  1. That's way too much addition, and I don't like seeing math on summer break *resets*
  2. That's fair. I promise I'm not scary, despite me being a mod xD Those of ya'll that have met me in person can attest to that, along with some others lol
  3. Lol yeah I know the reason, just saying it isn't technically the formatted text itself
  4. It makes sense, since older sharders are more likely to have interacted with mods more and realized we aren't scary. And since a bunch of mods are more active on the Discord, those on the discord also don't find us nearly as scary xD Nobody found me scary when I just had my orange-ish Keeper name lol They're all active on the discord, that's why (as Aeoryi said). The discord has much more chatter and active members, so most of the mods are primarily active there. (Though many used to be active here when most of the activity/discussion was on the forums) And yeah, Rasarr does the AoN distribution, and Chaos and Ene are on here some as well. Though whenever someone sends a report, all the mods get alerted, and whenever we do moderation we do it as a staff team, so a bunch of mods will look at things
  5. Lol Kaymyth and LewsTherinTelescope? Well yeah, sometimes I do have to do my job xD But that's a small percentage of my total time perusing the forums
  6. Ya'll sometimes I genuinely just look through the forums for fun I'm not always actively doing moderatory stuff. I get how mods can be scary, but you really don't need to worry. Even if you did accidentally do something against forum policy, we'll let you know, but we know when things are accidents, and you won't get punished for double posting or something. You're only likely to get banned/temp banned if you repeatedly break rules after being told off, or major code of conduct violations
  7. I'm listening to Dungeon Crawler Carl book 2 rn and dang this series is amazing

      storm yes.

  8. It is interesting yeah. And as a reminder: while I think this forum is better than many out there, it’s still fully visible to everyone with an internet connection, and that’s a good thing to keep in mind. While maybe less than some forums, there are unfortunately still some trolls and assholes that show up from time to time. They just get banned swiftly
  9. Sounds like you’re spot on, this would be my guess as well. Good on you for being that self aware to know this about yourself. It’s kinda what I’ve mentioned to you before about self verification therapy. Your brain sees the depression as the norm and wants to find ways to cling on. But eventually your unconscious identity can and will change. You’re allowed to be happy, and it’s good to consciously affirm that fact At least in my mind, that kinda is how depression works in a way. Or at least, how the brain works if you believe self verification theory, which then applies to depression But psychologists disagree on a lot of stuff xD
  10. I thought about stopping yall at a few points but I like to let yall have your fun
  11. Yeah a few weeks might be rough, though if you do want to get back into it, you can make your daily max review limit lower on anki so you don’t have as many per day
  12. I’ve moved this to Forum Games, since it’s more of a game than actual book discussion
