    Great game everyone! Thank you @little wilson, @Elbereth, and @Devotary of Spontaneity for running things. This was a lot of fun, despite my early expulsion. I enjoyed writing some RP, especially with the contracts available early on. Kinda lost motivation to write a lot when I got expelled + went on family vacation, so I never managed to kill the dragon. I won my pipes T1M2, and then won 15 talents at the Loaded Dice on my second attempt there, so I ended up having access to plenty of cash. The Ruh discounts and the Arithmetic discounts were both very nice. I accepted the contract to kill Mat, and almost did, but eventually figured that attempts at killing Ash were just better. I had fun reading everyone’s RP this game, so thanks to everyone who took some time to flesh out our game .

    Oh yeah, it appears that Assassins go up in price by 10 talents per purchase, and then drop by 5 per Month back down until 30. That info is based on a sample size of 1, but it will potentially put a damper on any plans to spam Assassins. Barring contract completion or lucky gambling, I can only recruit 1 this month.

    Szeth’s death could be due to sabotage, right? If the Elims are trying to avoid narrowing POE at the university. Though that doesn’t explain all the other missing sabotages, or why they didn’t hit me, since I’m a bit more active and visibly trying to buy assassins. (By the way, for anyone that hasn’t run the numbers, betting on 2 or 3 numbers at the Loaded Dice has a pretty high expected value for Ruh/Cealdish. I prefer 2 since winning too much locks you out, but 3 is slightly better on average)

    I attacked TJ, I’m assuming that’s the “attacked but survived” result in the writeup. Shame too, that was a waste of 18 talents, and I’m just a Ruh.

    Kas figured out I have Arithmetic 1 somehow. Was kinda the obvious choice for me, given that I already had an essay ready (oral prelim syllabus FTW!), though in hindsight (and without getting expelled) it may have been smarter to just go for Master Arithmetics with the other 3 in something else.

    @Wonko the Sane, no. Soonest is next turn if I’m lucky, otherwise start of next term. Edit: Rules thing: you can’t pass coins, though contracts can functionally do the same thing on a delay.

    I have some spare cash if someone in attendance wants to think about hiring an assassin. I’m sure I could cook up some kind of contract to pass a suitable amount. But as a warning, the base cost is now 40 talents. I have a 40% discount though, so if someone wanted to work with me using naming that is also probably an option. Unless I get lucky gambling I can’t hire another one until next term.

    Well, if the Skindancers don’t want to sabotage us then I don’t have any complaints. I did successfully buy an assassin last month (though I missed Kas’s post), so hopefully we will get the first flip at the end of the month.

    What are folks’ preferences on flipping expelled people? Just in case I ever save enough money for assassins. I have my own thoughts but figure it could minimally be a useful exercise.
