  1. Oh no.

Humans, I think I was flirting on accident.

Help I think I have done an awkward thing but maybe it was actually okay but I don’t know so now I’m way overthinking

  2. That's a doozy of a situation. Education is important, but so is your mental welfare. I'd listen to music, if it's available, or try to become as absolutely objective as possible while observing the information in the class. also, * hugs * by the way.
  3. * hugs to all * Living is hard sometimes, humans
  4. Ooh this is something I find interesting. Here are mine. The Sixth Station Elgar Cello Concerto in E minor (Though this sounds more like anguish than sadness) Mei is Missing Mad World (The Gary Jules one especially) I also think that there are some good compilations of sadder music on YouTube. I've found a few nice things there.
  5. I found a poem that I think I'd like to share. (Spoilered for length)

    Dulce et Decorum Est
    by Wilfred Owen
Bent double, like old beggars under sacks,
Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge,
Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs,
And towards our distant rest began to trudge.
Men marched asleep. Many had lost their boots,
    But limped on, blood-shod. All went lame; all blind;
Drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots
    Of gas-shells dropping softly behind.
Gas! GAS! Quick, boys!—An ecstasy of fumbling
Fitting the clumsy helmets just in time,
But someone still was yelling out and stumbling
And flound’ring like a man in fire or lime.—
Dim through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.
In all my dreams before my helpless sight,
He plunges at me, guttering, choking, drowning.
If in some smothering dreams, you too could pace
Behind the wagon that we flung him in,
And watch the white eyes writhing in his face,
    His hanging face, like a devil’s sick of sin;
If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood
Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs,
Obscene as cancer, bitter as the cud
Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues,—
My friend, you would not tell with such high zest
To children ardent for some desperate glory,
The old Lie: dulce et decorum est pro patria mori

The words "ducle et decorum est pro patria mori." were written by the poet Horace, and mean, "it is sweet and fitting to die for one's country. The poem was published after the author's death during the first World War. Wilfred Owen was a war poet, and wrote many poems about war and it's awfulness.

Anyway, this poem really touched me. It makes me wonder if humans truly are mostly good at heart, or if it may be the other way around. How do we do these things to each other? On the other hand, this poem gives me an appreciation for art and human expression through tragedy. I find it to be a truly wonderful thing.

I'm sorry. It seems my brain has been wandering strange corridors as of late.

    That's all I have.

That's an amazing and chilling poem. I love this version my sister shared with me, read by Christopher Eccleston (who some may know as the Ninth Doctor).

  6. Alright, I know this is a bit off topic, but I have to bring it up. What is your vocal range for singing then? How many octaves? I'm quite curious since I hadn't really thought about this sort of thing before. (And I haven't been hanging out with as many "Gay disasters" since I transferred schools and had to meet new people) So this isn't really something I'm all that familiar with. Sorry if I said anything offensive. If I did I didn't mean it. I'm known for being pretty awkward, and I even have a penchant for accidentally making drug jokes because I don't tend to socialize well, and am pretty awkward with spoken language. Sorry again if I said anything that hurt anyone's feelings.
  7. I think that should be allowed. But good luck actually finding one of those. It's kind of in the name.
  8. That's fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing! How long did it take to put together?
  9. Oooh that's a good question. I have no idea. I think it take more coordination and less anxiousness than I'm capable of.
  10. Oh no...

    I forgot that you left.

    This is saddening.

    We miss you, muffin cat!

  11. Wait. I did not know this. Abominable. Eggnog most certainly does not taste like bad milk. It tastes delicious.
  12. I am not a good writer. I can almost never bring myself to write anything because I never feel happy with whatever it is I complete, including drawing. I love to worldbuild, but I never actually do any because I can never come up with any ideas of like. I really want to do these things, to write, draw, wordbuild. I want to create characters, places, and magics that are mine. But it seems that I can never come up with anything, and the things I do come up with, I don't like.
  13. Oh hey Mr. Calano are you still active on here very much?
