Uh… I was never in the funeral… :). I never knew Rue, I joined 5 days after she left.

that's what I meant by "abandoning".

Would you like your leafeon to be revived to perish in various macabre ways? I can do this all day.

"A month ago was the last visit of a legend," Spark said. "We loved her, and she loved us. Eddie wasn't a nerd, but she took the place of one in our hearts. She loved theatre and roleplaying, music and Sanderson. She had a love-hate relationship with biking, wrote amazing short stories, debated, and played violin.

"She was overwhelmed with her schoolwork, unfortunately, and she had to leave us. Perhaps, someday, she will return, but for now, she is gone. Until we know, we will miss her."

Spark paused. "Would anyone like to approach the podium to say anything else?"

Glass took @Twinstorm's stick of dynamite and threw it out the window.

Storm, regretting the loss of his weapons, calls a military supplier for more dynamite.

Eddie rue was realistically one of the most talented modern sharders I have ever met. You can see that in the way that she formulates her RP posts, her writing thread which is filled with detailed snippets, and every status update she made. She had put passion and dedication into every post she made. There truly are not many people like her in the world. And as the shard starts to die down and take it's last few breaths, I hope that everyone will remember Edema Rue for the eons to come, because I certainly will.

Storm pauses from his call, taking a moment to wipe a tear from his eye at the beautiful elegy, and silently vows to avenge Edema Rue.

The homework must pay for what it did to Eddie.

Rye walks in. "Sorry I'm late, but Edema Rue, Thaidakar the Ghostblood, and Just-A-Stick were among the greatest Sharders I ever knew."

Rye whispers, "Yes and so are Eddie and Thaid, technically."

Vyz realizes it’s all the homework’s fault. “Who wants to join me,” he said,”to defeat the homework!”
