  1. @Sart After some personal reflection, I've come to the conclusion that I'd be happier to sit this one out. I'd be mildly interested in a spec doc though.
  2. !!!! That was not the ending I was expecting! A fine game by all. Prolly going to stay away from QFs until summer because hektik but it was a lot of fun for sure.
  3. The freaking title though. I'm amused -- TJ is clearly exasperated; he built this game and gave all the cards to town, and we still managed to screw it up. Well, that's just how the cookie crumbles. -- Jameson nodded at the two figures that were now at the door of his tent, the darkness cloaking all but the knives they held. There was no need for faces. There were only three left, and he knew already how it had been. With a quiet smile, he retrieved a pipe from the pouch and settled himself in the humble, but comfortable chair he had brought for himself, looked for a long moment, drew a few deep breaths of smoke, and began. "Clever. You've played your hand brilliantly, Breaker, I see. Kept your head down, your mouth closed, subtly directing us to our own demise while casting smoke and mirrors upon yourself. You kept me at Philico's throat just enough to sow discord, direct my mind away from the possibility that you were subtly leading myself and dear Roko astray. And it seems you've finally gotten to them, show them the light or error of your own ways, depending on who you ask, of course. And now you come to me, to extend either a hand or a knife to my flesh. Well played indeed." "So you come now, this night, and ask me, amid this storm, a question of interesting regard, I think. You ask me a question of person, of character, of moral. You ask me if I am willing to die for my honor? Or am I willing to reject it, and keep my own life? In essence, you ask me this: Am I a honorable man?" "So you come to me with this question. And in return, I pose you this: Have I once lied? Been untruthful? Been unfaithful to my word? Or have done other than to give myself for my community and my people, until I alone were to remain to represent them? I answer no, for though I walked them to their deaths, I did it for a love of my people and because I sought to protect them, and they knew as much and know now. And now, it seems, I may go to join them yet." "You come to me with violence, threatening me to join you, but after a man walks so many to their deaths, how does a man fear it himself? No, Death and I are close of spirit, for he has walked with his hand on my shoulder, and now he beckons me to follow him on his walk one last time. I have led my place in the Pattern, and now he is prepared to return me to it. But there is no need to come to me with violence, cousins. This pipe I hold? The herb I smoke? It is laced with poison, fit for the use of someone as myself who is placed as both a diplomat and a spy. I keep it with me always, should I my life be forfeit, and it seems that was not in vain. Perhaps, though, I will be remembered -- and you will remember me -- as a seeker of justice, and as an Ajah who never lied, and told only the truth that I meant for others to hear. -- James
  4. I'm not their teammate though. Jeez. As another point: Do you really think I am dumb enough to put my partner in a locked out position? Ever? If I were Elim the thought of a double here would have never come out of my mouth. You're just paranoid (or secret Elim). Calm.
  5. You misunderstad. I did it so you wouldn't' switch yours. I know it's probably unneeded, but it's a precaution none the less.
  6. Relax, I've just cleaned up a flaw in the plan. There is a possibility that Connie is Elim, and she's still got a buddy, right? Small, but possible. So she could switch their vote at the last second, hit Order, and win. I've voted Conden, and forced them to vote Order. Now, if they change their vote, they die, just as Order might if they are the Elim. Unless one of y'all do something wild, it forces the paired kill, and leaves nothing to chance.
  7. They ain't that active. The last thing they gave to me was a really bad and convoluted plan to mess with the planned tie yesterday Which isn't making me feel a whole lot better.
  8. Yeah, yeah, I just can't help but entertain the possibility that Dice is Elim, and not one of Connie/Order. I'm happier here though, because it will all be clear tomorrow.
  9. (I'm gonna be honest, I'd be significantly happier with two votes on each of Connie, Dice, and Order, but if we're wrong about all three -- unlikely -- that's town suicide. Also I don't think we could get Dice to agree to that.)
  10. There's six. Three people vote Connie, three vote order, and I don't touch anyone. That's the plan. Everyone cool with that? Okay? Okay.
  11. I would be good with a tie; We have a better shot at 3/2 worst case scenario than 4/2. And it's easier to do now than tomorrow, when we're just guessing. Anyone else?
  12. Oh gosh, It's been a while since I've read this. Count me in. Looks so complicated but fun.
  13. Sorry. It’s a good thought though! Keep doing it! If two Greys get there the Elims are probably screwed, so they have to hit one of us!
  14. Me, no targets. But I could have told you that, as Elims have been pushing for a misshrek for a while now. I think they’ve been hoping they can get us into exlo and nip one of us off. Also y’all have got to stop pining my anxious ass. Not cool. This wagon built way faster than I am comfortable with p-edit: Not true, Breaker; the greys can just screw up. Really bad too. But it’s a further compelling argument for why Archer is suspicious.
  15. Ah yes. So So your reasoning is "If James kills Devo, he'll look like an Elim. So James doesn't kill Devo, so he looks like an Elim?" So no matter what I do, I look like an elim. This is just confbias. I can't even. I've hashed out this argument twice now -- you can't elim read someone for both doing and not doing something. That's just bad logic! Not to mention that we have mechanically confirmed that both the Greys are village. The very fact that you are trying to get us both off today is about the dumbest thing you could be doing right now. (Edit to say that the Elims probably hit Orlock because it's a safe shot. No frills, nothing fancy; it deprives us of info and hides their motives. Their next shot will be between Order and Connie, most likely.)
