Voidus might take mercy on Ene, but the pineapples certainly wouldn't. They swarmed the newly-transformed samurai, thousands of pineapples charging the Narrator that was intent on playing fruit ninja samurai.

Misting gawked as the samurai expertly sliced the army of pineapples as they fell. That must've been like a 36-fruit combo! he thought, amazed.

Firerust had been summoned twelve pages ago, but was busy eating cupcakes. He grumpily stomped back into the Longest Thread, grumbling about his Eagersmart Applegrove Swirl eating being interrupted and yanked into yet another misadventure.

Symph randomly popped up while eat a pineapple, and casually produced 1739 more pineapples, which [insert my pronoun here] placed in various hats, then wore the hats, and then juggled the remaining pineapples. Of course, that was impossible.

Silent gatherer watched silently and waved a greeting while gathering pineapple shells

Meanwhile, Nin's apprentice was hiding behind a rock.

NIn's apprentice was very tired of this, and wanted to get on with his quest, so he and his friends, including the elephant, ate all the bananas.

At this point, it began raining pineapples again.

A few months later, after working to earn the money to pay for their rations and waiting for the pineapple situation to get somewhat under control, the party finally set off on their adventure. During the break, they'd picked up a new member:

Silent Gatherer. Who gathered all sorts of nefarious/admirable items. Silently, of course

But not actually Silently. Just silently.

The pineapples were poisoned.
