  1. We need to get some atium for the hemalurgic beaver so we know it will never die
  2. I could see one that basically enhances your natural qualities. If you're born strong, you're extra strong. Stuff like that. Kind of ends up as a super-power system but more limited though
  3. We had the sibling mention bondsmith squires too I think? Which I thought was impossible but I guess not. So it may just be a personal thing
  4. Vin is absolutely a Windrunner. She even basically says one of the Windrunner ideals
  5. It seems likely that some deadeyes are gonna be woken up one way or another. I saw one theory that sja-anat's "enlightened" spren used to be deadeyes, plus there's whatever's going on with Adolin and Maya. So I wouldn't count Riah out yet. And I'm saying this only like, half because I want only good things for Leshwi. The other half is cause I want to see a corrupted honorspren.
  6. I'm 95% sure they're both gay, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're being set up
  7. That makes a lot of sense, I hadn't noticed that quote in the book. That does seem to be a strong indication. So what does that mean for Maya, who awakened more than usual without Sja-Anat? And is maya gonna be corrupted? Are we gonna see Adolin and Renarin both be corrupted radiants? I like this theory a lot. I'd think we'd see more corrupted honorspren though, since they all died in the recreance
  8. Interesting theory. If there is a way to keep spren alive in the physical realm when they're pulled through like that, I'm guessing they've figured it out by now, and they do seem useful for space travel
  9. We could assume that, but it's definitely nice to have confirmation
  10. Tangentially, I was really hoping Rlain would bond a corrupted honorspren. I was close though
  11. I promise I'm not Ookla and have no idea what Ookla season is and am slightly worried
  12. I hope we get to see more corrupted highspren and corrupted radiants soon, in which case we can see how non-mistspren are named.
  13. Basically, we don't know for absolute certain that Kelsier is Thaidakar, but that's clearly who Brandon wants us to think he is if nothing else
  14. Probably, but the Sons of Honor themselves seem to be basically gone, so I don't think they're any more worthy of inclusion than anyone else that's been involved in Cosmere-sized events until now; the Radiants we're following, Kelsier's crew, etc.
  15. This one I'd guess? I read it and it was really good https://archiveofourown.org/works/24891937/chapters/60228025
  16. Are we allowed to talk about hemalurgic tin in here? Cause I think you could do some fun stuff with that, taking senses from animals that humans don't have. Maybe even stealing investiture senses like life sense (and a-bronze maybe?)
  17. I'm fairly sure there are WOBs confirming that it is actually silver, but I can't seem to find one. If nothing else, there are some that imply it like this
  18. I think a big problem is that there are two entirely different mythologies surrounding him, which is probably being funky with his cognitive aspect
  19. [SPOILER ERA 2] That's possible but in that case it would be very useful for dealing with Trell, since we know based on the redness that there's corrupted investiture there. Plus, a 17th (and presumably corresponding 18th) metal seems very strange given the significance of the number 16
  20. Lerasium might be hyper-gold. Gold allomancy allows you to see/feel versions of yourself that could have been and clearly works on a spiritual level of some sort, and Lerasium allows you to change your current spirit. Plus, it would make sense thematically if Lerasium and Atium corresponded with paired metals. Also, where'd we find out anything about Edglium?
  21. The Rosharans have different pressures than we do due to the nature of their world, and so their innovations will lead them to different places. For a simple example we saw in the book, the existence of rotspren probably hinders development in germ theory since a lot of people ill look to rotspren as a disease vector, but also allows them to intuit things about infections we needed germ theory to know.
  22. I think a big question here is still that since metal seems to have universal properties, and we know silver has properties on Threnody, why haven't they been discovered on Scadrial (or even Roshar). It's a common enough metal that I'm sure people have experimented with it.
  23. I think that, given what we've learned in RoW, this does not exclude it being steel. If anything, it may even improve it if the theory is right. It seems distinctly possible that Nightblood has inverted investiture of some manner involved in its creation, which might explain why it does the opposite of what we'd expect
  24. I think this may be something more unique to bondsmith powers, greater than the sum of their surges. Since windrunners also can manipulate connection but we've never seen them able to do anything Dalinar can (nor have we seen Dalinar do anything they can, I think? I could be forgetting something there) it seems like a safe bet that there's something fundamentally different about how bondsmith powers work. I also think seeing Navani explore her powers, particularly with her scientific mind, is going to give us a much better understanding of this soon.
