  1. What if he is telling the story to the Ire? Out of anyone, they would understand the references the most, maybe.
  2. Been looking through the coppermind for salt. Kabsal used salt for Cymatics. Denth robbed most of T’Tellir 's salt. Emul likes salty food. Yeddaw has a salty pancake. Roshar having salt water fish. The robbing could be more than it appears, maybe he was afraid of salt being used against him, or maybe the salt was stolen to be sold off world to this planet? His reasoning did seem a bit off to me. But I am not sure how important that any of these actually are.
  3. I hated the "Athletic not feminine" is a bad line, women can be athletic. The whole thing is like saying a women couldn't have tucked and rolled. Maybe like..Athletic not lazy or lethargic?
  4. Only can die on a leap day.
  5. Honestly I feel like he is trying for an Adam Douglas/Terry Pratchett feel out of this book, which I wouldn't expect from him. He's doing an okayish job at it so far.
  6. Maybe they are anti-Adonalsium, and they don't want another one. Maybe lead by people who helped split them but didn't get any shards. They could act as a force to try to make sure the shards stay away from each other, trying to prevent that from happening. While Hoid is trying to put him back together, maybe thinking he did a mistake(or for some other reason). Pro Adonalsium: Hoid? Iri? Arclo? Anti Adonalsium: Odium, Autonmy, other shards? Frost Seventeenth Shard Sleepless? Neutral: Ire Ghostbloods?
  7. There is mention of a deadrunner. It sounds worse than being a pirate? Maybe it is a risky job. Maybe has to deal with dead spores? Or maybe a place where it is more likely for spores to activate and spores to become dead?
  8. I mean, I don't think we have any good set info on when this story is I think. I do think the tin Iriali, cup will be important, probably invested.
  9. I seems people don't only add salt to their food, but also water. The equipment that worked in the salt mines cause black smoke(is that normal?).
  10. I am guessing they are more..similes of fish/elephant seals. Not exactly the same thing, but they get their point across to the listener. They swim in the spores I assume.
  11. My thoughts: 1. New world, new character. 2. Non-cosmere, alternate world stuff? 3. World hopper or aether stuff? The girl is kind of giving me spren vibes, idk. 4. Ashyn stuff? My idea is this is the book with the character that we already know of, maybe Ishar? I do feel like this book is placed after stormlight 5 because it could spoil stormlight 5.
  12. I was thinking that you could use hermalurgy. Create a copper hemalurgic sword spike that also slightly pokes you for it to work.
  13. I would love to see hemulargy with fabrials. It could lead to some wierd stuff. I like the idea of none-powered people somehow getting powers.
  14. I made a few of these up a while ago, here you go: Devotion+Dominion=Deference, is a D word and aligns with both of them. Mercy+Odium=Retribution, deals with the offensive part of forgiveness. This one scares me. Ruin+Valor=Defiance. You need to be brave to want to start anew/pull something down. Autonomy+Endowment=Unconstrained Ambition+Whimsy=Enthusiasm, this one is just fun. Cultivation+Invention=Enlightenment Honor+Preservation=Salvation Whimsy+Odium =Mania
  15. It might cost more investiture to do so. Awaking and Forgery would be real fun.
  16. In my mind, this is basically a form of Hemalurgy, but instead of spiking yourselves with spikes from humans(or etc) you are using spren to do so.
  17. I feel like he might be doing to it get a connection with each shard/world perhaps.
  18. When Honor died, the heralds changed. I do wonder, what happens to awakened objects if the person who awakened them dies? Does the investiture go away? Is it awakened forever?
  19. I've always had a hunch that Alendi was a worldhopper. Sadees dies to the disease Raboniel created(I am not sure if timewise this works, but it might).
  20. You have a point on the Herald thing. But Elantrians aren't cognitive shadows, and Hoid I believe isn't either. So they are not good examples. Well...this is my point? Unless we are talking about the Returned that we don't see in Warbreaker.
  21. This is the most updated WoB believe that I have seen. It is seems possible(?), but very extremely difficult to do. My guess is there could be a few ways of going about this. A shard might be able to take a splintered part of another shard and...add it to their own maybe? Like if Odium took a splinter of Ambition, maybe they could really be 'Passion', or maybe a shard could splinter part of themselves and take an intent that they have(like the stormfather) and disown them? Saying that they are no longer part of the shard? So then that shard could reconfigure it's intent. Something like that, just me guessing.
  22. My thought is Tara died, but even though you die, you don't necessarily lose your connect to the physical realm, until they go into the beyond(or maybe slowly lose it). Like, cognitive shadows fill their spirit web with investiture to fill in what was lost, Tara didn't have to do that because he had just died. Maybe in the future we may learn that he is having problems because his connection to the physical realm, but that remains to be seen.
  23. Reminds me of a DnD world I had, where spell materials are the way of getting the copyright of a spell. You use the spell material and it goes to the copyright holder, which they can sell the material for profit. I almost wonder if people could control the ideals of things, like the ideal fire/etc that the flamespren are based off of.
