  1. I will dw I have a beautiful idea for his end Cricket fell on one knee, paying his final respects. He summoned Redemption, the Blade of light. He smiled. It had returned to him. He was worthy of the Blade once more. He drove it into the sad, and placed his hands on the crossguard, bowing his head. "Winds bless you, Glass. Always."
  2. He sighed, turning away. "I'm going now. Whether I live or die . . . it's been an honor. To be part of your story." dude you do not know how much I've missed rping with you glass like seeing the glass quoted you in the longest thread notification
  3. Cricket nodded, as a tear ran down his cheek. "Thank you. For everything. For Tam. You know, once we hated you. We hated the Authors. But now . . . I see you're not so bad. We're not that different. In some ways, the creator and the created . . . we're the same. You are Tam. I am TwinStorm." He breathed. "Thank you. I . . . I don't know if I can ever forgive the pain you've done to us, but . . . I can try. I will try." He took a step back. "I would like to see Tam again . . . sometime."
  4. gotchu lol I already asked you to co-GM
  5. "Glass." he whispered. He hadn't met her, but he knew her. He knew her through Tam, through Shoe. He knew who she was. "All stories must end. Mine will. Yours will. Even the Thread must end. It doesn't matter when it ends, but how. I choose my death. I choose to end my story. Today. On my terms."
  6. I can run it! (imma try and grab a co-GM tho)
  7. Cricket stood. He felt Bat, in the darkness of his soul, a light, a hope. Bat remained within his heart. Bat forgave him. For all his sins, everything he'd ever done. He was forgiven. He stood up. The breeze blew harsher. A storm was blowing in. He smiled, glancing towards Rebus. Strangely, he did not hate him nearly as much. He had blamed himself for Bat's death, but now . . . "Rebus!" he shouted, striding towards him. "I'm ready to die." @DragonHeir Cricket nodded. "Indeed." Her Author, he guessed.
  8. Cricket glanced up in alarm as the light faded. Quickly, he fell on one knee. "Bat . . . I . . . before you go, please . . ." He breathed in softly. "I need to ask you one thing." "Do you forgive me?" @Keke
  9. Cricket fell to his knees in awe. Bat . . . he . . . Winds . . . "Thank you." he breathed. "I'll . . .thank you." Cricket glanced at Rebus. No anger in his eyes. Just calm. Deadly calm. "Winds damn you, Rebus." @DragonHeir
  10. Cricket stood at a riverbank, watching the stream froth and churn, as the rushing water carried autumn's leaves towards the sea. This was a fitting place to do it. He sat at the edge of the bank, watching the water dance around the bends, before carefully removing a sheet of paper from his bag. A letter. He sighed, unfolding it, quickly scanning the contents he had written. This needed to be done, before the end. “Dear Tam and Bat.” he breathed softly, feeling the breeze tousle his hair. Their names . . . Winds, the memories those blames brought back. “It's been, honestly, a nightmare since you've been gone. I mean, I'm the last of us. Of all of us. New characters have taken our place, but I'm still here, gathering dust.” he sighed, trying to keep the bitterness out of his voice. “The Thread . . . it's been bad. Rebus is still the Antagonist, and more and more of the Narrators are just tolerating him, even supporting him. I've been trying to resist, but he's so bloody devious. I can't make a move past him, so . . . we're going to duel. To end this.” “Listen . . . Tam . . . Bat . . . you two are the reason I still fight. I can't leave, I can't die, till you've been avenged. You've been my best friends, and the only ones I could truly trust. With Rose gone too . . . listen, I . . .” he sighed, rubbing his head. “I don't even know if you can hear this. If you can, I . . . need strength. The fight I have before me . . . I'm not strong enough. It's not like fighting Malevolence, or even Malan. I can't beat him alone. I need your help, your strength.” Cricket paused for a moment. “So . . . Winds, I just hope you can hear this. This needed to be said, before it ends.” @Through The Living Glass @Bird Furious
  11. Chaos summoned Cricket from the shadows yet again. The Authors were troubled. This was bad, very bad. "Rebus." he whispered softly, his words echoing throughout the Thread. "What happened to Sequence?" anyone wanna give context for what just happened also @DragonHeir I have a plan for the duel dw give me a couple posts

