyLo next cycle, so only move on Drought if you're sure he's elim. If he's lynched, we'll see his alignment very soon.
  22. Thanks for doing the leg work. That gives me a bit less pause then 3 Princes coming out of the blue this lynch, but 2 is still a lot of vote manip to suddenly show up like that. Maybe they were just announcing their presence: only the vote on Arin really had relevance to the lynch.
