  1. I am not sure about that, it is like saying that Preservation and Ruin aren't existing either now.
  2. @Halyo_Alex I think I am with you on this. I kind of feel like they fuse with their spren. Which is the reason why once someone has said their 5th ideal, they can only break their bond with death. This is why for Sky Breakers, they must 'become the law'. They become the law by fusing with their spren, who embodies law.
  3. Nice. I was thinking about Lift, and how she can touch spren, maybe this could be something like 'transcending the three realms' thing that you are thinking that atium could do.
  4. I'm not sure that you can recreate Adolalsium again. Like, multiple shards have been splintered, even if you could put them back together, could you put them back to their original intent? I am not sure. And with Harmony existing, could that mess up things? And Cultivation+Preservation is Sustainability. You can have a sustained growth, it would just make sure things are sustainable.
  5. To me, when we saw the Nightwatcher, It seemed like she was trying to train the Nightwatcher. Maybe the Nightwatcher won't take up a bond? I could see it perhaps being Cord.
  6. I mean, I'd argue that radiant spren might be able to be split in half and create two different spren. We have seen flame spren do that kind of thing I believe right? Now whether it is a good experience.. I don't know.
  7. Honestly, all Odium's people that we have seen, are corrupted. What single thing that fights for him that is just his power alone? He didn't create the Singer's, Spren, Surges, and my guess, probably not even the Unmade. The only form of his magic that he didn't corrupt, is his metal I believe. Am I missing anything else?
  8. It is possible that Edgli has died/given up the shard so she isn't a shard anymore. Although timeline is kind of... Whack, what counts as 'current'?
  9. There was a wob that Wayne would be an edgedancer, albeit a wierd one at that.
  10. I mean arguably how someone is invested, makes them 'partial' cognitive shadows, like Brando talks about how to become a radiant your mind/whatever has to be partially broken and you fill the broken part with investiture.
  11. I feel like this question doesn't really grasp Odium really, or any of the shards. Odium, like all shards are more like forces of nature. How do you deal with the rain? Do you blow up the rain? Make the humidity go all the way down? No, you simply deal with it. Like how would you 'deal' with Honor? Odium is in the hearts of men just as Honor is, I find questions like these somewhat silly.
  12. I now just want Blitzball from FFX except it is in the cosmere.
  13. This was something I always thought was similar, though there is something different, the Elantrians are still 'human'(well, human plus?) and the Heralds are cognitive shadows, but I am not sure that makes a huge difference. Elantris spoilers
  14. I do wonder if people who view themselves as good but is actually evil would work. Or someone who themselves don't think in the confines of evil. Like if you gave it to a lifeless, would the 'evil' be based of of the lifeless's commands then?
  15. But I want a world where Nightblood feels inadequate with his body and jealous. "I am still useful you know, you need to make me out of my sheathe more!". Or someone just taking for granted Nightblood thinking he is just a sword and doesn't even think about picking him up.
  16. Most likely not, because it having 'free will' isn't the thing that is prohibiting it being a god. Oddly it having an itent, is the thing that makes it not be godly to me. If it could actually decided to go against it's intent, then it might be able to be more godly in my eyes.
  17. I don't really consider the shard's gods. They themselves don't seem to have consciousness themselves, and even when they have vessels, it still grinds them with their intent. You know that Frost quote about Odium?: "He bears the weight of God's own divine hatred, separated from the virtues that gave it context." That could be said of any shard. I could say this about any shard. How can you be a God when you can only preserve? And only destroy? An average person can create an omelet and then eat it. And a shard can't? They are pieces of a God. Large pieces, but still just a piece. I see them more of forces of nature, like the wind, the tide, weather or a hurricane. A shard doesn't do what it does because it is good or bad, it is doing so because it is it's intent.
  18. Is it possible that Nightblood could also have Valor's investiture in them? Did we get a look at the blade in Shadesmar?
  19. Just because they lead to bad things doesn't make them evil.
  20. I mean, Radiant spren are God spren, and the Dor and Harmony could potentially have as much spren as cult/honor has. But I think single shards might be able to only have one type of spren? Which is why Odium's is just called voidspren? Unless we have seen multiple types of voidspren?
  21. He is trying to get off of Scadrial, but has trouble because of the investiture stuff. I feel like he has been getting the Ghostbloods to gather a lot of investiture and find a way to transport it off planet so he can try to balance out the investiture that he has now so he can world hop to other places.
  22. I don't think any of the Shard's is better than another, but they sure can have better vessels. I think Edgli has a good head on her shoulder, given how she made the Returned.