  13. I really like this theory his grandfather also had noble blood according to the Coppermind, the key being that the grandfather is not noble in himself, but descended from one
  14. Janus moved through the engine room. He wasn't doing this for himself. He had a brother, younger than him, also a gambler. A bad one though. Not like him. They had won a trip on the TYRIAN, and he needed to save him. Now he was just waiting. If a saboteur entered, he would know. A gamble, but won he would take. No movement. He rested his head against the wall, twirling his coin between his fingers. If anyone came in, pull the alarm, tackle them. Ask questions later. No movement. He leaned back, stretching. How long had he been there? An hour? Two? It must be at least two. No movement. He started getting restless, tapping his fingers against a tank. No movement. He got up, popping his shoulder. He dropped his coin and burned iron, Pulling it idly up to his chest. No movement. He glanced around. The shadows stretched across the room, and the only light was the pulsing of the control board. No movement. He looked up. The shadows were deepest in the corner where . . . Movement. A dropped coin. He jumped to his feet, but the shadows moved. A shape dropped. He instinctively Pulled on the coin, but the shadow, the man, moved first. The coin shot at him, faster than he anticipated. He staggered, glancing at his chest. Blood. Blood on his chest. Blood of Adonalsium . . . He looked up at the shape, who had started towards the control board. I'm sorry, brother, he thought.

  16. WOT is a product of its time as my favorite book series ever behind LOTR, its all redeemed in the last 4 books which are some of the best things I've ever read and where it really modernized and stopped being weird. -- Janus knew men. He understood them in a way few others did, thanks to his father. His father had taught him rules for life. Know your men, know your metals, and know if your luck can be pushed. All three of these had saved his life on multiple occasions. Admittedly, he never thought he'd get to space. Space had always been unreachable to him, a poor boy from the Old Roughs. Now he was going to die in space. He sighed, flipping a coin. Heads, with the image of the Dawnshot carved into it. A special commission by a lord who had lost it in a game of dice with Janus. Blood of Shards, he thought. This was difficult. He was not an engineer, or a fighter. He was a gambler. He couldn't . . . he froze. Know your men. The first rule. He knew men and how they acted, behaved and lied. He was especially good at seeing through the lies. Maybe . . . maybe he could help save the ship, before the TYRIAN fell.
  17. I had an awful performance this game but still thanks Drake and congrats to the elims to the victors go the spoils
  18. IHAT life is so busy rn what with finals and being sick I can't properly participate till the weekend, so voting off of vibes
  19. don't know what to make of the tineye message 50% right, and the 4 elims sound accurate also sry guys imma tell you rn I suck at vote anaylsis my strengths are in vibe kills and analyzing past posts rn tho im just trying to fully grasp everything that just happened also annoyed that Hoid slayer died lol I feel like I trusted him more than most
  20. okay, so vibes Doc is giving village rn. Sure I said earlier I know he's village and will defend him to the death, but legitimately the vibe hes giving in PMs is the kind of thing I like. Ksauce is fairly neutral for me. I have been pretty friendly in the past with Ksauce, like Doc, so theres an unhealthy amount of bias in my feelings rn, but I liked how he reached out to contact me. He did also claim Smoker immediately, which is alignment indicative, but something about the vibe feels wrong. It makes sense for the elims to hide among the Smokers. Also asked me some interesting questions, abt Fura, who up til now I've had no real contact with. Hoid, I've had limited reactions with, but has been very honest and up front thus far. Clearly busy irl, but I respect the energy. Fura is giving me Kas vibes thats good
  21. not loving this situation rn TJ who doesn't love a little bit of tie madness? Edited: looking back, I don't want to exe TJ, since we can learn a lot abt him after the Night due to his role analysis I also don't wanna exe Stick or Fura either ig a tie works tho can you explain why not responding makes you think hes village? Its fine if theres nothing there, and its just based on vibes
  22. perfect, I didn't see it anywhere and figured it'd be quicker to ask now to PMing . . .
