Guys, I was just absent. XD My lack of engagement is NAI, since it was caused by real life obligations. I do intend to start solving as I get my feet under me. That said, with this being a more traditional game, I'll be much less effective; I'm good at negotiating and coordination; not so much at deception and reads. But I'll do my best, and my web of contacts should be useful.

I'll level a vote at Matrim's Dice to further encourage him to share this interesting PM defense everyone's talking about.

I think so? I've got a good gut read on Experience. Not 100% sure on Ash, but leaning Village for right now.

Okay I’m on my phone and can’t for the life of me figure out how to move quotes around in the editor so just imagine I quoted the two posts I’m referencing lol

so it turns out I was an idiot and misattributed a post Mat made as being a post Ash made in my head. The two posts  I was thinking of were Ash’s “Fifth how could you” post, which I originally had a hard time figuring out how that could be in reference to last game cuz none of the stuff that happened was actually on Fifth except for role assignments but there was so much going on that on its own I would just ignore that.

 

and then I had thought Ash said a thing that he then felt the need to follow up with “that’s not an sk soft”, but it turns out that was a post Mat made, not a post Ash made.

so, Ash.

I’m wary of C1 voting Mat (I have done it many many times and I tend to be wrong, see C1 of this game for a wonderful example of that) so for now I’m not gonna do that lol

I think TJ is a fine vote - i think he had 'distracted' vibes in his posts at SoD, particularly in his convo with mat. Then i got slight pings from his post indirectly sussing wonko in response to my elaborated gut read, and now i have a feeling this recent readslist looks wolf shaped. i couldnt explain what that means to myself so dont ask xD. The bottom tier is very consensus-y. that said, im leaning town on quin so i agree there. i dont understand my placement though :p.

I just lumped them all together because they're connection with mat defending Ash in Exp's PMs, and they'll stay there until it's resolved, hence the question mark. Also, it's not consensus when I was the one to bring up the suspicion on Exp smh.

But this is how rumors get started, because as Exp will back me up on once he rereads the PM, all I said was that I think Ash is softing a weird/crazy role, (what with the “what have you done to me” and “I could make it up to you”) but didn’t think he’d be that careless to post those things as the jabberwocky.

But more to the point, I also said that my Ash read was vaguely negative.

Frankly, the pileup on me over this is quite weird and I’d like to not be C1d twice in the same game lol

Forgot you got voted out first last time. Matrim's Dice, for that alone. I suppose pocketing is the wrong word, but it just felt off to give a village read with that little to go on. Considering that you started with a negative read, especially with Ash bemoaning his fate in thread, that whole conversation makes more sense.

You yourself have given out two village reads so far, but I’ll ignore that I suppose. In a 3 cycle QF, reads have to come fast.

Talked myself out of Experience. Will get a vote down in the next few hours but I will be absent for the last hour and a half of the turn again. I lean on agreeing with a lot of Stick’s takes, but not really the Wonko one.

Well, the train was actually quite small, with only Sart and Wonko ever voting me. Neither feels especially evil to me (or at least, not in any trustworthy way) and I do agree with Stick that Wonko rejecting her village read of him is villagery. If you expand that to include everyone who pinged/quoted me in that sequence it's more likely, obviously.
