Yellow-white is the color to the Bondsmith's I believe, that is all I got really.(I don't remember any shard being yellow, or any unmade being that color)

Matching the Unmade with the Heralds' madness
apepi replied to mdross81's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I have always assumed Odium's surges has like two of them kind of merged, like adhesion/gravitation being one thing instead of two. And the Singers thought "Oh silly humans". Something like that. -
More just a naughty way of thinking. People always ask if someone can have multiple spren/bonds, but have never asked if a spren could bond multiple people at a time.
-
They were suggesting that Leshwi could also try to bond to Syl.
-
I always assumed all the shards made some deal at the start right before or right after, which also included the one that some of them think shards shouldn't be on the same worlds.
-
Oi, you are right. I forget things like this. I am guessing that you still need to be close to the radiant or their bond will break? Though we don't know how it works if they are in their blade form. We have seen spren mildy forget who they are in the tower attack.

I was going through some WoBs and I found this: This mildly reminds me what happened to Hoid, but more to his investiture I guess.
-
Oh I like you...your naughty.

We know that borrowing shardplate was a thing, but not about blades.

Lift x Stormfather Okay honestly I am being silly here...but Lift is the only person we know who can really touch spren(and they can touch her? idk), so out of anyone she has the possibility of being in a relationship with a spren more than anybody.
-
Also remember the paintings in Warbreaker. I dont remember there being any in Mistborn.

Well, radiants themselves just turn into what they see themselves as, so growing hair isn't a problem for them. But for someone else they could use their power on...I don't know. It could be possible, if they imagine that they should have hair. But like, this isn't a huge problem that they are in war, any stormlight and such is being used to heal people, not to do quality of life changes. Like this is one of the plot points of the book, they havent had a lot of time doing science and stuff because they are always at war, but the only reason they have developed fabrials and other things is that the desolations have stopped. But they didn't have radiants, so they couldnt do any testing with those powers.

Isn't Leshwi currently in a male body right now? Though she could get into a female one, I don't think Odium would give her one. I think Kaladin is straight? I don't remeber any signs of him being naythign else otherwise. The relationship would certainly be wierd, but maybe people would like that? I can see as interesting, it could have a wierd transsexual vibe to it that some might want. And Leshwi could also bond a spren, which could change her body. I do think Kaladin does need someone as strong as he is, I don't think he will could just love someone who hasn't dealt with the same things that he has, so Leshwi would be a good choice.

Dalinar using Nightblood seems so scary...but I love it. It makes some sense, Dalinar won't be able to use a shard blade(stormfather can't turn into one) and can't hold a dead one. So he is going to have to use some weapon in the contest if he does it himself.

Do we think we could end up seeing a 'full' radiant? One that has access to all the surges? I think that would be pretty cool.

It might have to do with intent. People don't grow hair because they aren't intending to try to grow hair.

Horneaters are agents of Cultivation – a Theory
apepi replied to voxtruth's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Aren't their food a lot of people don't like? It is too hard? And does not put a lot of spice in it. Also they have like the strongest alcohol their is. -
So I was thinking about Raysium and anti-lights. And while it conducting anti-stormlight makes sense to me...it doing anti-voidlight doesn't. Shouldn't the anti-voidlight and Raysium blow up? Like Raysium is a manifestation of the Odium. But it didn't, it worked. Does this mean different manifestations of an investiture can work with it's opposite anti as they both are in different forms? Raysium and anti-voidlight works, so anti-voidmetal and void light should work without blowing up?

So I was thinking of fabrials and how they are similar to Allomancy a little bit(and feruchemy). And we saw Kaladin using the glove and it was effective. Could we see like an ironman, err fabrialman? Someone with a bunch of fabrials to the point they are similar in power to a radiant/allomancer/feruchemist? I think it would be awesome.

Maybe...he will just develop a normal Nahel Bond with Maya and not a Radiant one? We haven't seen that before yet with humans.

"Anything you can do, I can do ... just as well?"
apepi replied to Ixthos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Oh, I forgot about that, thanks. Like normally to use a shard, you must fit the identity or have connection(I am not sure which?) to the shard that you would be the vessel for. But like metalminds, you can 'unseal' them somehow(like the Bands of Mourning), so that anyone could use it's abilities without having identity or even being an allomancer/feruchemist. So...could you make the shard be 'unsealed', where you don't have to fit the shard? It could allow you to do what ever you want with the power, like for Preservation for example, you could hurt people with it instead of just preserving. -
I am not sure there is any connection thing that is happening...unless they are beating them up, forcing them to go to a certain place, then Ishar is there with the Honorblade to mess with their connection to make them physical? The people that beat them up didn't seem to have the honorblade or any way to make them be able to use connection like Ishar does.
-
Well, we know that they were beating the crap out of spren. I always imagined they were beating them then going to somehow capture them and then go through an oathgate and take them with them. Pattern and Syl might be different as they have a bond with being in the realm that they are with, so maybe spren normally going through an oathgate is wierd? We haven't heard the spren using them right? I always thought spren could kind of almost switch from the cognitive realm and the physical at will. Or maybe beating the rust out of them isn't to capture them, but the method? We know for both allomancy and the radiant bond, your spiritual mind kind of has to be broken/hurt to allow investiture in, maybe they were doing something similar to spren, trying to make their cognitive selves make a physical body?
