Aman, i claimed tough guy. I never said that I was a bodyguard. Also I have 9 points and I'm not sure how that happened.

Ah, right. Sorry about that.

Yeah I jumped from 3.5 to 7, and I did the math in my GM PM, so somehow I gained an extra 2 points than I should have (which according to the rules only happens if you kill an enemy Epic)

A Bodyguard or Angry Guard can protect from a lynch the following day.

Ah, I understand now, keywords: the following day. So that means Danosaur was protected by a Bodyguard on N2 (if he's lying about being an Epic) which would also mean someone else in the GA that night is a Bodyguard, and the only reason I would imagine Dano would be protected over other players like Meta is if the two were GAs together. Do you have another way to prove your Epicness, Dano?

I have 3.5 points right now. That's after I gave up some to make sure that Elb would be able to scan me. I lost a few points by not posting during the time that I was busy with my final projects.

Sorry, nothing constructive.

What's your point count?

How many points did you donate exactly?

As a result you should have 2 points currently. In order to end up with 3.5, you would have had to used the GB room action once and donated .5 to Elbereth. I could see that being the case since your inactivity N1 could have extended to you not using the room action. However, Elbereth was down one whole point last turn and is now at 9.5. Why did you not donate a full point then (and be at 3.0 now)? And if you did, where did that extra .5 come from? A GA kill, or a N1 action?

I'm on the ferry all alone just like I was supposed to be. That means that Kyn must be in the pool.

As a result, you should be at -.5. If you used the room action both nights you'd be at 3.5 which is rather far off from 6. Granted, I know for a fact that I have received a mysterious two extra points since last turn, which is making this very difficult for me to understand. @Mailliw, are there secret ways to earn points? If so, can I spend mine to bribe you into telling us what exactly they are?

EDIT: Also, just in case it wasn't seen due to Dano bringing the thread to the second page shortly after I edited my last post on the first, I'm putting these edits here:

ALSO, @Mailliw, you never answered my question about whether or not a GA gets points for killing someone (since it's technically an action)

Oh, and @Kipper, how do you vote for and have a gut feeling on one of two living players responsible for killing the only GA so far? You evil, or you jelly bro? Either way, getgud.

I have 2.5 points.

To save Amanda from breaking it down I shall do so myself. :P

0.5 N2 post

1.0 N2 RP post

0.5 D3 post

0.5 D3 moving to GB

Future points

2.0 use GB action

0.5 N3 post

1.0 N3 RP (maybe)

Points at D4: 5.0 or 6.0 possibly 0.0 depending on RP and/or death.

Primarily, I would like to see a quick response from SD on this so I can see which of the four of them have the most suspicious point inconsistencies.

I actually asked about this, because I dropped in points when I didn't make a post during night 2. I did donate a full point to Elb, to make sure that she got enough to scan me.

There are other factors that you haven't accounted for, Aman.

You gain points(Except for the Banker, who does not earn their own points):

0.5 pt: First post each cycle

1 pt: RP-first time per cycle.

0.25 pt: Subsequent RP in a cycle.

0.5 pt: You have a vote placed at the end of the cycle.

0.5 pt: Using an action.

0.5 pt: Switching location(Getting placed on the Streets doesn’t count)

2 pts: killing or taking part in the lynching of an enemy Epic.(Only the gang linked to your win condition)

3 pts: killing or taking part in the lynching of a Government Agent in your own gang

-2 pt: Not posting in the thread for a turn.

-2 pts: Killing/Lynching a loyal member of your gang

For example, switching locations count and such.

You know, looking at it, part of the jump in points we got, it could be from "taking part in the lynching of a GA." We didn't kill Danosaur, but we did lynch him.

I accounted for the location change (abbreviated it as Local). So in your case there's still an extra .5. Did you use an ability on N1 when you were "inactive" and then use the room action the next night? That's the only way I can see the numbers working for you.

And the jump doesn't really make sense either, because that's only for a GA in your own gang (of which Danosaur does not belong to yours, Strawman or Elodin's), and for any of you to get extra points from lunching an Epic you'd have to be a part of the Neighborhood Watch. In either case that still does not account for my extra 2 points, since I voted for Elodin and he did not get lynched.

I forgot you lost points if you didn't post in a Turn. I've donated about 5 points to my Banker, so how is it that Elby only has 9.5 in 3 Cycles? Anyways, the Banks are getting flushed this Turn so I guess you probably shouldn't donate now.

I'm all alone in the lab.

You're in the lab? But I thought you were at the government building during the last day? I thought you had to spend a turn on the ferry first? How then, are you already at the lab? Unless I've got my facts wrong, and then you can correct me...

Err... no, you're facts of right. Either that was an error, or he has some sort of Teleporting ability.

,

Also, @Dano, Meta, SD: Announce how many points you have in thread immediately, please. Don't think about it, just check the GM PM and tell us the last number Mailliw told you. [/size]

I got zero now, I donated all of my points so I could get scanned. Just as a note, if you specifically ask to be placed on the streets, you get the points for switching locations

Also sorry about not responding to this, I was asleep.

So, I was wrong I have 6.5. I added mine up and got 2.5.

So 3 first posts for 0.5 each = 1.5

I have placed 1 vote for 0.5 pts = 0.5

I switched loaction once = 0.5

2 gov jobs for 2 pts = 4

-------------------------------

6.5

However there were 2 nights i did not post so -2 each = -4

---------------------------------

2.5

Maybe the points are taken off only if you are inactive for an entire day and night together.

EDIT:

OR, there are points for becoming an epic

I just had a thought. Completely up unrelated to this topic.

Regarding drunk people, I think it's safe to say that their actions so far have been neutral.

I'm guessing that their superiors in the command chain will get a notification when these people become un-drunk.

So, how about these notified people notify the thread (either personally, or through proxy) when a drunk person sobers up? I guess it would be a bit better when we do come to know that a neutral person becomes aligned to one faction, so I guess it would be better for a drunk person to own up on their own, but it would be better to have a confirmation, wouldn't it?

(That's a lot of betters by the way.)

The more betters, the better!

Also, I do not wanna do this maths thing, so I'm glad I donated.

Hey Danosaur, who protected you, do you know? If you do, it would be helpful to know

It had to be one of the other people in the Gov. Building, right?

SD, if you haven't noticed, Danosaur has claimed to be an Epic.

I have more to say, so I may or may not be able to post that in the next few hours. Depends how interesting horticulture is.
