  1. I might be confusing myself or mis remembering, but don't we learn some of the Lift's in Urithru are spren who chose to manifest as fabrials to be in the physical realm? Like spren want to be in the physical realm? I feel like there was something like this in the book, can someone help remind me or am I crazy?
  2. One thing metal and anti investiture works wierd(honestly metal and investiture works wierd works on it's own). Raysium was used to kill Raboniel/daughter with anti-voidlight and it did not immediately blow up.(now once the point of contact out of it, it might have) But this tells us that either Raysium is different than the other God metals, or anti investiture auto blow up the opposite God metal. I would like someone to ask Brandon about this, it seems like a little plot hole to me if he didn't intend it this way. So it might be possible that Night blood could be anti-investiture. If it is, what kind of anti-investiture could it be? And what would be the right terminology for an anti-invested thing/being? Anti-invested? Anvested?(I think I like this one the best, this shorter)
  3. You have made me wonder what would a combined D&d would be.. Best thing I could think is Allegiance. It fits, but I would love a D word. But I digress, I wonder how Sanderson will show the difference of Honor and Valor, they seem similar to me.
  4. I kind of thought Hoid was talking about a different contract, one that the original shards agreed to, rather than the Dalinar/Odium agreement. But I only read it once and it was never clear to me.
  5. I do think the unmade, Renarin and the Fused aren't great examples. Some of the Unmade seem to be more pieces of other shards corrupted by Odium. Renarin is super wierd with kind of using the bond powers of radiants but also using a radiant spren corrupted by an unmade(which again is wacky themselves). Then we got the Fused, who possibly could have been some of the original 'radiants' that got power from honor/Cultivation, but again corrupted by Odium. So like... Odium loves to just corrupt other people's investiture and make it his own. I don't mean to dismiss your work, but Odium loves to work this way. I honestly am not sure what his actual powers are, given most of his army we have seen are more corrupted people than seemingly his own powers? Would corrupting someone's investiture give them different powers? Would it grant the corrupted powers of the one corrupting them or just change how they work? We really don't have these answers I don't think?
  6. I do think the Fused might have been with Honor/Cultivation first, given their red eyes with Odium corrupting them.
  7. I personally think Honor lied/broke an oath, which led him to get weak/die to Odium.
  8. I couldn't stand the narrator myself. I just finished the Lies of Locke Lamora, so I started the second book.
  9. Which shards do yall think will help Roshar? Hoid/Sazed has been putting out a lot of requests for shards to come help deal with Odium, who do you think will help? Who will help? Will Sazed help? How?
  10. I think Honor/Odium/Cultivation has a deal to not go onto other worlds(which is why Odium can't leave, and why spren can't leave the system), and maybe Honor broke it and it killed him. Something like that.
  11. I think Honor broke a deal, which caused him to become weak opening a hole into his...soul?
  12. To be honest I think the Gavinor/child champion is just bad taste, I feel like it is so cheap.
  13. Kingdom of White....Oddly...this makes sense.
  14. I feel like different types of even the same investiture uses different attributes. For example much of Sel and Fabrials would mostly use intellect, while Nahel Bonds and Mistborn is much more of an aggressive/body focused type of abilities.
  15. Like, you could use it once every X amount of cooldown, which you can teleport at specific places that are already place on the map. For example you might be able to teleport to the bottom lane, or a merc camp/boss. But these would be specific places, that everyone already knows is at. But it could change per map. I honestly don't see mana being a thing for this character, you could I guess. Maybe make it so you need atleast one breath to have to use your W/E/R, but lore wise could get them back easily, I don't see the amount of breathes hindering your abilities, for this character atleast. Now if you want to go a more full awakened character, I could see you having a certain amount of breathes, and you having to juggle using an ability that takes breathes then having like an E ability to get those back to use it on something else. That could be cool.
