  1. "Honestly? I respect that." - The High Preist ignored him. A rival had appeared in front of his temple. He would not have the sacred ground defiled. "Bah!" he spat, and brandished his scepter. "I am the prophet of Plot! I will give thee prophecy! I say, hitherly, that the Enuller Cricket will fall to the Antagonist's blade!'

    Cricket resting, finally

beautiful lol I love Flanders fields
  3. He swore. He liked Utility well enough, but he could be abrupt. -- The High Priest glanced at the unbeliever. "Down on your knees, ye filth of the underworld." Thunder rumbled and lightning smote the false prophet. "I have communed with Plot, himself, for 2000 pages, and he revealed it to me this day! I say, Antagonist rises!"
  4. Neither of the GMs will be around at rollover, so pls expect the rollover to be delayed by an hour or so Sorry bout it just don't post after 8
  5. "My creator . . . his servants still live. If I can bring them to justice, that might draw the Authors' attention." "I'm stronger than Cricket." he lied. Honestly, he wasn't sure. He had bested Cricket before in the fight in the snow, but he doubted he could take Malan, or even the Antagonist, himself. -- The High Priest of Plot emerged from his temple. "Woe upon ye! Despair! The god of darkness, the Antagonist, himself, has risen!"
  6. "This deal with Rebus will end disastrously. He is the Antagonist." Atreides sighed. "Listen. I'm debted to both of you, and . . . I want none of it." "It'll be fine. I'm an Enuller, after all."
  7. "Malan's hunters. They're still alive." he jumped excitedly. "If I can get to them and kill them, maybe I can redeem myself!" yes "Make it quick? I'm here because Malevolence and Rebus are willing to risk everything to get to each other. I want no conflict. I have made pledges to both of them. You, however, offer a way out. You're an Inkling."
  8. Atreides sighed. "He's a wild card. I don't know what'll happen next with him." --- Stone jumped. "Utility! Ribbon! I think I have an idea!" @Aeoryi @Through The Living Glass
  9. Atreides sighed. "I have other business." Atreides, himself, turned. "What is this competition? A game of wits? A duel? Don't try your hand at another one, Rebus." -- "Desolation?" Atreides whispered. "I have a deal to make." @Aeoryi yes hes trying to play the social game tis a memory of when cricket agreed to fetch the Page it never panned out ofc
  10. Atreides hated the deal, personally. The Crusade needed to continue, and Rebus was a dangerous enemy. Chaisler showed that much. Rebus had torn his entire life apart to get to him.
  11. I'd like to back nominating @Hoid Slayer how abt @Furamirionind
  12. "Who is this Inkwell? Whoever he is, he's powerful."
  13. Atreides cursed, not expecting the movement. Crusade slammed into a stone, wedging itself firmly in the stone. He stalked over. Inkwell had escape. "Heh." he spat. "Clever. You can go for now. I must talk to Malevolence. Next time we meet though . . ." He reached down, seizing Crusade and drawing it from the stone. @NameIess
  14. Atreides stalked past him, ignoring him. He sighed. "I have a job to do. Come with me."
  15. He smiled. "A sob story? True denizen of the Thread, then." "Then, why is Malevolence so interested in you?"
  16. "I have some questions for you, Narrator." "Who are you?"
  17. He gritted his teeth. This insolent fool was annoyingly good with words. "My . . . service is but a step in my Crusade." "Beauty does not matter. If it fleets, if it does not remain, it is worthless." "And as for her, I've fought worse."
  18. Atreides grimaced. "Not an insult. A fact. Soon to be a bloody fact."
  19. Atreides turned to the insubordinate one. "What's your name, worm?" Atreides smiled. "I'm not a fighter, either, I'm a ruler." He leaned. "And this I swear, next time, we meet, I will not be so merciful." "And I always keep my word."
  20. Atreides smiled. "My master sent for you. He wishes to speak for you. And as for trouble. . ." he hefted Crusade. "You don't want me to deal with too."
  21. yeah that works Atreides stood at a distance, watching the two duke it out. As fun as it was, he had a job to do, and when Inkwell ran, he followed.
  22. ok we can just say their still fighting Atreides offered him a deal
