Vyz realizes it’s all the homework’s fault. “Who wants to join me,” he said,”to defeat the homework!”

"I will join!" declares Storm, who promptly rips open a stranger's backpack and starts stabbing at random pieces of paper. "Die! Die! Die! For Eddie!"

Darkern edgier hisses at the mention of homework.

"Tssssssss! doth not speak the evil's name!"

"That is what the beast wants!" cries out Storm as he jabs the homework full of holes.

"A month ago was the last visit of a legend," Spark said. "We loved her, and she loved us. Eddie wasn't a nerd, but she took the place of one in our hearts. She loved theatre and roleplaying, music and Sanderson. She had a love-hate relationship with biking, wrote amazing short stories, debated, and played violin.

"She was overwhelmed with her schoolwork, unfortunately, and she had to leave us. Perhaps, someday, she will return, but for now, she is gone. Until we know, we will miss her."

Spark paused. "Would anyone like to approach the podium to say anything else?"

I am dissapointed that I wasn't even tagged. I salute our fallen non-nerd, but most importantly, our friend. 🫡😔

The homework casts a spell:

Solve by hand under the domain of all real numbers: cos 2x = 2 cos x

"Ahhh!" cries Storm, staggering back. "Quick! Get help! Burn it!"

Darkern gasps, as if being freed from something, then starts stomping on @SpiritOfWrath's leafeon, that has somehow re-animated and entered the funeral. he then, calmly lets loose his flamethrower onto the plant fox. "burn, zombie." he mutters with mild discontent.

"No compromises with darkness. Only... death!" Storm calls out dramatically, raising his sword above his head to strike That-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named down.

The trigonometric identity quickly evolved.

Cos 2x = 2cos x

Cos^2 x - Sin^2 x = Cos x + cot x / csc x

Cos^2 x + cos^ 2 x = cos x + cot x / csc x + 1

2 cos^2 x = cos (x/2)cos(x/2) - sin(x/2)sin(x/2) + cot x / csc x

It would soon become impossible to solve. Time was running out and my knowledge of trig identities

"Help! Help!" cries Storm in agony as the math sears him and forces him to drop his sword. "Anybody? Please..."

Then, with her calculator, she-

"KILL IT!" she screamed.

"Yes!" cried Storm triumphantly, despite the pain. "Die!"

Vyz blinks back to reality. He notices all the chaos around him. “What have I done,” he whispers. He stumbles out of the funeral, trying to get away from this chaos of his own doing.