  16. Vasher Melee Tank Returned Created by apepi Autoattack: hit with a blade. Medium damage. Fast base attack speed. Z - Worldhopper: Is able to teleport to specific perpendicularities. Q - Vasher Slash: You deal an attack with your blade, dealing more damage the more damaged you are. W - Kalad's Phantom: Summon a Phantom to attack a target that you commanded it attack. E - Awakaned Scarf: Throw out a scarf and slow down your enemy, which slowly loosens more and more. R(1) - Nightblood: You draw Nightblood, Vasher Slasher damage is maximized and targets hit by it and your auto attacks decrease the damage of your enemies. Using this hastily decreases your Breath. R(2) - My Life to Yours: You target an hero and give them your Breath. They are stunned for a medium duration then yheir damage and health increase for an amount of time. D - Breath: Passive Ability: The closer that you are to other heroes, you slowly gain Breath. Breaths reduce the damage that you take. Talent ideas: Z - Roshar: You gain more perpendicularities to teleport to. Q - Trained Ardent: Your attack now always deal an average amount of damage, no longer based on your health. W - Statue Guardian: After your Phantom's duration is up, it turns into a statue. After an amount of time it comes back one last time. W - Lifeless: Your Phantom no longer has a duration, but slowly decreases your breathes. E - Ninth Heightening: After your Awakened Scarf duration ends, you can once more redirect where it fell of the target. R(1) (20 ult upgrade) - Destroy Evil: You can now throw Nightblood, if an enemy is hit, they take Nightblood, which increases their damage, but they will kill everyone that they see. R(2) (20 ult upgrade) - Divine Breath: You grant an ally your Divine Breath, killing yourself in the process but granting them full health and turning themselves into a God King. Giving them: Q - Color Distortion - You create an Aura around you, slowly damaging those around you and you gaining the damaged that you heal. W - Command Break - You target summoned creature or minions and turn them to your side. E - Awakened Rope - You now strangle a target, dealing them damage and stunning them. R - My Breath Become Yours - You heal the closest three allies you full health and kill yourself. Notes: I know I wanted those two to be Vasher's main ults. The passive was somewhat hard, but it might work, though this isn't how it works lore wise, but it is close. Vasher's Q was hard to come up with. I don't remember him having any specific sword attacks, so I went with this one. I like the ult upgrades, though they might not necessarily always be upgrades, I like to make people make some hard decisions. The god king abilities were hard, I don't remember how they exactly work, so I think what I went with here was fine. I feel like I hit the finer points of the character. It might have been fun to make heightening give you different things as the more you got, but I feel like that is hard to pull off mechanically.
  17. So Vasher gave away their breaths for there to be a God King to a priest(of the cult of returned?). But...I don't see anything about that priest, the first God King, being an actual Returned themselves? I mean it is possible that they were a Returned, but they seem nondescript, just a priest(or "that priest") and that they were male. And I find it odd the a priest who is a Returned worshiping themselves? Wouldn't they be the ones worshiped, hence not a priest? While the fourth and fifth God King is a Returned, we haven't seen any signs of the first being one. Brandon does talk about how the God King priesthood do know how Returned can have children, so if the first wasn't a Returned they could have had a still-born Return come in from the second(or third I guess) and them having a child. What do yall think? Was the first God King an actual Returned?
  18. I also was thinking about this earlier and I found these wobs We do know that he gets his immortality through being a dragon. And it looks like he was always a dragon..... So Hoid saying that he is now immortal now is confusing to hell to me...he should have been immortal no matter what? Unless like he is now capital I Immortal now instead of just the age stuff? I am not sure honestly. I do maybe think his non-interventionism might be because he is holding a shard?
  19. What if one of the Edgedancer's is "I will forgive", as they kind of have a forget vibe, being forgiven is similar.
  20. He is associated with gold, I guess that is close to yellow. I find it wierd that his investiture is black violet. Though I guess Tanavast was also goldish.
  21. Uh, how would they do it mechanically? Have a switch to move the cage of the gemstone to another cage to activate the enhanced powers? Because having it at ludicrous duralumin power will just waste stormlight.
  22. I think you are missing a shard I see shards(and albeit cognitive shadows) as forces of nature. You can't really control them, maybe you could try, but eventually they will do what they do. Now you might try to direct their power some way, but it will still be used somewhere. Also I imagine after Whimsy settled down and invested a planet the first thing they did was go get ice cream in another system or something leaving that system for like 100 years without any magic.
  23. I like the idea of Dai-Gonarthis, the idea of not feeling pain and it not being a good thing is something I like. Re-Shephir is cool, I got some theories about her.
