So, with Elandera probably posting the LG signups tomorrow, is it cool if DeTess and I post signups this coming Sunday or Monday? I think that’s a long enough wait to give people time to decide if they can do both, or for players to die in the LG and hop in our MR.

That sounds fine to me. Though I definitely am playing both games anyway.

I don’t think it should be a problem if we wait a bit to post signups. Both because it’ll give me a chance to get most of my finals out of the way before it starts and because it’s probably a bad idea to have two game signups happening at the same time.

It's kinda a very very weird concept, I actually think it might fit better as one of those new 'Break Tank' formats. So if it doesn't work at all and totally flops, it won't actually interrupt the cycle of real games. 

But yeah, I can't really explain it at all without ruining it, so who do I need to talk to?

Mat already covered it basically, but it's always the case that a couple committee members are certain they won't be playing (and one of the mods will have to be IMing), so you can just PM us as a group and we'll select a couple people to talk with you privately.

Break Tank games are a thing that will happen when we can figure out how the heck to format them. They may just be a partial game, may start on C2 or C3, may just be one 12-hour period in total or might be normal length. We'll see!

Could a Break Tank game just be a normal-formatted game with the asterisk *this might be horribly unbalanced and the only way for the GM to tell is to playtest it and then end it if it’s too broken*? Or could that just be run as an asterisky normal game?

That’s what my Tower game is shaping up to be...

That’s what my Tower game is shaping up to be...

Depends on how unbalanced we're talking. The idea is that BTs are run a little differently than normal games and in large part to test-run a concept more than play a full game with it, but we haven't really hashed out specifics beyond that.

@Araris Valerian I should be at the top of the list since I am no longer busy (besides maybe for KKC, though I doubt El and wilson want to run that now), and I’ve been working on getting the LG66 rerun ready to go. I’ll probably have the signups up by the end of the week.
