Dannex Devotary.

hop on the save-burnt train, gears. I’ll pay you back?

Why are you saving Burnt though. I want a game reason, not a frens reason. At this stage that is nowhere near good enough.

Cycle - 6: Burnt to Brown

Burnt was heart-broken. She’d never expected that her closest friend, the closest person in the world to her, would turn out to be a Darkfriend. They’d come for her next, there’s no way they’d believe that she didn’t know about it. But she didn’t care. She’d go with them without a protest. She didn’t care about anything anymore.

She.. she wasn’t mad that Ilyanna had betrayed her. She just wished she had told her about it.

There was genuine kindness in her heart, and I could feel like she was a really good person deep within. If I had known, maybe we could have crossed her over to the light together. Ilyanna! Why didn’t you just tell me?

She collapsed on the floor and barely heard the footsteps approaching, coming for her. By the time a couple of arms grabbed her from the floor, she was already dead.

***

The Black Ajah met for one of their final meetings. They needed to stop these if they were to escape out of this mess unscathed.

“Who’s next?” asked one of the members.

“The Contact says Illwei.” answered another.

“Illwei? Are you serious? Have you seen her Weaves? They have yielded nothing for her in quite a while. She’s very weak in the use of saidar. You were there the other day when she tried to combine the flows of Fire, Air and Spirit which she let loose and accidentally released a lightning bolt which killed poor Faleast. I’d say she’s more useful to us alive!”

“That may be true, but the Contact argues that it is not her Channeling that we need to be worried about. It’s the part of her that makes her a White Ajah. They are deeply passionate in their search for truth, and this clearly shows in her. She’s been helpful, even instrumental in finding and rooting out the rest of us. For us to even have a chance of getting out of this, she needs to go.”

The questioner seemed troubled by this answer. There was no arguing against the Contact’s choices, of course. But the fact that he didn’t know about this was troubling indeed.

“It’ll be done.” he grunted, as they dispersed away from one of their last meetings.

Burnt Spaghetti was eliminated. She was a Rebel Aes Sedai of the order Brown Ajah.
Illwei was killed. She was a Rebel Aes Sedai of the order White Ajah.

SHOOT RATS FRICK

Okay, that sucks. I guess Dannex and Devo and I are on the chopping block. I will lay down my argument for why you should shrek Devo and not me in three hours time, after work.

So does this confirm elim!Danex? I would like to think it does. People said that elim!Burnt would confirm vil!Danex, so obviously the converse should be true. Danex

@Breaker, @Gears, why do you trust each other enough to give your vote away to the other? Who did you Blue Ajah scan? Starting to think you're an E/E pair.

We've done this before. You said nothing then. So... elim!Devotary deflecting from elim!Danex? That's where my thoughts are going.

Well, that. That’s a great reason to hit Devo, since we’ve all but mechanically confirmed that it’s Dannex and a Grey, and now they’re trying to blame shift.

Edit: yes, what Gears said.

I’m not going to argue the personal stuff, which I’ll leave until later, but I will clarify that we’ve been trading our votes, not giving them away.

and it’s mostly because it’s fun. Legitimately, I swear to that. It’s been about fun.

ILLWEI!!!

I was bonded to Illwei. :(

There are 10 of us now. The general consensus was that there were 4-5 elims, from what I saw. We've eliminated 3. So 1-2/10. Either 10% or 20% of us are elims. That seems like pretty good odds to me.

I might finally win my first game! Ignore me, I'm just excited.

No. The converse wouldn’t necessarily be true. That’s not how this works.

Gears. I’ll examine more things later.

I know it's not true logically, but people were using this argument earlier, so I was being somewhat passive-aggressive. There is one elim!Brown. This has been established as fact. It's not Bubbles, so it's Danex.

So, obviously Danex/Devotary team, as can be evidenced by the deflection on Devotary's part. Try for a tie? Jam is with us, so we just have to focus all the votes on the two of them and gamble with what we think it will be.

No it hasn’t. It’s been established as a theory. You can’t just run with things like this. It’s no proof. Speculation on roles is not grounds for an exe. You have to look at the persons actions. Thus far, Dannex does not look guilty.

I give up on you. I have given many reasons over many cycles for Danex's guilt. People said Burnt's flip would prove Danex's alignment. We have established time and time again that it was either Danex or Burnt. And now that the evidence points to Danex, you deny it? Why? I don't understand, so I'm not going to try. You attack me for suspecting Danex, which I've done every cycle. Who do you want to kill? Why? Give me any good reason why we should do that person over Danex. [I'm sorry if this comes across badly. I just... I'm slightly frustrated. I feel a bit ignored by the populace who has completely disregarded my reasoning for Danex in favor of a more convoluted plan with no reasoning. I shouldn't take it out on you, and I apologise. However, I do still want your reasoning.]

Populace, thoughts on the tie?

Wait, why is elim!brown a fact??

It’s not, it was a theory. One up until now I stood by, but I still see no way Dannex is evil.

Dead doc has to be laughing their heads off at this :P.

Gears, I’ll reply more properly in an hour or so. I need to finish up homework and reconvene my notes and thoughts. And get off mobile.

I don't know! I genuinely don't. We've just established that in the mythos backlog, and I don't know where it came from. Then again, if elim!Brown wasn't a fact, why'd we X Burnt? That wouldn't have proven anything about Danex. So now, I propose the same reasons for the Danex X as last time, only we have NO OTHER TARGET. Comprehension? If the Greys are both vil, then Danex is vil, and we have no leads. As such, we have to X Danex, as I've been saying this entire game, and if Danex flips vil, we have nothing. If Danex flips elim, we X Devotary for what they said at the top of the cycle and then Jam if vil!Devo. Or we go for the tie, but that's a bit risky.

It looks like several of us need a break. Fine by me. I’ve got to relax. And then maybe catch up.

Wait, no. Breaker, James Brafin

I... did? I'm pretty darn sure I've mentioned agreeing with 5 elims and one elim Grey, but if not, that's on me. And now you know.

To whom it may concern: I think there are five elims, with one grey and one brown remaining!

Ah yes. Very convincing. A theory you've been pushing all game, based on setup spec, is now invalid.

I had a hunch this might happen, but I figured I'd wait until I saw it for myself; Dice is deflecting, just like Devo is. Team is Dice and Devo, pretty sure.

For those who have been wondering, elim!brown is an idea that's been pushed by Dice, Dannex, and Illwei since the start of this. My guess is here that Dice shoots Illwei to get control of town, then pushes a lynch on Gears that goes against everything he's been saying all game, to pull off the win.

James.

I was attacked. I am the reason Quinn was killed. I’ve tried not to state it that bluntly, but without my original suspicion everyone would have happily kept on reading her vil for effort. I was the first person to mention a gut evil on Lotus. I’m someone who happily chose Striker over Dannex. There is no way I’m evil in this game. None. I honestly don’t know what to make of you saying this.

As I said it was a theory. thought there would be an elim brown and imo my trust of Dannex trumps that. I said I’d reply more properly later, let me do that.

Honestly I’m almost at the point where I want to exe Dannex just because no one is going to let it go. You’re all gonna push it until it happens. I’ve exhausted myself defending him to the point I’m ready to get it over with.

I hope Orlok catches up soon :P.
